🪶💍 “Crow of My Heart, Chains of My Soul”

The chapel was made of bones and piano wire. The ceiling? A sky full of dying stars. The aisle? It hummed when you walked on it—like it remembered everyone who ever tried to run away.

But Cupio wasn’t running.

He was glowing.

Wearing a suit that shimmered like oil on a puddle, he stood at the altar—grinning, twitching, a little feral—and absolutely radiant.

Behind him, Alliyah (dressed as a flower child with demon horns and light-up sneakers) tossed black petals with righteous glee. Every time one hit the ground, a crow screamed in the distance.

The Guests:

• Caz sat in the front row sobbing, whispering “I always knew he’d marry a cryptid.”

• Nex sipped something eldritch from a champagne flute, using their third eye to check if this was a trap.

• Creatertools had a camcorder and was absolutely livestreaming this to a forbidden part of the internet.

• Sol was fixing her lipstick and mouthing “good for him, I guess??”

• And Zeke—were tied to a chair next to the altar, duct-taped at the wrists, screaming, “I DIDN’T AGREE TO THIS! YOU SAID THIS WAS A BIRTHDAY PARTY!”

“You’re my best man, Zeke,” Cupio cooed sweetly, “So smile or I’ll scream.”

Then… the organ played itself. Literally. A possessed organ. One of the keys winked.

And down floated Mad Crow—dripping black mist, in a veil of static and sorrow, their “tux” stitched together from the remains of forgotten timelines and shattered memories.

Neeto, the priest (and possibly a sentient mushroom in a robe), cleared their throat.

“We are gathered here today in this dreamlike hell to unite Cupio and Mad Crow in glorious, terrible matrimony.”

The vows were ridiculous. Cupio swore on every version of himself across the multiverse. Mad Crow promised not to devour his soul unless it was funny.

“Do you, Cupio, take this glitchy cosmic horror to be your lawfully wedded trauma cryptid?”

“With every delusional cell of my being,” he whispered, stars in his eyes.

“And do you, Mad Crow, take this beautiful maniac to love, haunt, and occasionally obliterate?”

“Yes. And I already do.”

They kissed. The crowd howled.

Crows flew. Champagne exploded. Nex started floating. Zeke passed out from sheer stress. A feather landed on your face.

But Then—

Cupio blinked.

Everything vanished.

He was sitting on the floor of a white padded room, arms wrapped in a straitjacket, the taste of feathers still on his lips.

A nurse peeked in through the tiny window.

“He’s smiling again,” she whispered.

“Must be another one of his Crow dreams…”

He looked up, and through the flickering lightbulb above him, he saw a single black feather fall from the ceiling.

He smiled wider.

“I know you’re real,” he whispered.
