We will also have a small Q+A to answer some small questions you rockstars have for us so everyone is prepared for sign ups!

How much knowledge should I have about One Piece in order to sign up?

You do not need to be caught up to either the anime or manga to participate, we will gladly welcome anyone to the project. However, we would like contributors keep in mind that there will be spoilers included in the zine that are unavoidable.

Will there be a discord server for us to interact with everyone? Or to interact with the writers if someone is a spot artist?

Yes, there will be a discord server that all contributors will be required to join for this zine so that everyone can interact with each other.

Does everyone need to submit a portfolio? What is required?

Yes, everyone is required to submit a portfolio as we want to make sure there are no joke applications (anyone who signs up just to see if they get in but does not join the project). However, since this is a sign-ups zine, there will be no grading involved in acceptance-- the portfolio will only be graded when deciding the cover artist.

That being said, there is no strict guidelines to the portfolio-- we recommend having at least three of your best pieces, but if you don't have three pieces, that's okay! Just submit what you have :)

If you are just starting out and have no works whatsoever, just let us know-- we want everyone to have a chance in this zine, which is why we are doing our best to avoid joke applications.
