Marbles & Confessions
Thanos x Reader
Summary: Thanos was your brother's best friend when you were younger and now you're meeting again in the games. You choose Thanos as your partner in the marbles game.
Warnings: It's the marbles game. You KNOW what to expect.
A/N: I genuinely still don't understand the rules of this game so i'm not describing them play it in any detail either lmao (but they play it while they chat ok).
☆☆☆
"What do you say, señorita?" Thanos asked, appearing next to you and putting his arm around your shoulder. "Wanna be my partner for this game?"
"And why should i?"
"C'mon, we make such a great team," Thanos insisted, pulling you harder against his side.
You narrowed your eyes. "I think i prefer someone else. Play with Nam-gyu."
"But i wanna play with you," Thanos whined like a little kid not getting what he wanted.
You let out a sigh and rolled your eyes. "Fine, whatever."
When you heard the rules and the outcome of the game right before it was about to start, your heart stopped for a moment and you suddenly forgot to breathe.
The game was played in pairs, just you and Thanos, but only one of you was going to live and move on to the next game. Either you or Thanos had to die.
You made eye contact with Thanos but couldn't tell what he was exactly thinking by the expression on his face. One thing you knew at least was that he didn't seem happy about it at all, no. More like shocked, might have been even terrified.
"Well, i definitely didn't expect it to be like this," you chuckled, trying to keep the situation light and less serious than it actually was. "You or me, huh?"
Thanos had had quite a good time during the games, in his own sick way and being under the influence of drugs, but suddenly the games weren't so fun anymore. This time he was completely sober too; he needed to be sober every time he was around you.
Thanos looked around the area, seeing the shock and misery on other people's faces too, those few he could see. Nobody had expected anything like this to happen. Thanos looked towards one of the guards.
"Hey, is this a fucking joke?" he shouted, growing angry.
You slapped him on the chest. "Shut up, that's not going to help."
Thanos took a deep breath and rubbed his face. This could not be happening right now.
"Let's just play, shall we?" you suggested, trying to ignore the inevitable that was mere minutes away from you – the death of either you or Thanos.
Neither of you knew what to say for the first five minutes or so as you started to play the game, sitting on the ground in front of each other cross-legged. The silence between the two of you was the most awkward than you had ever experienced.
"Now that one of us is going to die, i need to admit something to you," you said, breaking the thick and suffocating silence. You had to say something, anything, to break the ice. You couldn't spend these last minutes like this and you definitely needed to talk about something else than anything related to these games you were in. Forget for a moment that all of this was your current reality.
Thanos furrowed his eyebrows, confused what it could be.
"I was the one to leave that fake love letter into your locker on a Valentine's day just to tease you," you admitted. "I just framed the other kid in class to be the guilty one."
"I knew you had something to do with it! It reminded way too much like your handwriting," Thanos said. Or maybe he just imagined that it resembled your handwriting since a part of him wished it would have been written by you. "How did you even come up with that in the first place?"
"We were just pranking you with my friends. It was my friend's idea," you explained. "Any confessions you want to make?" A smirk spread on your face as you looked into his eyes. "Now's the time to embarrass yourself since the other is going to take them to the grave anyway soon."
"Well," Thanos sighed, trying to think. "When we were 14 years old, i was the one to write note which would help me cheat in the math exam and let you get the blame for it."
"I already knew that."
"You did?"
"It was pretty obvious. Besides, i heard you talking about it with my brother," you stated.
"You're not mad, huh?'' he asked, raising his eyebrows. He had been prepared for you to get upset since you were proud of your schoolwork earned with many sleepless nights. At least that's what it had seemed like to Thanos.
"Nah, i was cheating on that exam too anyway," you admitted and shrugged.
"Damn, and i thought you were such a perfect hardworking student," Thanos smirked.
"I have flaws too," you pointed out. "So, give me the next one."
"It's your turn," he resisted.
"That doesn't count because i was already aware of it," you argued. "So, another one."
"Fine," Thanos sighed. "Well. One time when i was staying the night at your house with your brother, i might have stolen your bra from your room."
"You what?" you shrieked, eyes widening. You threw one of your marbles on his face, managing to hit him right under his left eye, making him flinch.
"Hey, i was a horny 15 year old guy and you were going through puberty very fast," Thanos tried to reason, throwing the marble back to you, making it land on your lap. "It was laying on the floor like you were even trying to make me notice it."
"How many times did i tell you to stay out of my room?" you groaned. "I did not leave it there on purpose for you!"
"I returned it after a day or two though!" Thanos defended himself, afraid you were going to throw another marble at him and this time actually hit his eye.
"You're unbearable," you muttered.
Thanos always found it amusing when he could get you mad, he had loved teasing you since day one of meeting you. Even right now he found it hard to keep a smile from rising on his face when you were all heated up.
"Fine, i guess i have to admit that i once took your bag of weed from your bag when we were 17," you admitted.
"That was you?" Thanos asked, now being the one to raise his voice at you. "I was looking everywhere for it!"
"We had a girl's night and needed some entertainment." You shrugged like it was no big deal but clearly for Thanos it definitely was a big deal.
"I payed a lot of money for that, you know," Thanos argued, for a moment looking all upset which made you chuckle.
You and Thanos told a few more confessions, making each other both laugh and turn shocked. Then, one thing popped into your mind what you had never dared to tell anyone else than your best friend.
"You know what's a little silly though," you started, suddenly turning a little shy.
"Hm?"
"I used to have a little crush on you when we were kids," you admitted.
Thanos raised his eyebrows, genuinely surprised. "What, really?"
"Yeah, i know it's dumb," you chuckled. "I just thought you were, hm, cute and cool and it was so exciting to have a crush on 'my brother's best friend' because that felt so forbidden, ya know?" You played with the marbles in your hand, twirling them between your fingers. "Not that i'd have ever done anything about it, even if i had gotten the chance."
I had a crush on you too, was what Thanos would have wanted to say. He did like you, but he had decided to hide it from you and everyone else. Of course he wasn't allowed to lay even a finger on you – your brother was always extremely strict that Thanos had to keep his hands away from his dear little sister. So he did and only kept teasing you and watched you from the distance when you thought he wasn't looking into your way.
"I knew you wouldn't be able to resist the mighty Thanos," he joked instead, straightening his back to appear taller.
You rolled your eyes. "I liked Su-bong, not Thanos."
He went silent for a moment, examining your face for a moment while being in his own thoughts. During these games and these past few days, Thanos hadn't truly stopped to properly look at your face with more detail. Stopped to realize how beautiful you had actually grown up to be. Well, you had always been pretty, very pretty, but now, even without makeup, you were gorgeous, all grown up. No trace of that moody teenager and his best friend's sister Thanos knew you as.
"What?" you asked, starting to feel unease under his intense stare.
"Nothing," he chuckled and looked away, continuing the game.
"Well, your turn," you urged.
Thanos gave it a proper thought, choosing what to confess – there were still a lot left now that Thanos started to actually think about it, and he wouldn't have enough time to go through all of them. Some of them smaller and more innocent things while some of them were much more deeper and personal which Thanos had a hard time to admit to you, even now in your last moments.
"When you and my family went for the skiing trip together when we were 16, i was assigned the same room as you to spend the few nights in," he explained. "I changed it last minute because i could see that your brother didn't like the idea of me staying alone with you for a very long time, even if it was just for the night."
"Why would he care?"
"He could tell i found you attractive and i guess he was afraid i'd make a move on you and end up hurting you," he explained and shrugged.
You could feel your cheeks warm up a little. "You thought i was attractive?"
Not just thought – think.
"Like every other guy in our class," he stated. "You have no idea how many dudes actually thirsted over you behind your back."
"Shut up, they did not," you laughed, feeling your cheeks turn pink.
"Oh they definitely did," Thanos confirmed, completely serious.
This was probably the first time you had properly had conversation with Thanos, just the two of you, and had genuinely a good time. Before he used to just tease you and didn't stay alone with you for a very long time. You liked this, feeling like he was now a different person compared to before. Well, back then he had been just a stupid teenager, now he was an adult. Although, you had seen him play these games, not taking them as seriously as the others, and could still see some of that young boy you knew years ago.
You would have wanted continue this for the rest of the day, but sooner than you expected, the time of the game ran out. You hadn't even realized how much time had passed and how it had suddenly ran out, just like that.
In the end, you were the one to lose the game.
You lost. You. Fucking. Lost.
"Well," you sighed and forced a wide smile on your face, trying to fight tears from filling up your eyes. You let out a nervous chuckle and tried to hide the fact from Thanos that you were, in fact, absolutely fucking terrified of what was going to come next. "This is it, i suppose."
You looked directly into Thanos' eyes, seeing them starting to glimmer from tears as well.
Thanos felt his throat tighten, like someone was choking him, and his stomach being filled with bricks. His heart was heavy, like it was turned into a stone. He couldn't believe this was happening.
"Y/N," Thanos mumbled, not knowing what to say. He could tell your smile was fake. Tell that you were so, so scared just by the look in your eyes. The tears that were about to run down your cheeks but you wanted to act strong and pretend that it was alright.
Thanos wanted to hug you. Pull you against him and squeeze you so hard your bones would be crushed and you wouldn't be able to breathe. Feel every part of you with his hands and try to remember your smell. Never let go. But he couldn't get his body to move.
"What, don't tell me you're going to start crying over me?" you joked to lighten up the situation but Thanos found nothing funny about that right now.
He clenched his jaw, not able to believe that this was actually real right now. That this was all over between you and him. Thanos had gotten used to you always being there, somewhere on the side, but now you were going to be ripped away from him. Even if you hadn't been a part of his actual life, you had been there somewhere, existing and living your life.
"It's okay, Su-bong," you whispered, taking a step closer to him and turning more serious now. You took his hands in yours, realizing how they had started to shake, and softly brushed his knuckles with your finger. "One of us has to die, right?"
You using his real name was like another twist in his heart. He didn't hear it often anymore and when he did, it felt so much more personal. You never called him Thanos, but now he'd never hear you call him by either of the names anymore.
"It's okay?" Thanos scoffed. "It's not fucking okay."
"Just, do me a favor if you get out of here?" you asked.
"A favor?"
"Can you... can you go and tell my mum and my brother that i've passed away," you pleaded. "I don't want them to think that i cut them out of my life on purpose. That i didn't care about them anymore."
Thanos didn't say anything back, the words were stuck in his throat like they were nailed there. All he could do was to nod. He would do anything you asked him to do. However, he had no idea how he would able to tell the news to them. That the daughter and the sister had died and they could never even see your body anymore.
Thanos had never, ever hugged you but right now, he had to. Had to embrace you one last time.
But a guard stepped between you and Thanos just before Thanos managed to pull you into a hug, separating you from each other.
"Time's up," the guard ordered behind the mask.
"Please, just one more second and –" you insisted but was interrupted.
"I said, time's up," the guard repeated a little louder and pressed the tip of the rifle against Thanos' shoulder, making him take a few steps back.
You swallowed, taking more distance to Thanos but still facing him. Tears had started to stream down your cheeks without you even noticing.
Thanos wanted to run towards you and wrap his arms around you, right now not caring if he got shot as well. Maybe that was a good way to go. You and him together, that would have been easier. Saved the pain of losing someone that would only get worse and worse as the time passed.
But he didn't do that. He stood there still, not moving a muscle, not believing that this was real. This was all a dream, right? No, this was a nightmare. Wait, surely this was just a hallucination from the drugs. This wasn't real, of course it wasn't. It couldn't be.
You were standing there with a smile on your face and cheeks wet from tears, looking Thanos directly into his eyes while having the rifle pointed at your head.
"I'm glad that i got to spend my final moments with you, Su-bong," you said with that sweet smile that always made Thanos' heart skip a beat. "You've always been a pain in the ass but i'm glad the last face i see before i die is yours."
The gunshot was louder than Thanos first expected, making him flinch and even almost jump in the air. He was meant to turn around so he wouldn't see your dead body lying on the ground but his feet were glued on their places and body too stiff to be able to move. Blood was pouring out of the hole in your head, eyes staring ahead lifelessly.
Player 163, eliminated.
☆☆☆
When the players were sent back to the dorm, Thanos didn't say another word. Nam-gyu tried to talk to him but Thanos just ignored him, not paying any attention to him at all.
The dorm was much more quiet than usual in general; people had lost their loved ones, having chosen their friend to play with.
And he had lost you. He had let you die to save his own life. He could have sacrificed himself and let you live; you would have had a lot brighter future ahead of you than Thanos would ever have.
Thanos got up and marched towards the bathroom.
He leaned against the sink and looked at himself in the mirror. Looked into his own eyes. That reflection was the last thing you saw before you were killed. He was the reason you were dead, the reason why the guard shot you in the head. You were now dead because he was a fucking coward.
Anger and fury filled Thanos so much that he felt like he was going to explode. He punched the mirror with his fist so hard that it cracked in pieces. There was blood on his knuckles now, but he didn't care about the pain. Hell, he'd take all the pain possible if it meant you'd come back.
What a fucking idiot he was, being so selfish to let you die. Choosing his own life over yours.
"I'm sorry," Thanos whispered, squeezing the edge of the sink with his hands so hard his knuckles turned white under the blood. "I'm so, so fucking sorry."
He should have let you win, he should have lost on purpose. Why did he have to be so selfish? You deserved to live more than him. You were supposed to go home and live your life, not Thanos.
Suddenly, someone walked out of one of the stalls, looking at Thanos all shocked.
"Um, this is the girls' bathroom," the player 222 quietly said, feeling even a little scared of all the noise of cursing and breaking the mirror.
Thanos just looked at her for a moment, realizing his mistake, and left the bathroom without another word. He walked to your bed and sat on the edge of the mattress which you had slept on for the past few nights here.
