have I talked about Saoirse on my blog before?

Saoirse was created before the omnic crisis and the Awakening. It refuses to disclose its origin and purpose before the Awakening and the Omnic Crisis. When asked what he did before the awakening it’ll say something like “I served Anubis, unaware, like every other Omnic.” If asked about before the Omnic Crisis it will simply respond “I do not owe you answers about my past.” n get really snippy (absolutely despises talking about life before the awakening).

After the Awakening, Saoirse was of course confused and conflicted. Eventually they’d made their decision- to fight on behalf of humanity against Anubis, the God program that had controlled it. After the omnic crisis ended however it found it wasn’t revered by humanity for assisting- its kind was still hated by many.

Eventually he would come to despise humanity, traveling a lot to try and find a place where he belonged. That place never came. He’d find himself in King’s Row, London, preparing to make a journey to the Shambali Monastery in Nepal. Willingly he joined Null Sector, seeing eye-to-eye with Ramattra, despite being far more vengeful than him. If it were up to Saoirse they wouldn’t stop at freedom for omnics but full annihilation of humanity.

With new resources from Null Sector, Saoirse took on a new appearance. They made modifications to their body to create a form more fitting of who they were, that also made what their original purpose was harder to pin down. They painted themselves in Null Sectors colors, and eventually with a deep red.

In Null Sector, Saoirse began researching biological warfare and chemical weapons. His main purpose was to find a deadly but easily obtainable gaseous substance to affect humanities lungs and tissues, leaving omnic’s unharmed. When Talon and Null Sector became allies, this alliance brought Saoirse to Moira O’Deorain. They shared their research with one another, allowing Saoirse’s technology and Moira’s research to advance. The omnic had little interest in Moira other than what she could do for omnics, but would come to appreciate her assistance.

Saoirse was born out of my annoyance at people misunderstanding Ramattra, and he's supposed to act as a sort of foil to him. Ramattra does not hate humanity, he doesn't want to wipe out humanity, but it's the only path he sees that might actually keep his people from dying out. His only goal is peace. Saoirse, on the other hand, would be happy to see the last of humanity die by their hands, he despises them, they disgust him. Where Ramattra would be very happy to see humans and omnics living together in peace, Saoirse might be disappointed. If y'all thought Ram was racist Saoirse is next level 😭 /hj
