reading anna karenina for the sole purpose of living vicariously through the life of a socially awkward lovelorn farmer
“Where’s Levin?!” I cry as I continually forget that the main character of Anna Karenina is in fact Anna Karenina.

“theatrics over pragmatism always” is the true and only theme, starring both edmond dantes and albert de morcerf
*opens my mouth* *taps the mic with my teeth* *clears throat* “revenge is bad” is absolutely not a theme in the count of monte cristo (1844)

i am hyperventilating. i am never going to breath again. goodbye
Hi my name is Raskolnikov Dark'ness Dementia Raven Romanovich and I have messy dark blond hair (its like almost brown but not) with lighter blond streaks and dark brown eyes like the trash apartment I live in and a lot of people tell me I look like my sister Dunya (AN: if u don’t know who she is get da hell out of here!). I’m not related to Napoleon but I wish I was because he’s a major fucking hottie. I’m a superior human who lives above the law but the local authority doesn’t understand me. I have pale sickly skin. I’m nihilistic (in case you couldn’t tell) and I wear mostly rags. I love the garbage and I buy all my clothes from there. For example today I was wearing a filthy undershirt with a matching coat around it and torn dirty pants, bloody socks and shoes with holes in them. I wasn’t wearing any makeup because I am naturally perfect. I was walking outside St. Petersburg. It was snowing and raining so there was no sun, which I was very happy about. Porfiry was staring at me. I put up my middle finger at him.

Could you rant about Mrs. Villefort?
ohohohohohohh
my favourite Poisonous Lady.
I love Héloïse?? like more as a character than as a person of course but
she’s just such a fascinating character omg she’s just???
so well written??
(like all of the women in this book really)
I just. love her so much.
and even though she actually kills many people ((somehow she’s the character who murders the most people)) her ending was so terrible and oh God
the final scene.
the final scene. the confrontation between her and Villefort.
ohgodohgodohgod ohgod it makes my hair stand on end every. single. time.
I don’t even know what to think of her because yeah she’s terrible but she didn’t kill those people out of sheer malevolence (I think she actually cared about Valentine and still tried to poison her) she just?? did it for her son?? so that he could inherit something??
and honestly her killing her son because “a good mother doesn’t go anywhere without her child” is,,, azgdzfz
gosh it kills me.
and Edouard was actually pretty fucking smart!!! annoying but smart!!!
It’s just. oh Héloïse.
anyways I literally love all the women in this book and I’d lay down my life for each and every one of them – except La Carconte.
