None of that first paragraph is cannon as far as were told. There's a sentence in escape plan where Ratthi say Gurathin/Gurathin's ancestors weren't on the original ship that established preservation. Unless there's further extrapolation in short stories about Gurathin I haven't seen, being CR is a popular fan interpretation. There's no reason you couldn't interpret that sentence to mean his parent showed up later than the ship either before he was born or when he was too young to remember most of his time in a potential CR upbringing.

Also Im respectfully asking you reconsider referring to MB or any of its behaviors as being that of a "stubborn tiny child", since Secunits struggles and behaviors are heavily based on things Autistic people share or struggle with and don't deserve to be infantilised.

@agrioxoiros where Gurathin came from is a little more ambiguous than the rest of presaux. There was a part in exit strategy where Ratthi explains the ship attached to the preservation station to MB where he says All our grandparents came to preservation on that ship!! Except for Gurathins grandparents, they came later. I learned from this post that this meant a lot of ppl took that to mean that G grew up in the corporate rim, but there is no actual timeline or confirmation. All we really know is that his grandparents weren't on the preservation colony ship, his grandparents could have showed up a little later than that started a family on preservation OR they could have found and immigrated to preservation after G was born. Since Ratthi said Gs grandparents came later and not that Gurathin came later, I thought that meant it was pretty clear that Gurathin was born and raised preservation, cause why would Ratthi not just say Gurathin came later to MB if he knew he grew up in the corporate rim. Either interpretaion could be right tho like I said it's ambiguous.