Then, Thanos saw something peeking under the pillow. He leaned over to pick it up, recognizing it to be the hairpin you always had in your hair. He brought it closer to his face, examining it with more detail. This was the only memory of you that Thanos had. The only item which showed that you had once been here, that you had been real. That you had participated the games along with Thanos.
He opened the cross that was hanging from his neck and put the hairpin there among the remaining pills. He needed to have a part of you with him, even if it was just a simple fucking hairpin.
If he got another chance and could do things differently, he would change so, so many things. He would let you know how he felt about you, even if your brother would have beat him up for that and told him to stay away from you. He would have hugged you. Hell, maybe even kiss you.
But most of all, he would have chosen another player as his partner to play with those stupid marbles.
But of course there was no going back anymore.
Thanos didn't remember when was the last time he had properly cried but that night he burst out crying while everyone else was asleep around him, forcing him to muffle the sobs into his hand.
He wanted you there to comfort him, to rub his back and tell him it was all going to be okay. That he was going to live through this. That he'd be alright. That this pain inside him was going to go away at some point.
Just a moment ago you had laughed together about the memories you had of each other but now Thanos could never do it again. He wanted to make more memories with you.
Why did he have to realize how big part of his heart you actually were when you were already gone? He tried to imagine your face in his mind, looking at him with a wide smile, but the image quickly turned back to your dead body lying on the ground, no matter how hard Thanos tried to brush that sight away from his mind.
He didn't want to play this game anymore. Now he wanted to go back home more than anything else.

Too pretty to be dead
Nam-gyu x Reader
Summary: You're in the red team during hide and seek and need to kill someone to survive. However, you've never killed anyone and don't think you'd be capable for that – until Nam-gyu finds you. After the game, he decides that you owe him a little favor.
A/N: If i don't get someone to slam me against a wall before summer ends i might actually go insane.
♧♧
You were hugging your knees, back against the wall. The knife was resting next to you on the floor, clean and untouched. You wouldn't be able to kill another person, you couldn't do that; to intentionally snatch someone and stab them until they'd be dead.
You were not a killer and didn't want to become one either. Maybe now was your time to die. Why would your life matter more than someone from the blue team anyway?
Nam-gyu rushed into the next room with Myung-gi, the door already open. They had already killed two players but why stop there when there was still time? The only person in the room was a girl wearing a red vest and crying on the floor. At least she looked like she was crying.
"You've given up already, huh?" Nam-gyu smirked, looking at your way.
"Leave me alone," you mumbled and rubbed your face.
Nam-gyu exchanged glances with Myung-gi.
"You're just gonna let yourself die? Just like that?" Nam-gyu asked, raising his eyebrows.
You knew you must have looked pathetic. They had no problem stabbing and killing people but you were nothing like these two men in the room with you.
"Mind your own damn business," you spat and turned your head to look at him. His face was covered in blood, as were his hands and the knife.
Nam-gyu just sighed. "Alright, suit yourself," he said and turned around to leave. They were actually having fun playing this game and didn't want it to stop just yet.
After around five minutes, Nam-gyu and Myung-gi had driven a man in a corner of a room, having him on his knees begging for the two men to spare his life.
Myung-gi was already raising his knife in the air, ready to stab, but Nam-gyu quickly grabbed his wrist to stop him. Myung-gi looked at him with a confused look in his eyes what Nam-gyu was doing.
"Don't," Nam-gyu mumbled, making Myung-gi lower his hand. Although, before Myung-gi managed to question Nam-gyu what he was doing, Nam-gyu already started beating the shit out of the man with his fists. He beat the poor guy until he fell unconscious. Not dead yet, just passed out. "Help me drag him."
For some odd reason, Nam-gyu didn't want you to die, at least not right now. He wanted to see more of you.
They returned to the room, where you were still sitting on the floor, and threw the unconscious man on his stomach on the floor. You flinched out of the sudden noise and froze still when you saw Nam-gyu and Myung-gi return to you, now with a blue vested man who was beaten up quite severely but you could see his back moving as he took air into his lungs.
"Get up," Nam-gyu ordered.
"What?" you asked, furrowing your eyebrows.
"Get up and stab him," he specified and nodded towards the man.
Your eyes widened. "You brought him here so that i'd kill him? Why?"
"Time's running out, sweetheart."
When you showed no signs of getting up, Nam-gyu let out a frustrated sigh and walked towards you. You would have backed away from him but you were already leaning against the wall.
He grabbed your arm and harshly pulled you up on your feet, making you crash against his chest before gaining balance. He picked up your knife from the floor and pressed it on your palm, wrapping your fingers around the handle.
"Kill him. Made your job already a lot easier," he whispered, face awfully close to yours. He looked pissed off, frustrated.
You shook your head. "No, i can't."
"Yes, you can," Nam-gyu gritted between his teeth.
"No, I–"
"Y/N for fuck's sake, it won't take long," Nam-gyu groaned.
How did he know my name?
Then, Nam-gyu pulled you with him closer to the unconscious man, both of you now standing right next to him. Nam-gyu pushed you down on the floor on your knees, making you let out another sob from your mouth. You squeezed your eyes shut, hand still holding the knife.
"Nam-gyu, i really, really don't want to do this," you pleaded. "Just leave me alone."
"Fine, then i'll do it," Nam-gyu whispered.
At first, you were relieved but soon after you felt Nam-gyu wrap his arms around you from behind, his chest glued against your back. You opened your eyes, glancing over your shoulder just to meet Nam-gyu's face a mere inch apart from yours. He put his hands over yours, making you have a firm grip on the knife which had its sharp tip pointed down towards the man's back.
The man was just starting to stir awake, mumbling something under his breath when Nam-gyu lifted your hands in the air and slammed the knife into the man's back.
Player 401, pass.
Your entire body was shaking, eyes getting filled with tears. Nam-gyu could feel and sense that, still wrapped around you. For fuck's sake, don't you dare to start having a panic attack right now, Nam-gyu thought.
You dropped the knife on the floor when Nam-gyu pulled you up to stand on your feet.
"Hey, hey, look at me," Nam-gyu said with a slightly softer tone in his voice, trying to get your attention. Then, since you didn't look at him, he grabbed your jaw with his hand and forced you to make eye contact with him. "You gotta toughen up if you wanna get back home. If he," Nam-gyu pointed at the dead man next to you, "was wearing the red vest instead of you, you would be lying on your own pool of blood. Would you want that, huh?"
"No," you mumbled.
"What was that?"
"No, i wouldn't want that," you whispered, tears in your eyes but you tried your hardest not to burst out crying right now in front of him.
"That's what i thought," Nam-gyu whispered. You could feel his hot breath hit your face by now, he had been slowly inching closer and closer to you until there was only a small gap left between your noses. "Now pull on that pretty smile on your face and get over it, we still have two more games to go."
Easier said than done, you thought.
♧♧
After the dinner and the votings, you approached Nam-gyu when he was alone by himself at his bunk.
"Why did you do that?" you asked, crossing your arms against your chest. Nam-gyu raised his eyebrows, not entirely sure what you meant. "Why did you help me kill that man? You could have just left me there alone."
Nam-gyu looked at you from head to toe. "Well, maybe i want to have one pretty face in the final game," he replied and shrugged, trying to act all cool but couldn't prevent the slight smile that spread on his face.
"Excuse me?" You narrowed your eyes and took a step closer to him, not entirely sure you'd heard him right. "You helped me because i'm 'pretty'?"
"What, you think i'd help some ugly 50 year old man like that?" Nam-gyu scoffed.
You turned your face away, afraid of blush rising on your cheeks and him making fun of you for being able to get you so flustered. Not many people had called you pretty before, not that you could recall. Hell, you didn't even consider yourself that good-looking, never had. But Nam-gyu seemed to see something in you that you didn't.
You didn't know what to say to that. "Well, thank you. Do i owe you a favor now or something?"
Nam-gyu narrowed his eyes and examined your face for a moment. His gaze was so intense that you had to turn your face away from him for a moment. What was going on in his head? He was an unpredictable man, you would have to be prepared for anything.
"A kiss," he eventually said.
"What?"
"You heard me," he smirked and pushed a strand of your hair behind your ear. "A kiss as the favor."
"I, uh," you stuttered, cheeks definitely red right now. "I have a boyfriend, just so you know."
It wasn't entirely true but not a lie either. Your relationship with him had been sort of on and off for the past year, and you knew there was no actual future with him – you were not going to start explaining all that to the man in front of you. The man who was suddenly cupping your left cheek with his hand.
"Yeah? Is he here now, hm?"
"Well, no, but–"
"What's the problem then? He doesn't have to know," Nam-gyu challenged and tilted his head.
"I'd rather not anyway," you managed to reply. Nam-gyu narrowed his eyes, but soon let go of you and took a step back.
You let out a breath of relief and turned around to quickly leave the awkward situation. However, before you'd manage to walk away, he grabbed your shoulders behind you, making you stand still.
"I'll get that kiss at some point," Nam-gyu whispered into your ear, sending shivers down your spine.
♧♧
At night, you weren't able to sleep. The fact that you had just killed someone with your own hands and had now someone's blood on them couldn't leave your mind.
Did he have children? A wife waiting for him at home? People who would miss him and you were the one to take him away from all that. Well, Nam-gyu made you do it, controlled your movements, but the knife was still in your grip.
You were curled up in a ball on your bed, mind racing. Of course you were glad to be alive and have a chance to return home but you felt dirty.
You just had to hope that this was the last time you'd have to kill someone like that.
♧♧
You were waiting for the fifth game, jump rope, to start the next day. Standing among the other players, you were getting more and more stressed.
You were absolutely terrified of heights.
"How about now, hm?" Nam-gyu asked quietly, having suddenly appeared next to you, making you flinch a little.
"What?"
"I think i deserve a 'good luck' kiss," he suggested with a smirk, quickly glancing at your lips.
"Are you serious?" you asked, raising your eyebrows.
"I'd never joke about kissing an attractive woman," he argued seriously.
Stop calling me pretty and attractive.
"Fine," you mumbled and pressed a quick kiss on his cheek.
"Aw, surely you can do better than that," Nam-gyu pouted.
"You wanted a kiss, you got your kiss," you stated and turned around, leaving him alone.
"What a tease," Nam-gyu mumbled and smirked, watching after you as you walked away.
The game went on, people moving across the bridge a few steps at a time. It all felt like the players were moving too slowly compared to how much time there was left but this was the fastest you could go.
As you were reaching the end of the bridge, confident that you would pass the game, one of the players standing on the platform had started pushing people off the bridge. They were only one step away from the finish line, but this man filled with greed of more money to him was killing the remaining players still playing the game.
You were starting to panic, only two players in front of you anymore; the man had already pushed three people down and he didn't seem to be willing to stop.
Nam-gyu wasn't against the idea at all – it actually amused him, even made him smile a little. Less players, more money. He didn't take part on the pushing, since the man seemed to handle it well enough.
However, when Nam-gyu saw you standing on the bridge, now only one person between you and the player 069, his face fell and something twisted inside his stomach. It was a strange feeling, something he couldn't explain.
Without another thought, Nam-gyu stepped forward and pushed the player 069 down, hearing only his screams that echoed in the room while he fell to the floor.
You were in such a shock of Nam-gyu doing that, that you almost forgot to jump on time. You did jump just in the last second but still a little too late, the rope hitting your ankle and making you lose your balance. You were just one step away from the finish line, so you managed to throw yourself forward just enough to grab the edge of the platform, now hanging in the air.
Fuck, it would be so embarrassing to die in the last second, just one step away, you thought, prepared to die. However, a hand grabbed your arm, ready to pull you up.
You looked up, seeing no other than Nam-gyu having a firm grip on your arm, squeezing it so hard it started to hurt.
Another player rushed to you as well, him along with Nam-gyu pulling you up on the platform too. When you were standing again, your legs were shaking like hell.
"You know, there are a lot easier ways to get my attention than act like a damsel in distress," Nam-gyu stated.
"I haven't asked for your help," you resisted and rolled your eyes, even though you were extremely thankful for him to save your life. "And i don't care to have your attention."
"Mhm," he hummed with a smug smile, amused how defensive you became. "A 'thank you' would still be nice."
"Well, thank you," you said and crossed your arms against your chest. "Why did you even do that?"
"I already told you, i wanna see a pretty face in the final game," he reminded you.
"Stop calling me pretty," you insisted.
"What do you want me to call you then?" he asked with a grin.
"I have a real name," you stated. You didn't want him to see what kind of effect he had on you with those little compliments, which probably didn't mean as much to him as they did to you.
"I'll keep the 'pretty face' for now," Nam-gyu decided and winked at you.
The game was soon over which meant that the remaining players, all 11 of them, were sent back to the dorm.
However, before you managed to reach the dorm and was left alone with Nam-gyu just for one moment, he stopped you.
"Not so fast," Nam-gyu said and grabbed your shoulder, pulling you back towards him.
"Huh?"
Before you could react, he pushed you against the wall next to you, pinning you there with his body against yours. Your eyes grew wider, completely taken aback of the turn of the events.
"Nam-gyu, what are you–"
You tried to push him away but he pinned both of your hands against the wall as well, his fingers wrapped around your wrists.
"I think you owe me another favor now," Nam-gyu said. "I did save your life again after all, didn't i?"
"W-what kind of favor?" you stuttered, though you were pretty sure what he meant.
Nam-gyu glanced at your lips, then brought his gaze back into your eyes. "The kiss on my cheek was very cute but i think i deserve a little more."
Your heart was now beating faster. How much more did he mean? To what extent? You didn't know this man, you had no idea what sort of things he was into.
"What are you... what are you going to do to me?" you asked, voice clearly trembling.
