Last few days, just before the semester ended, You handed me over a fire of which I no longer could be recovered.   Burnt was my heart, when your eyes reached mine. A fool–yes, I am when I return a smile elucidated so bright.   I knew right then and there, You successfully, barged in my ice cold heart.

Why do almost everything you do seems so authentic? And your words be nothing less of being cryptic?

Paz Marquez-Benitez, one of the most respected Filipino writers that we had. I hope sooner or later, one that is close to be creating works like hers would be recognized in the generation that we have now. Geez. She’s one of the rare ones.
