I’d love to see a fic where the Hokage can’t take Kakashi off the mission roster to become a full-time sensei so team 7 rotates between 2+ different teachers but Kakashi is still supposed to be the official one.

Kakashi is ANBU Commander. Sandaime wants Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto to join ANBU straight from the academy. Kakashi is forced to let them join and trains them himself. He is really hard on them and they collapse every night from exhaustion.

Kakashi is still in ANBU as their best and strongest member when he gets team 7. The Sandaime still has to send him on missions so he has to go once or twice every couple weeks and Kakashi gets the other teachers to take care of his kids then. Example: the first mission he’s sent on while having team 7 is an assassination of an informant for Iwa, he goes with 2 teammates from Team Ro (I’ve always thought there were 5-10 people on each team and they all know how to work together or only with some people and sometimes only some of them get sent out and sometimes all of them get sent out.) Kakashi gives them to Asuma to train for 4 days or so. Kakashi gets back and expands on what Asuma teaches them about basics and is actually a good teacher. Then Kakashi needs to find a couple missing-nin and eliminate them with 3 team members, they come back after a week and Team 7 was with Gai. Kakashi makes them stick to that training regimen. Kurenai takes them next and they learn about genjutsu. Then the cycle starts again and sometimes Genma or Aoba or other jonin will help. Team 7 learns all sorts of things and finally find something to specialize in. Kakashi decides not to enter his team and Asuma and Kurenai follow his lead. Orochimaru has to attack during chunnin exams but the kids are on a training trip and Kakashi returned for the day. Orochimaru is killed and Gaara doesn’t let the Ichibi out when he sees that. All 3 pass the exams the next year in Kumo. Kakashi still trains them sometimes and helps them but he’s mostly back in ANBU. Sasuke joins ANBU and eventually has a mission where he runs into Itachi. Itachi is killed. Sakura is put on a new team with Shikamaru, Hinata, and Shino but sometimes other join and they take most of their missions together. She works at the hospital at least 20 hours a week while in village, and spends the rest of the time training with her new and old teammates trying to reach jonin level. Naruto leaves on a training trip with Jiraiya for 2 years. He learns lots of stuff including ninjutsu and fuinjutsu. He comes back and Sasuke, Shikamaru, and Neji are jonin. He takes the jonin exams the same year as Sakura and they both pass. Can be continued...

Just some thoughts I was having... I think Kakashi would have been better without the Sharingan. He couldn’t use it for long periods of time and the chakra drainage was immense. When he got it I feel like he trained to use it so as to honour Obito and neglected the rest of his training, he even just settled with his chidori and accepted that he could only use it with a Sharingan. Kakashi was a genius. A jonin at 12, possibly could’ve gotten promoted earlier. But he depended on the Sharingan instead of focusing on speed, strength, and stamina. He could’ve created more jutsu instead of just copying ones that could’ve been improved on. I kinda want to read a story where Kakashi never loses an eye and never gets a Sharingan.

Hatake white chakra is expanded on. It can do more than just inserting chakra along one specific blade to make it light up with lightning. Maybe there’s 2 chakra types in his body. Regular chakra which he uses for jutsu and tree walking and all of that, then white chakra which can be used to physically manifest a weapon made of pure white chakra, usually lightning natured.

Kakashi uses his fathers tanto like shown in the story and after it breaks he forgets about it until he’s on medical leave from ANBU when he’s 18 or so. He tries to fix the tanto and to do that he explores the Hatake clan compound for scrolls and research material. He finds the Hatake library which was hidden behind seals and learns all sorts of new clan secrets and jutsu that his father didn’t bother looking at because he was mourning his clan. Kakashi learns all sorts of techniques and improves in everything from ninjutsu to taijutsu to kenjutsu to white chakra mastery. He becomes and even stronger fighter.

Kinoe/Tenzo/Yamato has a friend who survived Orochimaru’s experimentation and went to Danzo as well. She/he doesn’t have mokuton but some other power, maybe the ability to control all elements without handsigns, maybe lightning could come easiest. Kinoe/Tenzo/Yamato brings her/him with him into ANBU onto Team Ro when Kakashi gets him out of ROOT. Romance could be involved but not the main theme, she/he doesn’t have to end up with Yamato, it can be anyone.