"Aw, no need to be so scared, sweetheart. I'll be good to you, yeah?" he assured you. He bit his lip and tilted your head up with his finger, brushing your lower lip with his thumb. His face was suddenly closer, the tip of his nose almost touching yours. "Now, can i get your permission to kiss you or not? Because i really, really want to do that right now."
Your heart skipped a beat and for a second you forgot how to breathe. For a moment you thought he was going to take you whether you wanted or not, but him asking for your final permission made you feel a little more at ease.
When you first saw him after the first game and as you played these games one by one, you would have never imagined to be in this situation as you were in right now.
You swallowed the lump in your throat and took a deep breath. Oh, what the hell, you're probably gonna die tomorrow anyway so what does anything matter at this point.
"Y-yes," you mumbled quietly.
"What was that?" Nam-gyu asked, though he had heard you just enough.
"Yes," you replied a little louder and with more confidence.
Not even a second passed after that when Nam-gyu's lips were already on yours, taking you into a deep kiss. He didn't hold back at all, no, he was taking all of you in. Hands were roaming up and down on your waist until settling to rest on your hips, keeping you hard against his body. You brought your hands on the back of his neck, brushing his hair with your fingers, tugging a few strands which made him moan into the kiss.
When you parted your lips just a little bit, he pushed his tongue inside your mouth. God, it had been such a long time since anyone had kissed you with this much passion and urgency. Kissed you like this was the last time you were ever going to see each other.
Nam-gyu broke the kiss just when you were starting to be out of breath, pulling his head back.
"Now, i think we're even," he smirked.
You could only stare at him with wide eyes, cheeks burning red, which amused Nam-gyu, making a large grin spread on his lips. He let go of you, but you couldn't get a word out of your mouth. What the hell were you supposed to say after a sudden make out session with a guy you barely knew?
You simply decided to go back to the dorm and leave him alone, but Nam-gyu wasn't entirely finished.
"Oh, one more thing," Nam-gyu said and pulled you back by grabbing your elbow, making you crash against his chest. He leaned towards the side of your head and whispered, "If you ever want to do that again, you don't have to wait for me to save your life."
With that, he let you go, and you quickly hurried away without saying anything back. You brushed your mouth on your sleeve and didn't look back, feeling Nam-gyu's piercing gaze on your back.
Nam-gyu wanted more of you, so much more, but he could tell that at the moment he wouldn't be able to go further than that with your consent. God, how much he wished he would have made a move on you much earlier and gotten to know you better.

Note
Just read your carry her fanfic and loves it! Can we get one with dae ho where reader is pregnant with his baby they have been together for a while and he carried her across the bridge because she’s like 9 month pregnant!
Just me and her now
Dae-ho x Reader
Summary: During the jump rope game, Dae-ho needs to carry his newborn child over the bridge – without you.
Warnings: Angst. Just a lot of angst, no comfort.
A/N: So this doesn't exactly follow the request but i couldn't figure out how carrying her pregnant would be possible and i needed angst 🥲
☆☆☆
Dae-ho was sitting on a bench, a baby in his arms. His baby. The next game was supposed to be simple: cross the bridge while jumping over a rope. Simple, as long as you would be able to keep your balance and not fall. The drop was insanely high, killing you instantly once you'd hit the floor.
The players were starting to step on the bridge, one by one, one after another, but Dae-ho wasn't able to even stand up from the bench. He was scared, way too scared to be able to handle this on his own.
He needed you, right now. He wanted you back. Please, come back to me, Dae-ho thought, even though he knew you'd never be with him again.
☆☆☆
MINGLE
The first two rounds of mingle went well enough but as you were in the small room with four other players, you felt your pants turn wet.
"Um, Dae-ho..." you mumbled, fearing for the worst.
His eyes widened when he realized what was happening.
"Wait, now?" he asked, horrified. No, no, no. This couldn't be happening right now, in the middle of a game.
Unfortunately, you nodded your head and right after felt your stomach cramping.
"Mhm," you mumbled and grabbed Dae-ho's shoulder to keep your legs from betraying you and making you fall.
Even though you were now literally in damn labor, starting to give birth, of course they didn't let you to stay out of the rest of the game. You weren't able to run to the room on your own anymore, needing Dae-ho and Gi-hun to drag you with them to the safety.
☆☆☆
HIDE & SEEK
"Y/N," Dae-ho gasped, eyes wide as he looked at your stomach, the large red stain on your blue vest.
"Dae-ho," you mumbled. "I don't feel so good."
Your legs betrayed you but Dae-ho managed to catch you before you'd hit the floor.
"Don't you dare to die on me now, Y/N," Dae-ho said, a threatening tone in his voice. "Don't you dare to leave me alone."
"Dae-ho..." you mumbled, feeling weaker and weaker as the seconds passed.
Player 412, eliminated.
☆☆☆
You were supposed to be here to take care of your baby. Dae-ho didn't know what the hell he was supposed to do, you were supposed to be here and help him. Guide him how to be a good dad, or dad at all. Did he even hold the baby in the right way?
Dae-ho pulled his hoodie off, trying to wrap it around the baby and figure out how to wrap it around himself too to keep a firm hold on her while he'd cross the bridge. His biggest fear was to accidentally drop her – he could never live with himself if he killed your baby for a little mistake.
"Here, let me help you," Jun-hee offered, sitting down next to him. She had noticed Dae-ho struggle with the baby and his hoodie, stepping in. "May i?"
Dae-ho only nodded, desperate for someone to help him.
"Are you doing alright?" Jun-hee asked, resting her hand on his shoulder. Of course she knew he was anything but alright, but she wasn't sure what else to say. She wanted to be there for him but he had been pushing everyone away whenever they'd try to get any words out of him.
"No, i'm not," he admitted, feeling tears rise into his eyes for the millionth time. "I'm not alright."
Every time even only your name echoed inside Dae-ho's head, he could have burst out crying. He couldn't get your face out of his head, blood on your cheek and skin turning pale until you took your last breath.
You were supposed to raise your child together, not leave Dae-ho as a single father. Sure, the chance of dying in these games was high, hundreds of players already dead, but he had never imagined that he would actually hold your dead body in his arms. Hold your corpse the way he was now holding your baby.
Now, Dae-ho had to do everything he could to protect your baby, to make sure she got back home safely. That he'd get home with her and be able to tell her all about her mother. How amazing you were, so kind and caring. If Dae-ho were to die as well, she'd never learn who her parents were.
Jun-hee wrapped her arm around Dae-ho's shoulder, giving it a short squeeze to let him know that she was there for him, whatever he needed. Jun-hee had become fond of you as well, you were the closest person Jun-hee had gotten to know during these games so it hurt her as well to see you die – though she knew Dae-ho was in much, much worse pain.
Dae-ho looked at his child and wondered how much she'd turn to look like you as she'd grow up. How clearly he'd see your face on hers. Fuck, he wasn't able to do this. He couldn't do this.
Dae-ho could feel how people were staring at him, piercing holes into his back. He was starting to become so uncomfortable that he wanted to just turn around and yell at all of them what they were staring at. Yell at them to mind their own damn business.
Dae-ho stepped up on the bridge, holding the baby tightly against himself. Gi-hun had passed the game easily with Jun-hee's baby – it had to be simple and over sooner than he thought.
He looked over to the other side, towards the platform where Gi-hun and a few other players were standing, right at the end of the bridge. He imagined you standing there, you waiting for him. Smile and urge him to come there already.
"You can do it, i believe in you," your voice whispered to him in his mind.
I can do it, Dae-ho quietly mumbled to himself. So quietly that he wasn't sure if he had even said those words out loud or not.
When Dae-ho had successfully reached the other side, having passed the game, he almost didn't believe it was real. His heart was beating so fast it was probably going to scare the baby soon; he was surprised how calm she had stayed during the game too.
"I'll get us home," Dae-ho whispered, looking down at his daughter.
☆☆☆
At nights Dae-ho used to sleep in the same bed with you, hold you in his arms and have your head resting on his chest. He could smell your hair just a few inches from his nose. He could trace patterns on your bare elbow with his finger. He could kiss you goodnight.
Now, all Dae-ho had was your green jacket which wasn't even truly yours, but it had your smell attached to the fabric. He held it close to his chest, trying to imagine you to be there wearing it but it was now without an owner. Dae-ho held the jacket close to his face, imagining you to be there when he'd wake up, even though you were never going to be here anymore, you wouldn't materialize next to him out of thin air.
He didn't want the money anymore – he wanted to have you back.
The baby started crying next to him, waking Dae-ho up from his thoughts. He quickly sat up and carefully took the baby in his arms, trying to soothe her back to sleep.
"Shh, it's okay, it's okay," Dae-ho whispered and gently caressed her cheek. "We'll be okay, right?"
When the baby calmed down and looked Dae-ho into his eyes, he was now the one to burst out crying.
I'll be okay, right?

Kang Mi-na part 2?
Here's my idea if you don't know how to continue: Mi-na and fem!user continue in the games. They'd help each other and stuff. And user once gets a really bad headache (after the games before bedtime) and Mi-na unwraps the player hoodie from her waist and goes to the bathroom to wet it with cold water. She then wraps it around user's head and kisses her goodnight. Just the way that would make user's cheeks flush red and heart flutter.
Maybe it would be good if they both got out of the games winning. They'd live a happy life and stuff, maybe have some intimate moments?
Kiss me again – please? - Part 2
Mi-na x Reader
Summary: Mi-na takes care of you when you have a headache. Later, you play a little game together.
A/N: Woman got like 5 min of screen time but here i am on my knees for her 🧎🏻♀️ not exactly like the request 🫶🏻❤️
Part 1
☆♡☆
Your head pounded and no matter what position you tried to lay your head on the pillow, the pain seemed to get only worse.
Thanos had all kinds of pills inside his cross, everyone was aware of that – he wouldn't happen to have strong painkillers too, would he? Ugh, he wasn't a damn pharmacy you could just go to pick up something.
"Hey," a familiar voice said nearby. You felt weight on the mattress, someone sitting on the edge of your bed. You opened your eyes slightly, Mi-na looking down at you all worried. "Headache won't go away?"
You shook your head, immediately regretting it, a new flash of pain slicing your brain. The pain had started during the hide and seek game, in the middle of it slowly getting worse and worse. Now, it felt like your skull was being smashed with a hammer.
Mi-na squeezed your shoulder and got up. "I'll be right back, okay?"
Mi-na walked towards the bathroom, unwrapping the hoodie from her waist. She turned on the water, trying to get the temperature as cold as possible before wetting it.
Someone flushed the toilet in one of the stalls, and a girl walked out of it right after. Mi-na glanced at her, player 222, who looked at Mi-na confused what she was doing but tried not to stare as she washed her hands next to Mi-na.
In the end, Mi-na squeezed all the extra water dripping from the hoodie.
Mi-na returned to you about five minutes later, sitting on the same spot again next to you.
"Lift your head a little," she said quietly. You opened your eyes, furrowing your eyebrows confused what she was doing, but did as you were told, lifting your head from the pillow just a little bit.
Mi-na wrapped her hoodie around your head, tightly twisting the sleeves into a knot. The fabric was wet, spreading coldness all around your skull.
"Oh, god," you muttered.
"Does it feel okay? Do you want me to take it off?" she asked.
"No, no, it feels nice. Yeah, nice. Thank you," you mumbled, giving her a thankful smile.
She smiled back at you and then leaned down, bringing her face close to you, and pressed a sweet kiss between your eyebrows, forehead being covered with the hoodie.
Your eyes widened a little. The feel of her lips on your face and that comforting smile on her lips made your heart flutter and skip a beat.
"Goodnight, try to get some sleep," she whispered, brushing a strand of your hair off your cheek.
"I'll try," you whispered, closing your eyes again.
Before Mi-na left, she pulled the blanket all the way up to your chin.
She hated to see you in pain, a heavy feeling in her heart when she looked at you lying on your bed with a migraine slowly killing you. She was afraid you wouldn't get enough sleep for tomorrow's game. Would her wet hoodie even help? Surely it was better than nothing.
Mi-na hadn't been prepared to start caring about someone in such a short time when she first joined these games.
But she cared about you.
☆♡☆
All the finalists, you and Mi-na included, had changed into white button-up shirts and black suits for the final game tomorrow. You felt clean for the first time in several days. You felt like a human they might have respected at some level.
"You know, you look pretty hot in that suit," Mi-na flirted, lifting her eyebrow as she looked at you from head to toe. Your cheeks were turning pink and butterflies storming inside your stomach, you couldn't get a word out of your mouth at first.
"Oh, uh, you too," you stuttered, then had to swallow to get the rest of the words out of your throat. "Pretty... hot."
She giggled at the pink blush on your cheeks, leaning against the table which you were about to have a dinner at.
Mi-na sat next to you while you ate, there were in total 10 players around the table. Along with you and Mi-na were Gi-hun, Myung-gi, Hyun-ju, Jun-hee and her baby, Min-su and three guys who you hadn't even seen before the previous game.
When it was time for the lights out, Mi-na sat with you on your bed, both of you cross-legged on the mattress, knees a few inches apart from each other.
"You know, we might die tomorrow," she stated, breaking the silence which you had been unsure how to fill.
"We've had the possibility to die every day," you pointed out.
"Yes, i know," Mi-na sighed. "I just, it's the last game. After that everything's over."
"Are we over too?" you asked quietly and swallowed the lump in your throat, looking into her eyes. "If we live."
"Well, i hope not," Mi-na replied and gave you a shy smile, starting to feel suddenly a little more nervous than what was usual for her. She had always been the confident one. The one to make you all giddy and nervous, but now for a second you could see that shyness on her face too – even if it lasted just for a short moment. "Can i... stay with you tonight?"
