Before and after front 4 teeth. This was a case that originally was posted 2 months ago. The above picture shows 4 crowns that violated the patients biologic width. Biologic width is defined as the distance between the base of the gingival pocket and the patients bone. The patients gums were red and tender all the time. Crowns were removed and the inflammatory tissue was removed and new temps were made. The patient healed for 8 weeks, impressions were taken and new crowns were made by @venetian.smile. Patient came back for recall. Sometimes the most subtle changes can improve someone’s smile. A patient came in for a second opinion regarding veneers. Looking at his smile only one tooth was longer in the smile line. Instead of drilling teeth for a cosmetic result we achieved the same result by recontouring that one single tooth.
