The mention of a pizza and instant ramen diet was almost disheartening. Staring into his eyes, she replied, “your body needs energy to repair itself and you need to give it good energy through a decent diet. How many times will I have to tell you to take care of yourself.”

“At least a hundred.” He smiles back, though his features have gone soft. 

“I’ll try to get out of the habit, I promise... But I’m not giving up Pizza by any means... Though I may switch to healthier versions.”

He settles down at the table, motioning for her to join him.

Zombie didn’t mind her sneaking in during the day so much, but was definatly shocked to come home to the smell of seafood wafting through his apartment, along with the sight of his table set for a meal.

She sighed before flicking the older hero repeatedly on the forehead. “If. You. Cared. More. You. Wouldn’t. Look. Like. A. Raggedy. Andy. You don’t have to look like a Picasso if you gave just 20% more care about your temple.”

Sighing softly, she let his jacket go, “I guess I’ll be the best devotee you’ll ever have then.”

He flinched at the flicks, more out of instinct than pain, as his senses were a bit less than most humans.

“Raggedy Andy? Nah that’s just cuz of my ratty coat.” He hums, putting out his cigarette under his heal, before tossing it into the trash bin. 

“And I can’t always control if the monsters tear me up and I come out looking that way.”

“Hmm, sure, just don’t start bowing at my feet, and we’ll be fine.” He chuckles lightly.

“I suppose I can understand that... Wait, does that mean you can turn into an actual cat too?” He asks, pulling on a hoodie over his tanktop and adjusting his sweatpants so he wasn’t walking on the cuffs.

He stepped out into his kitchen, turning on the light and rummaging around for the teapot to heat water, and hunting down his hot chocolate mix, setting it on the counter before filling the pot and placing it on the stove top.