Mi-na had an awful feeling that tomorrow at least one of you would die. Five games you had survived together but this was no damn fairytale with a happy ending. She had a feeling that it would all end in a tragedy. So, she wanted to spend every last moment with you while she still could.
"With me? Here?" you asked, making sure she had actually said those words out loud and you didn't just imagine it.
"Yeah, i'd like that. If it's okay with you?"
You laid yourself down on the mattress, head hitting the pillow. Mi-na was lying on her side against you, her head resting on your chest and arm around your waist, pink nails gently digging into your ribs through the shirt.
"Are you sleepy yet?" Mi-na asked, drawing circles on your ribs. She was nowhere near tired and knew she wouldn't be able to fall asleep any time soon.
"No, not really," you answered. The thoughts and stress about tomorrow's game would definitely keep you up longer than necessary.
You were lying down together in comfortable silence for a while. Your fingers found their way into Mi-na's hair, twirling a few of her braids around your finger.
"Let's play a game," she whispered.
"A game? What game?"
"Hm," Mi-na hummed and then lifted herself enough to be able to turn to look at you. "Fuck, marry, kill."
"Fuck, marry, kill. Seriously?"
"Come on, it'll be fun," she giggled, though trying to stay as silent as possible not to wake up the other nine players sleeping in the dorm.
"Alright," you agreed, though very hesitantly, afraid what you were getting yourself into suddenly.
"Okay, so... Fuck, marry, kill..." Mi-na thought carefully and sat up, pulling you up with her. You were now back in your original positions, legs crossed. "Thanos, Nam-gyu, Myung-gi."
"Oh, definitely kill Nam-gyu," you answered immediately. "Hm, fuck Myung-gi and kill Thanos."
"Kill Thanos, for real?" Mi-na asked, raising her eyebrows. "He's an idiot but i'd say he's pretty fuckable. But you gotta marry someone."
"Gross, i don't want to marry any of them," you grimaced. You could easily kill all three guys but as much of an asshole Myung-gi was, he was kind of nice to look at. "How about you?"
"Kill Nam-gyu, marry Myung-gi and fuck Thanos."
"You'd marry Myung-gi?"
"He seems like a pet you could train during time," Mi-na explained. The image of that in your mind almost made you laugh outloud.
"Fair," you chuckled. "Okay, my turn, hmm... Ah, i know. Gi-hun, Young-il, Jung-bae."
"Oh, we're going for old men now, huh?" she laughed but turned dead serious just a second or two after, giving it an actual thought. "Well, fuck Young-il, kill Gi-hun and marry Jung-bae."
"I'd definitely fuck Young-il but marry Gi-hun and kill Jung-bae," you said.
"Aw, you'd kill Jung-bae?" Mi-na pouted. "But he seemed so cute and sweet."
"You're making me choose!" you argued. "And Gi-hun feels more like dad material, ya know?" Seeing him carry Jun-hee's baby around in the green hoodie and protecting her with his life? You wouldn't be able to kill that man even in theory.
"I think Jung-bae would be very sweet in bed though," Mi-na stated. "But i get you, Young-il was really hot for an old man. I feel like Jung-bae would be a little too gentle with you in bed but Young-il? He'd definitely be rough and slam you–"
"You're making me imagine things i do not want to see," you groaned and rubbed your face, shivers going through your body in a huge wave.
You looked at each other for a few seconds and burst out laughing at the same time, muffling the laughter into your hand.
"Okay, okay, i know next – the guards," Mi-na smirked.
"The guards?"
"Fuck, marry, kill – square, triangle and circle guards."
You gave it a serious thought. "Well, definitely fuck square, marry circle and kill triangle."
"Really? I'd fuck triangle and kill square for sure."
"Yeah? You like a man who can handle a gun?"
"How sexist of you to think that all of them are men! There might be a woman too in one of those pink jumpsuits," Mi-na argued, but you could see that she was treating it as a joke.
"I apologize, you're totally right, women can shoot a gun too," you agreed. "Wait a minute... you wanna do some gunplay in bed or something?"
"I'm not that kinky just yet," she assured you. "But your turn now."
You tried to think who to suggest but couldn't think of a suitable trio right now that would be a good group to argue about. "I don't know, do you have something in mind?"
"Hmm." Mi-na tapped her lower lip with her finger. The tone of her voice changed now completely to something different, talking a little slower and lowering her voice. "How about... Jun-hee, Hyun-ju and... me."
Your cheeks flushed all hot and red, heart beating a little harder against your chest.
"Y/N...?" Mi-na said slowly and bit her lip since you didn't answer anything to her question, only stared at her completely stunned. "You have to choose."
"I can't choose," you resisted, but your voice felt now weaker, starting to tremble.
"Would you kill me?" she tested, crawling a little closer to you now.
"No," you whispered.
"Would you fuck me?" she asked boldly with a smirk, inching even closer to you.
"Uh," you mumbled and swallowed the lump rising in your throat. The word leaving your mouth was a mere whisper, barely audible to you either. "Yes."
A wide grin spread on her face as she pushed you down to lay on your back. She then climbed on top of you, straddling you with her legs on both sides of your body, knees pressing against the mattress.
Is this really happening oh my god, you thought, brain turning into mush for having a gorgeous woman on top of you. You felt like you couldn't even breathe for a moment, shocked of how the game had turned from you and Mi-na laughing and joking around to her now being on top of you.
She brought her face closer to yours, the tip of your noses almost touching each other.
"Can i kiss you?" Mi-na whispered, looking directly into your eyes while waiting for a permission.
"Y-yes," you stuttered. Please.
She pressed her lips on yours, her braids falling over her shoulders to cover your face from any prying eyes.
Mi-na's hand roamed all around your body, going from your cheek to your chest, shoulder, stomach – ending up to the waistband of your black pants. You were waiting for her to slide her hand under your pants – you definitely wouldn't have stopped her – but she didn't do that. Instead, she pulled her hand up back to your cheek when she started to suck on your neck, planting gentle and a little less gentle kisses around your neck and collarbone.
A moan escaped your mouth, making Mi-na grin for what sort of effect she had on you. Then, she pulled away, much to your disappointment. Mi-na could sense that you would have wanted to go on with whatever you were doing at the moment, which made her smile with satisfaction.
"Now, i'd love to continue that further but i'd rather do it somewhere nobody around us," Mi-na whispered into your ear, her hot breath sending shivers down your spine. "And i think we should sleep for tomorrow's game."
And she fell asleep on you, listening to your rapid heart beat which calmed down after a while as you got used to her touch, her body being against yours. Her leg was thrown over your body, clinging on you like a koala on a tree.
Oh how much you wished you'd both leave this place alive so you'd be able to have her close like this again and again.

Fishing trip
Recruiter x Wife!Reader
Summary: Your husband takes you to a fishing trip with his friends for the first time. It doesn't go as well as he had planned.
A/N: Sorry but the idea of the three of them going fishing together made me laugh so hard LMAO. The pic of In-ho holding a fish? I'm deceased, it look like a dad's facebook profile pic.
Probably unrealistic cos nobody ever took me fishing so idk what's going on when guys go fishing. Also this is very short.
♡♡
You had never gone fishing in your life, barely even held a fishing rod in your hands.
When your husband suggested you to join their fishing trip one day, you were hesitant. As far as you knew, they never invited anyone else to go with them – it was just the three of them.
Would In-ho's wife come as well? Not leaving you all alone to hang out with three guys, one of them you had met only once or twice before.
"Honey," your husband had said while you were folding the laundry. "I know i've been busy lately and we haven't spent much time with each other... Why don't you join us for the fishing trip tonight?"
"You're asking me to go fishing with you and your friends?" you scoffed, raising your eyebrows, feeling like it was a joke.
"Well, why not? My friends have been dying to meet you anyway. They haven't seen you since the wedding," he said, walking towards you. Standing right in front of you, he rubbed your shoulders and looked at you with the expression on his face you could never say 'no' to. "Besides, i planned to take you out for dinner afterwards. I'll reserve a table in some nice restaurant. What do you say?"
You thought about it for a moment. Fishing. Seriously? You had never imagined that you'd be into fishing.
So, here you were. On a boat in the middle of a sea, wearing an orange life vest like the three men around you. They were joking around together, having their own inside jokes which you couldn't relate to.
In-ho asked how you were doing and if you'd like to visit them next week for lunch – his wife was inviting a few friends over. You liked In-ho, he was a sweet man and had even been the bestman at your wedding.
You watched the guys fish and compete with each other who would catch the biggest fish.
You had brought a camera with you as well, loving photographing a lot. You took a few pics of the guys and the beautiful surroundings around you.
Suddenly, something almost ripped the fishing rod out of In-ho's hands, pulling it hard under the water. God, the fish must be enormous. It took a lot of effort, but In-ho managed to get whatever had caught the hook to himself. As you had guessed, it was a massive fish, the biggest you'd seen anyone you knew ever catch.
In-ho was now holding the fish, looking directly into the camera with a smile on his face. You snapped the photo.
After that, you sat back down, prepared to just spend your time sitting there for the rest of your time there. However, your husband thought a little differently.
"Okay, your turn," he said, motioning you to get up.
"What?" you asked while he already took your hand and pulled you up.
"Your turn to catch a fish," he specified.
"Oh, no, i'm fine just watching here," you chuckled nervously, not wanting to embarrass yourself in front of three people who actually knew how to fish.
"Don't be silly," he sighed, rolling his eyes. A smile played on his lips as he looked at you. "I don't want you to be bored."
"I'm not bored, alright?" you insisted, but he could see right through you; you were definitely bored as hell.
"Come on, one fish and then i'll take you home," he suggested, pushing it until you reluctantly gave in and took the fishing rod into your hands.
He taught you how to use the rod and what you needed to do – it was rather simple, you didn't know what you were so stressed about. All of it sounded easy enough.
"I can't catch anything, nothing's happening," you groaned, getting frustrated as several minutes had passed.
"You must have some patience," he said, knowing how impatient you were in everything you did; it only amused him.
"This isn't –"
Then, something pulled the rod under the water, a little harder than you were at first prepared for. Quite a lot harder, actually. For a second you became excited, about to catch something big on your first try, but the sudden pull caused you to trip over the edge of the boat, diving straight into the water face first.
"Y/N!" your husband shouted in panic when you ended up under the surface. However, you floated back up quite fast due to the life vest, the salt water stinging your eyes. He stretched his arm towards you, leaning over the edge. "Come on, i'll help you up."
You took his hand, but then a mischievous smile spread on your face. Instead of letting him help you back to the boat, you pulled him towards you, kicking yourself away from the boat. He wasn't prepared for you doing such an act, falling into the water as well.
"You'll regret doing that," he said, trying to sound all threatening but had a playful smirk on his face.
You backed away from him, pushing his chest with your foot, but he managed to grab your leg and pull you back to him before you managed to escape too far.
You let out a little unintentional scream out of your mouth as you crashed against his chest, getting salt water into your mouth on the way.
As he held you still by your elbows and kept an eye contact with you, you tried to hold your laugh for a moment but soon both of you burst out laughing.
You rested your hands on his shoulders and wrapped your legs around his waist. His hands found their way to support you by your butt, even though the vest was already keeping you up enough.
"Just so you know," you said with a serious tone in your voice, raising your eyebrows. "I'm never coming to fish with you and your friends again."
He let out a laugh. "I suppose we have to figure out another hobby for the two of us, hm?"
"Deal," you laughed.
He cupped your cheek with his hand, bringing your face closer to press a soft kiss on your lips.
You eventually got back to the boat, and your husband went to fetch a towel for you. What you didn't realize, that choosing a white t-shirt for this trip wasn't the best idea, your red bra extremely visible through the fabric.
At first you were confused why Yeong-gil's gaze was suddenly on your chest, and when you realized it, you were quick to wrap your arms around to hide yourself the best you could.
When your husband came back, he gave a hard smack on the back of Yeong-gil's neck, making him wince that it had actually hurt. He shot an angry glare at him which made the captain turn away and return to In-ho.
Your husband took the life vest off you, wrapping a towel around you instead.
"So, where did you plan to take me for dinner? You promised something nice."
"It's a surprise," he stated. "I think we'll need to go home to take a shower and change our clothes before i'll take you anywhere around other people.
"We'll take a shower, huh?" you smirked. "Wanna play in the water a little more?"
"I'd prefer to do it when those two aren't looking," he whispered, nodding towards his two friends.
He better take you out to eat something else than fish tonight.

Seizure
Nam-gyu x Reader
Summary: You get a seizure during one of the games and get help from someone completely unexpected.
A/N: Never imagined to write about this junkie but this gif made me kinda feel things. OOC but idc. Also didn't know if i'd even post this cos it's basically just for myself as someone who has epilepsy and deadass would actually die there bc of it if i didn't get my meds 🧍🏻♀️
i'll probably delete this
♧♧
When you were about to start the first game, you noticed someone familiar in the distance. At least someone who reminded you a lot about a specific person from your past. No, it couldn't be him… could it?
When you locked eyes with him, you got your answer – it indeed was him.
Nam-gyu.
The boy you had gone to the same middle school with all those years ago. The boy who hung out with your brother after school at your house. The boy who sat next to you during math classes and kept stealing your erasers. The boy who told your first crush that you liked him, just to tease and make fun of you, and you ended up running back home crying. The boy who stared at you a little too long when he saw you in bikinis for the first time when you were 15 years old — though you didn’t seem to be aware of that. The boy who was a pain in the ass for eight years of your life.
"Well, well, well. Who do we have here?" Nam-gyu said when you had returned to the dorm after the first game, standing in front of you with his hands in his pockets. He had a blue ‘O’ patch attached to his green jacket while you had chosen the red ‘X’, dividing you into separate groups, just like back in school.