Naruto’s generation growing up in a time of war. The third war ended and 5ish years later the fourth war starts. Iwa + Kiri + little countries like Kusa and Ame VS Kumo + Suna + Konoha. Most kids graduate between 8-10 and have to grow up quickly.

Explicit content included: A story where Kakashi never gets the Sharingan but is still feared by all. Obito still dies but Kakashi never loses his eye so Obito doesn’t give his. Kakashi promises he will protect Rin though and trains to be the best he can possibly be to keep that promise. He still can’t save Rin though so he works harder so as to never lose a comrade or a friend again. He still loses people but he does his best.

I’m just going to say, I think when Kakashi got the Sharingan he didn’t think he needed to work as hard so he still trained but he was more like “I have a Sharingan, I will master it and protect everyone like that” but he depended too much on it. If he didn’t have it he would focus on improving himself and not waste so much time on a Sharingan that he feels obligated to use because it was a gift.

He becomes extremely proficient with his basic skills that he can beat many people simply. Imagine: He beats everyone with kunai and the academy three.

He’d also be good with all types of weapons: shuriken, kunai, swords-tanto, long, short, and everything else. Imagine: he steals all sorts of weapons from his enemies and uses them against their owner with brutal efficiency.

He created his own jutsu so why doesn’t he do more. Imagine: he manipulates his lightning chakra so well that it takes any form he wishes without the use of hand signs. After that he moves onto Earth and Water where he only needs one hand sign for each to switch the affinity he’s working with and can manipulate them into any shape. He figures out Katon and Futon but needs handsigns to use at maximum potential- he still needs some weaknesses after all ;)

He’s a frontliner, a tracker, an assassin, a rescuer, an infiltrator, ANBU operative, and more. His abilities become so widespread and he can fill in pretty much any spot needed. He has a ninjutsu mastery better than anyone before, taijutsu second only to Gai, genjutsu he can break out of relatively easily and trap into up to B rank with a few A rank genjutsus as well. His kenjutsu is mastered by using the Hatake style and his bukijutsu almost never misses. He has adequate medical skills, mostly first aid that will hold over until a real medic can help. His mind rivals a Nara’s, intellect and strategy through the roof. He’s a great leader but only an okay teacher. His ninken pack is always there as back up. He doesn’t have to deal with the constant chakra drain from the Sharingan so he has chakra reserves that he keeps growing until they stabilize to around Kage level.

I’d like a story where he’s powerful like that but closed off, not letting anyone else in because he’s traumatized by everyone leaving before he’s even 8 (age difference*). His Jonin sensei persona as an always late, porn reading, not all that powerful old man will be just an act and once the team is over he goes straight back into ANBU where his actual persona as an unbeatable, closed off, powerful, bloodthirsty, control the room with his very presence, totally could be commander but believes he could do so much more as an operative, ANBU Captain takes back over. He stays like that until Sakura (or someone else) who he though of as the weakest on team 7 but ends up as the strongest, joins ANBU at age 15** and catches his attention at age 17 when she saves her team by killing a group of 40 invisible enemy nin. He wants her on his team and she joins Team Ro. The most dangerous missions go to Team Ro. Everyone wears a mask and most wear henge to keep identities secret and hide identifiable traits (like pink hair) but Kakashi doesn’t bother because he’s badass. They don’t know who each other actually are under the masks. Kakashi and Sakura end up having angry sex a lot (hidden from teammates) because they hate each other but they both lust after each other because they are attracted to strength and are both bloodthirsty. Eventually Kakashi finds out its Sakura he’s feeling angry and possessive over and they still have angry passionate sex but it slowly turns into sleeping over at each other’s places and helping clean off blood and stealing food and they start to care. They stay the same but they are each settled inside by the presence of someone who understands the life they live is tough but they are together. They probably eventually die together on the battlefield against extremely powerful opponents but they take them down with them and protect their comrades.

