🌲1969/1970 The North Face Sierra Parka This was a gift from my homeboy @topsnbottomsvintage .Since I have recieved it, I have been digging up information on it. To my understanding, which is fairly limited, this would have been manufactured in the first 2 years of operation out of Berkeley CA. 1969 was the first year they released the Sierra Parka. When 1971 rolled around the federal trade commission created care label regulations. This jacket has no care labels. These are the only two large tells that are absolute as far as I'm aware. ❄ Features non embossed snaps, coated Omni zipper, ripstop outershell, adjustable sleeve cuff snaps, small brown label tag in both the jacket and removable hood.