You hadn't seen him at all in the past 10 years. He had changed a little but not enough to be unrecognizable to you.
"Nam-gyu," you said, crossing your arms. "Long time no see."
As the games progressed, you ended up into separate groups. Nam-gyu was with Thanos, Min-su and Se-mi, while you were with Gi-hun, Dae-ho and Jun-hee. You barely looked at his way, almost forgetting he even was there.
Only once in a while did you spare a glance or two towards his way. However, Nam-gyu was looking in your way a lot more than you did to his; he hadn't seen you at all in a decade and god, how much you had changed. The last time he had seen you, you had been a girl but now you were a grown ass woman.
And pretty as hell too, though that's something he'd keep to himself.
When the hide and seek game was about to start, you examined the triangle key that was hanging on your neck.
"Hope you're still a fast runner like in middle school," Nam-gyu snickered behind you, holding the knife assigned to him and gently tapped your shoulder with the flat side of the blade. "Because i'm gonna hunt you down."
"Yeah?" you said, crossing your arms and tried to look all confident, lifting your chin up high. "I'm gonna wear you off quite quickly."
Nam-gyu left you alone and teamed up with Myung-gi who had changed vests with Jun-hee, now both men in the red team.
During the game, you ended up losing Dae-ho who you had teamed up with, having no idea where he was right now. However, you kept searching for the exit on your own, opening as many doors as you could with your key, but always running into dead ends.
Just after you had entered the next room, Nam-gyu right behind you, you suddenly stopped on your tracks. All you did was stare ahead of you, mind completely blank.
"There you are," Nam-gyu smirked, finally catching up with you, but the arrogance quickly turned into confusion for how you were acting at the moment, not answering to him with some sarcastic remark.
You had suffered from epilepsy since you were 12 years old. Nam-gyu knew that, he had been there when you got a seizure after school. Your brother knew what to do, but all Nam-gyu had been able to do was to watch you from the side since he had never been in that sort of a situation, not knowing what the hell was happening.
You hadn’t gotten a single seizure in the past three years, thanks to your medication, so you hadn’t thought about it here that much before. The medicine had to be taken twice in a day but now you didn’t have it here, having been several days in a row without a single pill.
Oh fuck. No, no, not right now, Nam-gyu thought.
Then, your legs betrayed you but Nam-gyu managed to catch you before you hit the ground, gently laying your body down.
What the hell was he supposed to do?
“She has to stay on her side,” your brother said, turning your body on the side. “Go grab a pillow or something soft to place under her head.”
Nam-gyu didn’t have a pillow here or anything soft. He was on his knees next to you, starting to fully panic what to do. Soft, soft, soft, something to protect your head. Nam-gyu ended up just placing your head on his lap, not restricting your head from moving but making sure you weren’t hitting it on the floor while convulsing.
He wasn't sure how long it took, probably only a minute or two, but it felt much longer than that. Eventually, your body stopped moving and for a second Nam-gyu was afraid you had actually died, having your body completely limp and eyes closed. He put his finger under your nose, feeling air hit his skin. Okay, you were still breathing, you weren't dead.
Nam-gyu was running out of time, and he still needed to find someone to kill. Someone wearing a blue vest. He had killed one player but it was together with Myung-gi, so he had to find another.
Someone like you.
You would have been an easy target, lying on the floor unconscious, still breathing – not able to fight back. But he couldn't get himself to stab the knife through you.
If he simply left you here to lay down all by yourself, someone from the red team might find you and kill you instead. Nam-gyu groaned and rubbed his face, thinking what the hell he should do.
Nam-gyu eventually stood up and walked to a corpse nearby, gathering blood into his hands from the pool of blood the man was lying on. Then, he rubbed the dead man's blood on you: your shirt (both on your stomach and back), face, hands – anywhere to make it look like you were injured and dead.
"This is really fucking nasty but you don't leave me much of a choice," Nam-gyu mumbled. God damn it, he wasn't made to taking care of someone else – he could barely take care of himself.
There was 15 minutes of the game left. As long as you wouldn't move an inch or breathe too loudly, you'd be safe, he was sure of it. Why did he even care? He didn't. If you died… whatever. He didn't give a damn about you. Of course not.
Alright, maybe he did just a little. Maybe he did have a crush on you in middle school but obviously that had already passed. Of course it had.
Nam-gyu shook his head and left the room without looking back.
“Where have you been?” Myung-gi asked, but Nam-gyu just brushed his question off and walked past him, making Myung-gi follow.
When Nam-gyu had killed a blue vested player, along with Myung-gi, he returned to you, still laying on your side. Not dead, just asleep. Untouched.
Nam-gyu shook your shoulder to get you awake. He'd rather get you out of there by himself than have the guards to drag you away.
"Hm?" you mumbled, still half asleep but slowly stirring awake.
"Wakey wakey, princess," Nam-gyu said, looking you into your eyes now that you were awake.
"Don't call me a princess," you managed to mumble, even in your hazy state, brain like scrambled eggs right now.
Nam-gyu helped you to sit up and lean against the wall. You winced and held your head, getting a strong and pounding headache.
"Where are we? What’s going on?" you asked, confused about the entire situation, struggling to remember what had happened.
"Still in the middle of the game," Nam-gyu explained. "You got a seizure."
You just stared at Nam-gyu with narrowed eyes, tired and sensitive to lights which were surprisingly bright at the moment. You tried to make a sense of this situation but your brain was total mush.
"I think i'm gonna throw up," you muttered, feeling something build up in your throat but nothing came out. "How much time is there left?"
"Around five minutes," Nam-gyu replied.
Your head was killing you right now and you were feeling too exhausted to even sit up, so you lowered yourself back on your side, letting your head rest on Nam-gyu's lap.
It startled him a little but he let you stay there, rest on him for those five minutes.
♧♧
When it was time for the light’s out, you were afraid of falling asleep. What if you got a seizure in your sleep? You liked to sleep on your back the most but if you did get a seizure at night, you’d probably choke on your own spit. Sleeping on your side didn’t feel so natural to you and you’d almost always eventually roll on your back.
You had an idea in your mind but you hated yourself for it. You couldn’t just go and ask him about it. If it would be okay with him. If he could help you out just for this night. It felt stupid to even consider it an option, surely he’d just laugh at you how ridiculous you were being and make you go back to your own bed.
You had mostly recovered from the seizure earlier and the realization of the entire situation hit hard on your face. You hated others watching you have a seizure, it was so embarrassing. Humiliating. In front of your family it wasn’t as bad but with strangers or people like Nam-gyu — people who already kept teasing and making fun of you? Hell no.
Nam-gyu was awake in his bed when you approached him.
“Already miss me?” he teased.
“Can I…” you started, the words stuck in your throat. Oh god this felt so wrong. “Can I sleep with you tonight?”
Nam-gyu instantly sat up, now curious what you were exactly suggesting.
“Wanna sleep with me, huh?” he smirked, eyeing you from head to toe. “Here? While all these other people sleep? Damn, didn’t know you were such a —“
“I didn’t mean like that,” you spat, interrupting him before he’d go into any further details. “I mean just sleeping. Only sleeping. Nothing else.”
Nam-gyu narrowed his eyes, an amused smile spreading on his lips right after. “Thought you couldn’t stand the thought of me sleeping even in the same room with me.”
“What?” you asked, confused what he meant.
“You know, when I’d stay with your brother and —“
“I was 13 years old for fuck’s sake,” you groaned. “Just, can I or do I leave you alone?”
“If you promise not to snore though,” he pointed out.
“I do not snore,” you scoffed.
“Well, you kinda do. I heard it all the way from— Ow!” Nam-gyu started but winced when you hit him on his shoulder.
“Just forget it,” you mumbled and turned around to leave, but Nam-gyu just grabbed your hand and pulled you back.
“You can stay if you want to.”
“What?” you asked, furrowing your eyebrows. “Seriously?”
“I don’t mind." He shrugged, trying to act all nonchalant, but on the inside he was going crazy at the moment. Having you sleep in the same bed with him? You being the one to suggest it? This had to be some sort of a dream which he would wake up from any moment now.
You hesitantly laid yourself down on the bed, Nam-gyu backing off towards the edge to make room for you. You swallowed while laying your head on the pillow, Nam-gyu breathing on the back of your head. He moved closer to you so that his chest was now against your back, making sure that you wouldn’t roll on your back during your sleep.
Nam-gyu kept his hand on your stomach. “And no funny business with your hands, alright?” you ordered, being able to imagine how his hands would start roaming around your body at night.
“I’ll try to behave,” Nam-gyu smirked.
You already knew this was a bad idea but you couldn’t figure out any other solution to be able to sleep at ease.
When you woke up in the morning, having slept all night without waking up even once, you felt a hand cupping your left breast.
You hit Nam-gyu on his ribs with your elbow, startling him awake.
“Jesus christ, what the hell was that for?” Nam-gyu groaned, pulling his hand away.
“I said no touching with your hands,” you repeated with a firm tone.
“Hey, I’m a guy with a pretty girl in my bed, it’s simply an instinct I can’t control,” Nam-gyu tried to reason with a serious expression on his face. His arm was numb from your weight, feeling pins and needles all around the limb.
You tried the ignore the fact how he called you ‘pretty’, turning your face away just in case you’d blush.
“Whatever,” you mumbled and got up from the bed.
Nam-gyu looked after you when you walked away from him. He had liked you sleeping next to him surprisingly lot, a little too much maybe. Nam-gyu watched for a moment when you talked with player 456 about something.
He had known you for years when you were kids. Back then you were like the annoying little sister to him but now? All grown up and independent? You definitely weren’t like an annoying little sister anymore. Annoying, probably, but otherwise he wasn’t really able to explain what he was feeling.
All Nam-gyu knew was that he wanted you close to him again.
♧♧
Before the jump rope game, you were getting anxious. What if you got another seizure while you were standing on the bridge? Well, at least people wouldn’t stare at you too long since you’d instantly drop down anyway — looking at the good sides.
Nam-gyu stared at you, biting your fingernail that you always did when you were stressed. A thought of him carrying you over the bridge to ensure that you would reach the other side safely crossed his mind but he knew he wouldn’t manage to do that. He didn’t trust that you wouldn’t suddenly zone out in the middle, even if it would be just a few seconds, and get swept off by your feet. Nam-gyu was sure that you were afraid of the same thing just by the sight of you at the moment.
His own nerves were going crazy too, the crave — the need — for drugs not being helpful at all, making it all even worse. But the crave, the need, for you was even stronger right now.
Nam-gyu took a deep breath and then walked to you. He grabbed you by your arm, turning your body to face him.
“Wha—“ you started but was interrupted by him crashing his lips on yours, taking you into a deep kiss. He had his hand on the back of your head, making sure you wouldn’t escape his hold before he was done.
You were too shocked to even be able to move. Just when you were starting to actually realize what he was doing and you were able to react to the kiss, he already pulled away.
“Just in case one of us dies,” he whispered and winked, the left corner of his lips rising a little. Then, he let go of you and walked to the bridge without another word.
You just stood there for several seconds, looking after him with red cheeks and lips apart from the shock. Lips that Nam-gyu had just kissed. What the fucking hell got into him, you thought. How were you supposed to concentrate on the game now that you had the memory of him kissing you in your mind?
You shook your head, trying to erase Nam-gyu out of your mind, but he was stuck there for good.
Just focus on jumping at the correct moment. Don't think about it, just concentrate on the rope which will kill you if you don't jump on time. Don't think about how nice his lips had felt, just concentrate on the rope which will swipe you to your death if you don't jump on time.
Jump, step, step, step, jump, step, kiss- stop it, step, jump, his lips- shut the fuck up, jump, gap, fuck there's a gap, jump... You were sweating by now, heart hammering inside your chest. Over half way, you could do it. Don't look at the corpses all the way down there, don't look at them. But the kiss, damn, SHUT UP.
When you jumped to the platform among the other players who had passed the game, you could have fallen on your knees and kissed the ground under your feet.
Your gaze found Nam-gyu standing on the side, looking at the time which was running down second by second. Couple of minutes to go.
You walked up to him and when you were standing right in front of him, you slapped him on the cheek before he managed to say a single word. Not too hard to hurt but hard enough to sting a little.
“Why did you do that?” you spat.
“You were the one to hit me,” he stated, holding his cheek with wide eyes.
“Why the hell would you kiss me like that?” you asked. “That was the worst moment to do that.”
“Yeah? So there’s a right moment for that, huh?” Nam-gyu smirked, and you wanted to slap that smile off his face but managed to keep your cool. You just rolled your eyes. “Call it for good luck.”
“I’m your good luck charm or something?” you asked, crossing your arms.
“Something like that,” he smiled. “Come on, don’t act like you didn’t like that.”
“Don’t be so arrogant,” you sighed.
“Well, you didn’t get a seizure so it must have had an effect here,” he said and tapped your head with his finger three times. You brushed his hand away.
“You think you kissing me has the same effect like my medicine?” you scoffed and shook your head. “Delusional as always.”
“I saw the way you blushed after the kiss though,” he smirked, tilting his head to the left.
“I did not,” you denied, though it was useless to lie about it to him at this point.
"Mhm," he hummed, amused at your reactions. He took a step closer and tilted your chin up with his finger, looking directly into your eyes. "Do let me know if you want to sleep together again though."
With a wink, he walked past you, leaving you by yourself with confused thought and feelings and heart beating rapidly.

could you make a part two of “Carry her” where Jun-ho finally makes it to the games while Gi-hun, Player 100, Minsu, Myung-gi, Y/n, Jun-hee, the baby player 336, player 353, player 203 and player 039 are at the final game? And No-Eul comes to help save Jun-hee from sacrificing herself and shooting myung-gi in the leg to stop him from trying to push Y/n? (and ofc this is where Gi-hun is holding the baby while trying think of a way to save Y/n and Jun-hee)
SORRY THIS IS SUCH A LONG REQUEST😭
Carry her – Part 2
Jun-hee x Reader
Summary: As above (almost).