*the age difference: When Sakura is 12, Kakashi is 19. They don’t start having sex until Sakura is 18 and Kakashi is 25. They have both had sex before each other, I don’t want pressuring or underage, I want mutual angry sex where they take their frustrations out on each other through hot passionate fucks as adults with previous experience. Issues with aging: Kakashi is genin at 5, chunnin half a year later, jonin at 7. Looses Obito on first jonin mission, Rin half a year later, Minato and Kushina at 8 during Kyubii attack. Issues with student/teacher relationship: Sakura never considers Kakashi a teacher and Kakashi never consider Sakura a student. Kakashi writes her off as unimportant and a fangirl without bother to dig deeper when finding out her parents were civilians, he doesn’t know shes an orphan. He believes to be good you need to have motivation and he doesn’t believe she’s motivated at all. Sakura notices she’s pushed away and does her training by herself and Kakashi-sensei is just Kakashi.

**Sakura can have her own backstory like: having an older brother kill her parents when she’s 5 then kill himself and only survives because of luck. She is seen as weak because her fangirl persona, which is fake to keep people from getting close and finding her trauma, secrets (orphan, alone, etc) and how much of a genius she is. Once she realizes she needs more actual training and not just books she gets Tsunade to teach her and she becomes ruthless, and badass but wants to be better so she can always protect herself and Konoha, she joins ANBU so she won’t be weak again. She has tiger summons and genjutsu speciality. She weaponizes medical ninjutsu (able to kill by inserting her chakra into another’s system and messing around with it with her medical knowledge) and knows about poisons and pressure points. She has the seal on her forehead filled with chakra, the healing and the strength. She stabilizes around low Jonin level chakra reserves and perfect control. Her ninjutsu is mostly Water and Earth with a few Lighting (Kakashi’s influence) Her taijutsu is enough to spar with Lee for hours and often end up winning(eventually she’ll get the experience to sometimes win agains Gai, so her taijutsu is probably on par with Kakashi but with the strength she could take someone out with a brush of her hand) She knows kenjutsu and is excellent but not an expert like Kakashi until she gets taught by him. She can beat Kakashi (but not very often) by the time she reaches 20 (he would be around 28)

Kakashi is known as A and S ranked in Bingo books. He should be a lot more powerful than how he is portrayed. I want a story where he’s as good as he’s supposed to be. I don’t want his students to surpass him. He should be a really good sensei. He should make them work really hard to get up to standard then ever better. He can still be known as a lazy pervert but he was supposed to be in ANBU and he was supposed to be up for Commander position. I just want a story where Kakashi is really powerful and he uses his prodigy mind. He should find a way to turn his Sharingan on and off as well.

I love soulmate and soulmark stories, I’ve recently read ‘Soulmate Story Collection’ by ‘raendown’ which is basically a collection of soulmate stories from the Naruto Universe. There are a lot of good ideas of how you’ll meet your soulmate: reading thoughts, spirit animals, tatoos, can’t lie, etc. I’d love to read more good ones and there’s a lot of inspiration you can gather from reading raendown’s stories.

Someone gets reincarnated after their death and ends up in a world from a book or something, that they liked. It could be a self-insert or just a reincarnation of another character. Each time they die they end up in a new world, could be a series? They could start in a normal world then go to Harry Potter and Naruto and Twilight and Marvel and a bunch of other worlds and keep the abilities they gained from those worlds. Magic and Chakra and Superpowers etc.

Natasha Romanoff was born Natalya Lilian Potter. She was kidnapped and forced into the red room at age 4. At age 11 she started receiving letters and went to Hogwarts reporting back to the red room and training in the room of requirement. She returned in the summers to continue training and went through experiments. In her fourth year she defeats Voldemort and in her fifth year destroys all his horcruxes. During her sixth year she takes her NEWTS and graduates. She stays with the red room for two years then escapes at age 18 (1 1/2 years after graduating hogwarts)when realizing she could have a better life and not be an assassin for the red room. She became a merc for hire and got on SHIELDS radar. Hawkeye brought her in and after years of friendship and building trust she explains her whole past.

She meets Black Widow (age 20) and joins STRIKE Team Delta (at age 17?). Her weapon speciality is some type of African Sword. She becomes an Avenger (codename: Viperslash?)
