after graduation, she only stayed in boston for another two weeks before packing up her bags and moving to the seattle area. no goodbyes said, her apartment in an uhaul and just open road - she drove to the coast herself as "live laugh love" period which only made her settle into therapy eventually upon settling down.

while she remains close to her parents (for the most part) and loves her siblings with her whole being, she's always had a mindset that she would eventually go in search of her biological parents despite knowing that blood does not make family.

during the first week in aurora bay, she hired a private investigator to begin the search for her biological family.

while she knew that remaining a journalist was not the most stable position in the world, it was the job that made her the happiest. she knew she wanted to write and do investigative journalism from the moment that she joined the yearbook club in high school.

plus, her father would be too happy if he found out that she was currently studying for the bar exam; it would only add pressure to her.