Part 1
A/N: Probably not as good as the first one but oh well it's something :') Deadass writing several different versions of the last game with different outcomes lmao.
♡♡♡
"So, who do you think will be the one to drop dead next?" the long haired VIP asked the others, letting out a laugh before taking a sip from his drink.
"I think it'll be you," a female voice answered behind them. The VIPs turned around, confused why there was a pink guard aiming a gun towards the long haired VIP. The confusion quickly turned into panic.
"Woah! Put that thing down," the man gasped, voice trembling. "I –"
Then, he indeed was the one to drop dead next, falling back on the couch but now with a hole in his head.
The woman got up, ready to flee and save herself, but the guard was faster, shooting a bullet through her brain as well.
When all the VIPs were dead, blood splattered on the couches and the floor, No-eul took the mask off her head and threw it on the floor.
"Got the full experience now," No-eul mumbled and stepped over the woman's corpse.
No-eul looked at the final game play behind the glass, the players currently standing on the second pillar – six of them remaining. The first round had eliminated four players instead of the required one.
No-eul looked at especially the young girl, player 222, who had been pregnant and given birth during one of the games. An older man, player 456, was holding her baby, protecting her, since the girl could barely walk.
Player 222 was one of the few people who No-eul cared about among the players, even though she didn't personally know her and most likely would never either.
☆☆☆
Myung-gi had a tight grip on your neck, squeezing it hard but not enough to choke you – yet, at least. He held you in his arm's length, close to the edge of the pillar. Just two or three steps behind and your foot would face only air.
"Myung-gi, please," Jun-hee begged, trying to stay calm but afraid he'd let go of you and make you drop. She felt her voice trembling as she spoke the words to him. "Please let go of her."
"Yeah? You want to save your little girlfriend here? Walk away and raise our kid together, huh?" Myung-gi rambled, keeping a tight hold on your throat but looking into Jun-hee's eyes. "Yeah, our kid, Jun-hee. That kid is mine. It's my kid too."
"Myung-gi –"
"I've seen how you look at each other," Myung-gi chuckled. "I get it, she's pretty and all. While I'm a piece of shit who's not capable of being a dad. That's what you wanted to hear, Jun-hee? That's what you think, right?"
"Myung-gi, that's not what i think. Can we talk later and figure things out, okay?" Jun-hee insisted, trying to keep him as calm as possible but he was just getting angrier as the seconds passed. He didn't even know why he was so furious. Was it just jealousy? Not wanting to see Jun-hee with someone else?
"We –" Myung-gi started but couldn't get past the first word because suddenly Myung-gi let go of you, a loud scream escaping his mouth. He fell on his knees, holding on his leg which started to bleed. Myung-gi pressed his hand on his leg, painting his palm red.
Everyone noticed the blood and how he had gotten injured, as baffled as others how it had happened out of nowhere. Was that a gunshot? Who the hell had shot him out of nowhere? There was still 4 minutes left of the second round.
But when Myung-gi had let go of you, he gave you a slight push, making you lose your balance and take couple of steps backwards. Your foot didn't meet the ground on the third step. However, you managed to hold your hands on the edge, the rest of your body hanging in the air. You wouldn't be able to stay there very long, there wasn't anything you could properly grab.
"Y/N!" Jun-hee shouted in panic and ran towards you. "Take my hand, i'll help you up."
"No, i'll just pull you down too," you refused and shook your head, tears rising into your eyes. You were going to die but you weren't going to take Jun-hee with you and make her child an orphan.
Oh my god you were really going to fall and fucking die. You had come this far, you could not die right in the end.
Then, your fingers slipped and you lost the hold on the pillar. Jun-hee had a tight grip on your arm but she wouldn't be able to pull you up on her own, she was too small and fragile for that.
"Someone help me!" Jun-hee shouted over her shoulder as she grabbed your arm, squeezing your flesh as hard as she could. She didn't care about whatever you said; she needed to save you. She needed you. She couldn't handle even the thought of losing you.
She had to save you, just like you had saved her.
"Please, please don't let go," Jun-hee pleaded, her body starting to slowly slide down further towards the edge, inch by inch, because of your weight. The rough surface was scratching her pants, but she tried to push herself back as hard as she could, using all the strength she had in her body.
Your hand was becoming sweaty, you couldn't hold on to Jun-hee much longer. You wanted to let go so you wouldn't take Jun-hee with you. She was crying – no, you were both crying.
The moment Myung-gi pushed you over the edge, Gi-hun knew he needed to help you, immediately. But he was holding the baby, trying to figure out what to do. Of course he needed to help you and Jun-hee, she couldn't get you up by herself, but what was he going to do with the baby? If he put her down and left her alone, one of the players could grab and kill her. But he needed to take that risk, otherwise you would be dead.
Gi-hun made it to you and Jun-hee just in time, grabbing your arm and pulling you up with Jun-hee. Just a few more seconds and you would have been dead, bones crushed all the way down there on the floor with the players 353, 203, 039 and, sadly, Min-su.
When you were up on your own two feet again, Jun-hee immediately crashed against you and wrapped her arms tightly around your waist, almost suffocating you. Her body was trembling, tears falling down her cheeks.
"Thank god you're safe," Jun-hee mumbled against your chest, closing her eyes and trying to calm herself down. Shake off the thought of you being dead.
"Are you alright?" Gi-hun asked, his hand on your shoulder and worry bright in his eyes. You managed to just nod, heart racing from that moment. That was the closest you had come to death during these games.
Another gunshot made all of you flinch, separating Jun-hee from you. Now the player 100 had collapsed on the ground, a bullet hole on the middle of his forehead.
Stage 2 – pass.
"Who the hell is firing the gun?" Myung-gi shouted, frantically looking all around the large room for a hidden sniper but wasn't able to spot one. "There wasn't supposed to be guns!"
It was for the players to decide who were to die and who to live, not the guards this time, unless the time would run out and there had still been plenty of time left.
There was no answer, only Myung-gi's loud words hanging in the air. The bridge started to slowly connect the second pillar to the third, letting you to move to the last stage.
Third pillar. You, Jun-hee, Gi-hun and Myung-gi facing each other – nobody else left anymore. Gi-hun was holding the baby, while Jun-hee had grabbed your hand, her fingers squeezing your hand hard; afraid you'd leave her side.
Right after you had pressed the button, turning it from red to green, Myung-gi grabbed the metal pipe to himself, about to push one of you over the edge. He was going to live, no matter what. Jun-hee stepped in front of you, trying to protect you from him – he wouldn't push Jun-hee off, right?
Although, Myung-gi had officially gone insane, so there was no knowing what he was about to do. However, due to the wound on his leg, leaving a blood trail on the ground, he wasn't able to move as quickly as in the beginning. He wasn't as big of a threat anymore to you.
Before the third round had lasted even a minute, another gunshot echoed in the room. This time, Myung-gi collapsed on the ground, another bullet shot into him – now to the head, the shot much more fatal.
Congratulations – you have now passed the game.
All of you just stood there in complete shock what had just happened. That wasn't in the rules. You were supposed to decide the victims when there was still time left. Kill each other.
Although, what mattered the most right now was that you, Jun-hee, the baby and Gi-hun would walk free and alive out of here.
"Is it really over?" Jun-hee asked quietly, feeling like it was all too good to be true.
"I guess so," you mumbled. That was it? There had to be another twist coming up. Where were you supposed to go now?
Jun-hee hesitated for a moment but then walked closer to Myung-gi, kneeling down next to him. She just looked at him, examining his face. Eyes open, staring into nothing. Lips slightly apart from each.
"Goodbye, asshole," Jun-hee whispered and cared enough just to close his eyes.
Then, she returned to you and felt a weight dropping from her shoulders now that Myung-gi was gone. That she'd never have to see him again.
☆☆☆
Jun-hee turned her back to her past, facing now her future – you.
"Jun-ho?" Gi-hun gasped as the four of you reached the boat by the beach. Not a moment too soon.
"Are you the only survivors?" he asked, looking at each of you one by one – his gaze especially glued at the baby Gi-hun was holding. Jun-ho had way too many questions but no time to go through them right now.
"Just us," Gi-hun confirmed.
Jun-ho helped all of you to get up into the boat, especially Jun-hee since she still had trouble with her leg.
"Alright, we should be –" Jun-ho stopped mid-sentence, glancing over Gi-hun's shoulder. His face fell, making everyone turn around to see what he had seen.
A woman dressed up in a pink suit, a rifle in her arms, was standing a few metres behind you. Everyone went into slight panic for a moment. She was clearly one of the guards, though not wearing a black mask anymore.
"Room for one more?" she asked.
It took a few seconds for Jun-ho to answer but he then nodded his head and motioned her to come to them. "Yeah, come on. We don't have much time left."
"What?" Gi-hun asked, needing a good explanation why the hell Jun-ho was willing to take a guard with them without another question. "Why are we taking her with us?"
"I'll explain everything to you later, but she's coming with us," Jun-ho ordered. She had helped Jun-ho earlier, proving that she was on their side, so it would be unfair of him to just leave her to die.
The boat took off, finally leaving the island behind you and heading further towards the sea. Just a few minutes later, you heard a loud explosion coming from the island – the entire place was now completely destroyed.
The place where you had been trapped and fighting for your life for a week, was now turning into ash. The place where you had been only a moment ago was now gone forever.
The idea and thought of it all felt so surreal.
While you sat in the boat, everyone stayed silent for a long time, trying to process everything what had happened alone.
You eyed the guard suspiciously and decided to speak up, to break the thick silence. "Why are you here?"
"I did you a favor, might as well give me a ride back home," she replied, daring to give you a smile.
"Wait, you shot all those other players?" Jun-hee asked, now straightening her back and joining the conversation. "Why?"
"Had to get the game over a little faster." She nodded towards the island which was now in flames.
"But why help us?" you asked, furrowing your eyebrows. "You could have just left us there and escape on your own."
She went silent for a moment, and you were dying to know what was going on in her head. This was the first moment when you could speak freely to one of the guards without a danger of getting shot in the head.
"Because i don't think the four of you deserve to die," she replied, and you could tell that it was the only answer you would get from her.
So, some of the guards still had a heart that cared about a human life. Or at least one of them.
"What's your name?" Jun-hee asked.
"No-eul," she replied, realizing how much time had passed since the last time she or someone else had said her name out loud. Here she had been known only as 011. She then glanced at the baby Jun-hee was holding, a warm smile spreading on her face. "She's beautiful. Does she have a name yet?"
"No, i haven't really had the time to think about it yet."
After that, all of you sat in silence for a moment, the games speedrunning inside your heads. How the past week had changed all of you. Not only financially but even more mentally. How many people you had watched die right in front of you – some of them strangers that had become your friends. You felt like you had gone through a long war but it was only one week.
"Y/N," Jun-hee whispered, her baby fully asleep in her arms. "What do you plan to do now?"
"Well, i don't know, really."
"I'd like to have you in my life, if that's okay with you," Jun-hee suggested, careful and nervous with her words how you would react. You had lived together in this small bubble, away from the life you knew. You and Jun-hee lived completely separate lives – would there be room for Jun-hee in the future? "I'm not asking you to become a stepmom for her but maybe, if you'd like, her godmother?"
"Really?" you gasped, excited of the thought. "You mean that?"
"Yeah, i'd like that very much," Jun-hee smiled.
"Well, i'd like that too. Very much," you agreed.
God, how much you wanted to kiss her right now. Was this the right moment? Would she even want to? You still remembered the kiss she had given you after the jump rope, the memory alone summoning butterflies into your stomach.
Jun-hee leaned against your shoulder as the waves moved the boat side to side, making you feel tired as well.
Gi-hun was chatting with Jun-ho about something, while No-eul was leaning her head against the wall, deep in her thoughts. Having looked at Jun-hee with her child, No-eul couldn't help but feel a sting in her heart, missing her own daughter as well. She'd find her some day – she'd have to.
"Y/N," Jun-hee mumbled quietly.
"Yeah?"
"I'm really glad i met you," Jun-hee admitted, now looking into your eyes.
"I'm glad i met you too," you replied and smiled.
"Can i kiss you?" she asked, making your heart skip a beat. You didn't even have to answer with words, she got the permission from the mere look on your face. Smile on both of your faces, Jun-hee softly pressed her lips on yours.
For the rest of the trip on the boat, Jun-hee rested her head on your shoulder and fell asleep. Having a dream about you which she hoped would come true some day.

can you make a story about young il (aka inho) falling in love with caring reader, who joins the games for revenge after her husband joins the games and dies, helps gihun, and becomes close friends with jun hee and hyun ju? sorry if this sounds cringe but I’m just wondering
Widow's revenge
In-ho x Reader
(Implied Sang-woo x Reader)
Summary: Your husband, Sang-woo, took part of the games but died, so you joined the games with Gi-hun to get revenge.
Warnings: Angst.
A/N: It's not completely like in the requests but hope it'll do 🫶🏻 it's a little rushed tbh but i needed to get it into the end and i'm not making several parts of this lol
♡♡♡
"You know what happened to my husband," you stated, looking Gi-hun directly into his eyes.
He only stared at you, not knowing how much to tell you or if he should lie and make you go away.
"Well?" you said, crossing your arms and impatient for his answer.
Gi-hun knew that Sang-woo would probably raise himself from the dead and kill Gi-hun the way Gi-hun had killed him if he learned that Gi-hun would allow you to join the games with him. However, both Gi-hun and Sang-woo knew that you didn't take no for an answer, you had always been stubborn like that.
