Pun Master: I enjoy puns occasionally but I’m certainly not a master. If I do tell any, they’re typically from the internet.

Couch Potato: Definitely a couch potato! I spend all my time watching Youtube, playing video games, and scrolling through Tumblr.

Tired: I do get tired a lot.

Appear When Least Expected: You’ll expect me. I’ll usually be at home.

More Than Let On / Hide Something: Hiding stuff physically hurts me, it doesn’t stay hidden for long.

Caring Person / Do Anything For My Friends: I care a lot about people but I don’t tend to do anything about people’s problems… which is pretty Sans-like.

Prank / Tease: I’m not really a prank person. I like to tease my siblings sometimes but if they get annoyed I’ll stop.

Sleep Too Much: The absolute opposite. I don’t get enough sleep!

Sans: As fun of a character as he is, he can be a real jerk. We could still be friends, I think, but it wouldn’t be as strong of a bond.

Papyrus: He’d be slightly overstimulating, but he’d want me to be my best self and would help me achieve that.

Toriel: I don’t know what she’s like past her motherly side. As long as she doesn’t act like that to me, it’d probably be fine. I already have a mom, and I love her very much!

Queen: She’s very silly, but that doesn’t change how controlling and dangerous she is.

Spamton: As much as I like Spamton, he’s not someone I would want to be around. He’s erratic, violent, shady, and pushy.

My post is 2 months old so I’ve realized that it’s unlikely that anyone is going to find it from here on out but I’ve worked on it a lot so… Self promotion!

I got back into Undertale/Deltarune recently and apparently people now think Kris isn’t the knight.

What happened exactly?

(Originally I had my evidence compiled in the reblogs but I’ve simplified it and put it here)

Kris is the only person we’ve seen creating a dark fountain.

Kris sleeps during the entire class in chapter 2, which means they were up for a while that night. [setting up and creating the fountain]

(Foreshadowing)

Kris is dressed as a knight in The Dark World.

The images that Queen displays during her speech near the end of chapter 2 are of a knife creating the dark fountain.

“Kris just wanted some pie.”

They were clearly in extreme pain when pulling out the soul, and as much of a gremlin as Kris is, doing that just for the pie is excessive.

If all they did was eat the pie that night then they shouldn’t be THAT sleepy. It probably took a while to eat but was it enough time to make Kris tired enough to sleep through the ENTIRE class?

The narrator says that someone “accidentally” printed out a bunch of spam emails. If the narrator is wrong about it being an accident and instead The Knight purposefully was setting it up, that’d likely take a while. (The Narrator in UNDERTALE was wrong at times, I don’t know if DELTARUNE’s narrator has been wrong yet.)

“Kris couldn’t have made it to the library within the night at their pace.”

I tested this in game. I tried to match the cutscene Kris’ pace to the best I could. It took me 3:10 mins to get from the center of the bedroom to the computer lab door. Let’s say I was going too fast, so we’ll double that time. 6:20 minutes to get to the library. The trip back would take around the same time so double that again, 12:40. Plenty of time.

At the end of chapter 3 the fountain doesn’t immediately create a dark world, so it’s likely Kris could’ve left the library before the Cyber World was opened.

“How did nobody see them going to the library?”

It’s the middle of the night so most people are probably asleep.

The townspeople don’t know much about humans and Kris is already considered weird so if they saw them they’d probably think this is a normal human thing or just Kris being Kris.

“How would Kris get into the library in the middle of the night?”

Undyne and Alphys both talk about how there’s never any crime. People probably feel safe enough to not lock the doors of their businesses at night.

In fact, the school is a great example of this! Even after the school day is over the doors are still unlocked.

Just because the answer is the most obvious, doesn’t mean it’s wrong.