With that, here you were: in the middle of the game "red light, green light" trying to stay as still as possible in the large field.
You took a few steps forward, passing Gi-hun who had been ahead of you but had now frozen still. The way his face fell made a short wave of panic clench your heart.
"What is it?" you asked.
Green light.
"The implant in my tooth is gone," Gi-hun whispered.
Your eyes widened. No, no, no – that wasn't supposed to happen. Of course it wouldn't be that easy for Jun-ho to find the island with his crew. But how did they know? How? Surely they didn't go through every player's mouth.
Red light.
"Okay, we'll worry about it later, now we have to move," you said.
Green light.
When you had crossed the finish line, the panic rose inside you again. What were you going to do now? It was supposed to be over very soon but now things were much more complicated.
♡♡♡
You had fucked up your plan, it came crashing down before it had even properly started. Now, you had a chance to leave. To vote your way out of the game and make a new plan. To start over – but only if the majority of the players pressed the red X button. Many wanted to leave but many were desperate for the prize money.
After the player 002 had voted, the scores were even. It was now completely in the hands of the player 001 whether you'd sleep in your own bed or in this dorm filled up with hundreds of other people.
The player 001 walked down the gap between the two groups the players had voted to be in, towards the blue and red light shining in the dim light. It felt like he was walking slowly on purpose, taking his precious time to keep you waiting what your fate was.
And of course, he pressed the blue O. You glanced at Gi-hun who looked absolutely defeated.
God, what did you get yourself into? It was idiotic not to have a plan B ready if the plan A failed – like it just had done.
♡♡♡
The second game was made of five different mini games, one assigned to each player in the group. The player 001 joined into your team, introducing him as Young-il.
Now that you got a better look at him, he was around the same age as Gi-hun and, you had to admit to yourself, quite handsome too.
"Nice to meet you all," he said, smiling.
When the game was over and you got back to the dorm, Young-il joined you for dinner as well. You liked him from the beginning and enjoyed his company. He was easy to talk to and seemed actually interested on what you wanted to say. You had a hard time to get to know strangers easily but with him it felt natural, as if you had known each other much longer.
Gi-hun seemed to enjoy his company too, and you could imagine Young-il becoming good friend of you and Gi-hun's if you got to know each other in the outside world.
You wished that Young-il would be one of the players to stay alive as long as possible, to help you through the games.
♡♡♡
On your second night there, you couldn't help but wonder whether one of these beds had been the one where Sang-woo had slept in when he was here. Did they change the beds or keep them for the next players? Surely they changed the mattresses at least.
Who had slept next to him? Who had he become friends with? Did he find someone here he cared about and had to watch them die? ...did he intentionally kill anyone?
You wanted to ask Gi-hun what the games were when he played with San-woo, but a part of you was sure that not knowing might have been wiser. Maybe. You didn't want to uncover truths that you didn't want to hear about your husband, although Gi-hun probably wouldn't even tell you everything if there was anything bad to know.
You couldn't get yourself to fall asleep, not even feeling tired, anxiety and stress taking over your body. So, you decided to go to the bathroom.
On your way there, you noticed Young-il and one of the square guards discuss about something but since there was enough distance between the two of you, you couldn't hear what they were speaking.
But as soon as they spotted you arriving close to them, turning their heads towards you, they went completely silent.
"I need to go to the bathroom," you said.
"Players are not allowed to –" the guard stated but was interrupted by the look Young-il gave to him, though you didn't notice it. "Alright, you'll get five minutes."
That was odd, you thought, changing his mind so quickly like that. However, you knew better than to start asking too many questions and just go to the damn bathroom.
When you had stepped inside, you leaned against the sink and looked at you in the mirror.
You can do this. It'll be over soon. You'll get home sooner than you think. Don't cry, please don't cry. You have to stay strong. Gi-hun will figure it out, right? He has a plan, he must have. A plan which he hadn't revealed to you but there must be one. All hope can't be lost yet.
Then, you heard crying and sniffling from one of the stalls, getting your attention. You furrowed your eyebrows, wondering who it was and whether you should invade her privacy or leave her be.
The occupied stall's door wasn't locked, but you gave it a soft knock before you'd open it.
"Hello? Are you okay?" you asked.
No answer.
"I'm coming in, alright?" No answer this time either. You carefully pulled the door open, just to reveal Jun-hee with cheeks wet from tears and eyes red from crying.
You kneeled down in front of her.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
"I‐i want to go home," she sobbed.
Your heart broke at the state of her. She was so young and also pregnant – how could they even let a pregnant woman participate in the games? She could give birth any moment now, and the stress didn't help the pregnancy at all.
"Hey, listen," you said quietly and took her hands in yours. "We'll get back home. You and your baby will go back home, okay?"
You comforted her for a few moments longer, wrapping your arms around her and brushing her back with your hand.
"We'll be alright," you whispered.
You took Jun-hee back to her bed and stayed with her until she fell asleep, brushing her hair and trying your best to calm her down. Just after you were sure she was asleep, you tiptoed quietly back to your bunk.
You weren't aware of it, but In-ho saw you comforting Jun-hee who had obviously been crying. Seeing you caring for someone else and losing your own sleep for it warmed up In-ho's heart.
In-ho couldn't help but think how gorgeous you were – both on the outside and inside. Smiling all the time, your presence in general being like a ray of sunshine in the room – even if the smiles were fake, which most of them probably were.
When you were alone, the smile was long gone from your face. You had the need to cheer everyone up in this place of life and death. Because at night you curled up in a ball in your bed and covered your mouth with your hand to muffle any sobs coming out of your mouth as a few tears ran down your cheeks. But of course you didn't want to bother anyone since everyone already had their own worries.
In-ho wanted to comfort you the way you did to others but he couldn't get himself to do that. Because if he did approach you and get to know you better, just the two of you, he was afraid how his feelings towards you would change. How he'd start to care for you.
In-ho couldn't let himself to get feelings towards you. It would never worked out, you were too good to him. Kind and caring.
Only if you knew who In-ho, or Young-il as you familiar with him, really was – everything would change. If you knew that In-ho had watched your husband die, you'd probably kill him as soon as you'd hear the truth. With or without a weapon.
He hadn't felt like this towards anyone in a long time, not able to explain it either.
You didn't belong here, you didn't even need money that badly – In-ho knew you weren't in debts, he had done a background check on you. Still, you had managed to join the games, along with Gi-hun who was still insanely rich.
Just a couple of days and you already managed to make him feel like this. It felt wrong, almost like it was supposed to be forbidden, even though it wasn't denied in the rules. Forming emotional bonds to the fellow players.
That should be added to the list of things not to do here because you'd only have to watch them die.
What he could do was to vote for red to get you back home, even though In-ho knew that most people were likely to want to stay.
♡♡♡
During Mingle, you were pushed to the floor by someone, it happened so fast you didn't see who it was.
Young-il scooped you up into his arms, the time was running down way too fast, and ran towards an empty room, Gi-hun keeping the door open for you.
"Are you okay?" Young-il asked after laying you down on the floor, worried if you got any nasty bruises from the fall.
"I'm fine," you said. "Don't worry. But thank you."
You gave him a smile, getting a smile back from him.
"I'm sure we'll get back home after tonight's voting," he assured you.
No, you definitely did not get back home.
♡♡♡
You didn't dare to look up at the human chandelier for too long, corpses of familiar players hanging from the ceiling.
You didn't see Young-il anywhere, so he must have been one of the dead players. He must be. But you didn't have the courage to search for his body among the others, the sight alone making you sick.
Gi-hun was silent, he hadn't spoken a word all day, only shooting invisible daggers in Dae-ho's way.
All of this was worse than you had been prepared for.
Jun-ho where the hell are you?
♡♡♡
You survived to the final game, now wearing a black suit like all the other finalists. Right now, you were standing in front of the Front Man, him wearing all black and covering his face with that same mask. The guards had brought you into this room, whatever kind of office this was, for a reason they couldn't tell you. Only saying that the Front Man wanted to have a word with you.
"Show me your face," you ordered, refusing to look away. He didn't answer, only stood still like a statue, hands clasped behind his back. You took a step closer, daring to come forward when it was just the two of you, no armed guards around you. "I said, show me your face. I'm not leaving before you do that."
In-ho had been afraid of this situation happening, no matter how much he had tried to brush it off his mind. You were a strong and tough woman, he knew that you'd be able to progress far in the games – your survival instincts stronger than with many others here. That was one feature you and your ex-husband claimed.
Now, since you didn't give up, the Front Man slowly brought his hands to the edge of the mask, first pulling his hood down and then removing the mask.
Your heart stopped for a second and a new emotion waved through your body, several emotions actually. Along with anger, there was surprise, betrayal, sadness... And something else that you couldn't describe. You narrowed your eyes, at first not knowing what the hell to say.
"Young-il?" you mumbled. "You... you're behind all of these games?"
You didn't see any emotions visible on his face, he looked completely different than the Young-il you had gotten to know. Was it all just an act? Pretending to be your friend? Gi-hun, Dae-ho, Jung-bae... All of them had trusted him – including you. But it was all a lie.
"Yes," was all he replied at first.
Even though you couldn't tell what In-ho was thinking and feeling right now, he was definitely battling with more emotions than you could even imagine. His throat felt tight and his heart heavy. For the first time in a long time, he was... sad? Disappointed in himself? What did he think would happen? You would just forgive him and fall madly in love with him? No, of course that wasn't possible to happen, this wasn't any kind of unconvential fairytale where the villain got the princess in the end.
"Why did you call me to come here?" you asked, trying to stay focused on the mission why you arrived here in the first place.
"You don't have to play tomorrow's game if you don't want to," In-ho explained.
Now this was something you hadn't expected to hear.
"What does that mean? We already voted."
In-ho pulled out a knife. For a second you thought he was going to stab you, but instead he took your hand in his and placed the knife on your palm, closing your fingers around the handle.
"You, Gi-hun and the baby can get out of here. Tomorrow's game can't be played with only three players," In-ho explained.
"Young-il, i..."
"My name's In-ho," he calmly interrupted you.
"In-ho," you corrected yourself, gritting your teeth, growing even more frustrated with him. "What do you expect me to do? To stab everyone in their sleep?" You let out a laugh, shaking your head, but In-ho was completely serious. "What, seriously?"
"I know you'll do anything to survive. I've seen you playing the games. You've proved it during hide and seek," In-ho explained, remembering seeing you kill two people wearing your red vest, protecting your vulnerable friends. You hadn't hesitated, not one bit – at least that's what it looked like through the cameras.
The thought that he had watched and followed you through the cameras gave you the creeps.
This was the man who saved you during Mingle. Was there to support you during the mini games. Comforted you after you lost a friend, forced to watch her die.
Now, that same man was telling you to kill the remaining players.
"Why me?" you asked. "Why not give the knife to Gi-hun if you want him to survive too?"
"Because i know he wouldn't do it. He wouldn't slaughter several people in their sleep," he explained.
"But you know i would," you laughed. "Because you know me so, so well." Your face fell now to much more serious, gaze so angry that you could kill him only by looking at him. "Sorry to disappoint, but I'm not going to become a monster like you."
That's what your husband did, even though it was only one player and she was injured anyway. But that's what he would have done if he was alive. However, In-ho couldn't possibly say that to your face – he'd have the knife stuck on his chest right after.
"What if i just kill you right here and now?" you challenged, knowing that you had the advantage over him.
"Feel free to do that," In-ho said, which was a respond you hadn't prepared to get.
In-ho wanted you to leave the game alive so, so badly. No matter what it would take, he wanted you to live. However, he couldn't just pull you out of the game just because he had grown to like you. He already let a baby compete as a player which he knew was a sick thing to do.
He had tried to suffocate his feelings towards you but they were expanding into such large measures that it was soon going to be impossible to have control over them.
"This is a test, isn't it?" you chuckled, looking at the silver blade from both sides until returning your gaze at the man in front of you. "This is a test to see if these games have changed me into a sick fuck like you."
In-ho didn't say anything back. Neither did he take a step back to get distance to you when you pressed the knife against his chest, but not yet pushing the blade in. Only the tip of the blade scratching the black fabric of his jacket.
There was something in his eyes that you couldn't comprehend. Couldn't figure out what he was feeling at this moment. It looked like he was slowly giving up with life, leaving the decision of his fate in your hands.
"Was any of it true?" you asked. "Was it all just an act? Did you make up stories about your wife?"
"I never lied to you or made up stories that weren't true," In-ho answered. "None of the things i've said were lies." He kept a short pause, debating whether to start opening up about the death of his wife and how it affected him, but he knew that you didn't want to listen to any sob stories which were supposed to give a reason to his actions. There wasn't a good reason for all he had done.
For what he had let himself to become.
♡♡♡
The final game was absolutely chaotic. How could anyone, as a group, possibly choose three people who they wanted to kill among their group? Obviously nobody wanted to die, and none of you was able to decide who should die and who should live. It all ended in fighting each other until almost everyone would be dead.
The fact that you had brought the knife, which In-ho had given you earlier, with you didn't help the situation at all – it made it worse. At one point the knife flew on the pillar for everyone to see; for another weapon to use.
On the first pillar, two people fell to their deaths. On the second pillar Myung-gi attacked you with the knife, stabbing you on your thigh to slow you down. Blood was pouring down your leg, and you collapsed on the ground.
You managed to go and grab the baby into your arms, protecting her the best you could. Another player was going to attack you, but Gi-hun pushed him off the pillar to his death.
When the third round started, you felt the world shatter into pieces and your body stopping from functioning. Everything seemed to slow down, panic rising inside your body.
No.
No, this wasn't happening. The only players that were left were you, the baby and Gi-hun. Everyone else was dead.
This wasn't how it was supposed to go. Jun-ho was supposed to find the island with his crew so you could end this horrible game. But there you were, the three of you standing there in silence. One of you had to die.
"You know, me and Sang-woo were the only survivors for the final game," Gi-hun told you, a hint of smile rising on his lips for the memory of his friend. "He sacrificed himself so i could live."
No, don't you fucking do this now. Don't you dare. That was what you wanted to say, but weren't able to get the words out of your mouth.
"I think this time i'll have to sacrifice myself to save you," Gi-hun said, trying to smile but failing at that, then taking one look at Jun-hee's child. "Take good care of her, alright?"
He said a few more words, until let himself fall off the edge. You weren't able to do anything, nothing but stand there frozen still.
The game was finished. It was all over. Everyone was dead, except you and Jun-hee's child. Even Gi-hun was lying dead on the floor in his own pool of blood, sacrificing himself to save you and the baby.
455 dead. Two remained, one who had joined the games only in the end. You wanted to cry, needed to cry, but no tears could come out. The plan you had together with Gi-hun had failed miserably. Where was Jun-ho? Had he found this island at all? Was he still wandering around the sea aimlessly?
You had failed. And now you would walk out of here just with a newborn baby. The hell were you going to do with her? Adopt her and become a single mother?
You sat down on the pillar, the baby in your arms. You felt numb, emotionless, like all the life had been ripped out of your body even though you were still breathing and your heart beating.
Soon, someone appeared to the pillar. The Front Man, now without the mask to hide his identity.
"I'm not going anywhere with you," you spat, even though you knew that you had to get out of here, you couldn't just keep sitting there.
"Y/N," In-ho sighed. "This place is going to explode in 20 minutes. For you and the baby's sake i'd suggest you to come with me."
Explode?
You tried to stand up but the pain in your leg was too intense to put a lot weight on it, blood still pouring from the wound which Myung-gi had caused with a knife.
Eventually In-ho pulled you up by your arm, forcing you to come with him.
"Let go of me," you mumbled, trying to get yourself free, no matter how much your injured leg hurt. But In-ho didn't let go. Instead, he wrapped his arm around your waist to keep you somewhat balanced as you walked forward, heading towards the nearest exit to get out of the island and to the ship.
♡♡♡
It would take a while to reach a hospital to tend your stab wound, so In-ho had you sit down when you were in the ship, safe from the island.
"Y/N," In-ho said softly. "You can despise me, i don't blame you for that, but i don't want you to bleed out and die now. Let me stitch you up, alright?"
You didn't resist, knowing the wound was too severe to wait any longer to be tended.
In-ho's hand on your bare skin radiated shivers all around your leg and spine. You tried to ignore the sight of him being so gentle and caring with you, helping you instead of letting you die like he did all those other players. It almost felt like under that cold shell of his he might have cared about you.
You wanted this man dead. To kill him right there and then. But you knew it would never bring your husband back, no matter how much you would try to pray for that to happen. You hated yourself for not being able to do that. To get your revenge; an eye for an eye. You already knew killing him wouldn't make you feel any better, it would make no difference, other than to mark you as a murderer as well.
You knew that once you got back home, you would instantly regret letting this man walk free. Knowing that he would get away with this, since you had absolutely no proof to the authorities of anything that had happened on the island. Everything exploded and burned down.
You hated him being nice to you. Kind and caring, having treated you well since the beginning, like you were special, while you only felt hatred towards him.
But in these moments, it was hard to see him as a cold-blooded psychopath who didn't care about people dying. People who were desperate and needed help.
"I know it doesn't help but..." In-ho said, not sure how he should continue. "But i'm sorry all of this had to happen."
And he meant it. Every word, just for you. For nobody else but you.
His words and the tone of his voice did sound genuine but you weren't too fast to actually believe them.
When he was done stitching you up and cleaning the blood away, he went to search for new pair of pants for you.
"They are probably a size too large for you but they're all i could get you know," In-ho said and offered you black pants. "Let me know if you need anything else."
Then, he left you alone with the baby.
♡♡♡
Watching you walk away hurt In-ho way more than it should have. Way more than what he had been prepared to. He hadn't felt a sting like this in his heart in a long time, the feeling strange and almost unknown.
No, more like forgotten.
It was like watching his wife and child leave him all over again.
You didn't even care to say a goodbye. And In-ho didn't expect you to.

Hey..!! I was just trying to cope with the death of my queen..(the one and only cho hyun ju ✨) so I wanted to request a fic that I can cry to about how full of fluff it is..🤧 so basically something simple like when reader gets her period on a rainy day (no idea why I said rainy day but it sounds cute) and hyun ju tries her best to help like the sweetheart she is..nothing just pure fluff 🌸
Cramps & Cuddles
Hyun-ju x Reader
Summary: As above.
A/N: On my own period too rn but not having her to take care of me... 😔💔 reality is cruel. Hope it's fluffy enough <3
♤♤
You: where are you?
Hyun-ju <3: Home, what's up?
You: i don't want to bother u but um... could u please do me a favor?
Hyun-ju <3: Depends. What kind of favor?
You: uh, um. this is a little awkward but could u go to the store for me? i'm not uh able to leave my house rn
Hyun-ju <3: Of course. What do you need?
You texted her a list of the items you needed.
You: oh and uh just use the spare key to come inside
You put your phone away, sitting on the toilet with your shorts and panties dropped on your ankles. You leaned your elbows on your knees and hid your face into your hands, even though there was nobody to hide it from.
You had run out of toilet paper, had no pads in the drawer and couldn't even find any napkins either – absolutely nothing what you could use to prevent blood from staining your pants while you'd walk to the store right around the corner from your house.
You hated asking for favors but Hyun-ju was close enough to you, having known her for several years, so you felt comfortable asking stuff like this from her. She also lived quite close to your place, just fifteen minutes by walking.
It took about half an hour for you to hear the front door open and close, you still sitting on the toilet.
"Can i open the door?" Hyun-ju asked behind the door, you not being able to reach it on your own right now. You quickly took a towel and laid it on your lap to cover your lower body.
"Yeah come in," you called and swallowed. Hyun-ju stepped inside, carrying a packet of toilet paper and three different kind of pads along with tampons.
"I wasn't sure which kind i should get for you, what you used, so i took one of each," Hyun-ju said. "I tried to ask one girl there if she could tell me what i should buy."
You hadn't specified the brand of the ones you used but these could do perfectly. Hyun-ju had never gotten period herself and hadn't bought pads either, so she had been a little lost at the store.
"Excuse me, um," Hyun-ju started, getting a young girl's attention nearby. She felt awkward doing so, asking help from a stranger but she didn't want to get you something totally wrong. "I'm trying to get pads for my friend but i'm not sure what i should take."
It had been stupid of you not explaining in more detail what she should buy.
"Thank you, so much," you said and opened the packet of tampons first.
"I know you only asked for the pads and toilet paper but i got you a few other things too," Hyun-ju said when you arrived to the kitchen. She pulled the rest of the items from the plastic bag, laying them on the table. "I got you painkillers, just in case you didn't have them or had lost them somewhere. Then, three types of chocolate and also tea, your favorite."
Hyun-ju left you alone to give you privacy, closing the door behind her. You tried not to take too long in the bathroom and keep Hyun-ju waiting much longer, even though she wouldn't care.
"Oh, you shouldn't have bothered to do all of that," you said, blush rising on your cheeks due to the kind effort she had put on you. Then, you got another cramp on your lower stomach, making you wince and your body almost folding in half.
Hyun-ju poured you a glass of cold water, offering it to you along with a painkiller. She knew you well and was sure that you hadn't taken one yet – you only bothered to take them when the pain had become really bad and not in the beginning what you should have done.
"I wanted to do it," Hyun-ju insisted and smiled while you swallowed the pill with the water. "I don't want you to suffer alone, i want to help any way i can."
"Well, thank you. Seriously." You smiled, not being used to someone taking care of you.
All your life you had gotten used to doing everything on your own, even most of your childhood, your parents neglecting you, being too lazy to fill your basic needs. You never asked help from your friends either unless you really couldn't do it by yourself. Now too, even though Hyun-ju said that she was happy to help you, you felt bad for bothering her.
She had even bought your favorite chocolate, knowing your favorites in everything. Knowing exactly which things you liked and which you hated; it baffled you how someone could remember all of that about you. Bothering to get to know all the little things.
"Do you want me to stay or be alone? We could watch a movie if you'd like," Hyun-ju suggested. You were about to open your mouth and respond but she spoke first. "Before you say anything, you didn't interrupt anything what i was originally doing. I had no plans for tonight and i'd gladly spend it with you."
That pretty smile of hers made your heart flutter every single time. You weren't sure if she was aware how every smile and her touch on you made blutterflies swarm inside your stomach and you'd rather keep it to yourself too. Every time she even put her hand on your shoulder, you went insane. Every time she hugged you, you almost exploded – in the best way possible.
You agreed to spend the evening together and went to lie down on the bed since the TV was located in your bedroom. You brought all the chocolates with you, probably getting brown chocolate stains on the white sheets next morning but right now you didn't care about anything.
Your stomach still hurt like hell and your skin was sweaty, you were somehow hot and cold at the same time.
Hyun-ju stepped into the bedroom, carrying two things with her, one in each hand: a cup of tea and a heating pad. She laid the tea on your bedside table, offering the heating pad to you.
"Careful, i heated it up probably a little too hot, i don't want you to burn your skin," Hyun-ju explained, an apologetic expression on her face.
"Thank you. You've been way too helpful and kind to me," you said, laying the heating pad on your lower stomach, keeping your shirt between your skin and the pad so you wouldn't totally burn your skin. God, it felt so good.
Hyun-ju climbed into the bed with you, pulling a thin blanket over both of you.
"What do you want to watch?" she asked, holding the remote control and putting the TV on.
"You choose, i'm fine with everything," you replied and shrugged.
"Anything, huh?" she smirked, about to go to the horror section just to tease you.
"Fine, at least not horror or something where i need to concentrate on the plot too much to keep up," you explained, feeling mentally too tired for complicated plots at the moment.
Right then, it started to rain outside, the raindrops hitting the window that was covered with red curtains. You loved rain so much, it having a calming effect on you.
Hyun-ju scrolled through different movies and categories, neither of you able to decide which one to choose.
"Alright, tell me a number and i'll press play on the one that comes up on the list as i browse forward," Hyun-ju said. "Otherwise we'll be browsing here until your tea gets cold."
"Hm, alright. Let's say... nine," you decided.
You ended up with a romantic comedy which you had heard of but had never seen. You rarely watched comedies but it felt perfect for this moment, the plot always being quite predictable.
At first, when the movie started, there was a gap between the two of you but as the movie went forward, you had ended up leaning against her shoulder (after you had finished your tea). Hyun-ju put her arm around you, it felt like the most natural thing to do while lying down together.
You were about to take another piece of chocolate but instead of the chocolate, your fingers met with Hyun-ju's hand. Both of you turned your heads to look at each other, faces closer than you first expected.
"Sorry, you take it," Hyun-ju chuckled.
After some time your eyelids started to feel heavy, the cramps starting to fade off too momenturaly. It was still raining outside, making the situation you were in way too cozy to be able to stay awake much longer.
"Would you like to –" Hyun-ju started but was interrupted by a slight snore coming out of your mouth.
You nuzzled yourself tighter against Hyun-ju in your sleep, head resting on her chest and hand on her stomach; right on the spot where butterflies were flying free inside Hyun-ju.
Hyun-ju's heart melted, looking down at your sleeping figure. She had the need to go to the bathroom and also get a glass of water but she didn't dare to wake you up. The movie was still on, about twenty minutes left, so Hyun-ju finished the movie on her own, brushing your hair and massaging your scalp with her fingers. You were completely relaxed and limp in her arms.
When the movie ended, Hyun-ju kissed the top of your head and closed her own eyes as well, the sound of rain hitting the window the only thing she heard before she too drifted into sleep.

Please, forgive me (i love you) - Part 2
Thanos x Reader
Summary: The final game is here and Thanos' priority is to get you and your baby out of the games alive.
Part 1
A/N: Writing an epilogue so y'all not asking for part 3 i have too many requests waiting in my inbox lmao. This was really fun to write tho <3 Hope y'all enjoy it too.
☆☆☆
You and Jun-hee with your babies, Thanos, Gi-hun, Myung-gi, player 100, Min-su and Nam-gyu were the finalists, the players who had survived to play the final game. The last game before you’d be able to go back home — if you lived, that was.
Right now, you were about to eat a special dinner as a celebration of your ability to progress this far in the games. Surviving all the way to this point. And god damn, the food actually looked delicious and you could eat however much you wanted.
You almost felt like an inmate eating their last meal before getting executed on death row.
Before you were about to sit down at the table, Thanos approached you, dressed up in a black suit like everyone else, including you. You didn’t think you’d ever seen him in a suit this clean and fancy, but it certainly looked good on him.
"Damn, señorita," Thanos gasped as he looked at you from head to toe, his gaze hungry and smile wide. "I already know you look good in a dress but in a suit? Hot. So, so sexy."
"What have i told you about calling me 'señorita'?" you sighed, the nickname annoying you – and Thanos knew that very well.
"Sorry, sorry," Thanos quickly apologized and lifted his hands in the air as a surrender for a second, until resting his palm against his heart. He took a step closer to you, invading your personal space. "Sweetheart. Mother of my child. Mama–"
"Do not say mamacita," you spat.
"You mami, me papi," Thanos smirked, pointing first at you and then at himself, following a wink.
You crossed your arms against your chest. "You want me to call you papi now?"
"Baby you can call me whatever you want," Thanos said and put his finger under your chin. You pushed his hand away from you.
After the dinner, you went back to your bed to get yourself some privacy as you fed your baby as well, out of the sight of others. Thanos disappeared somewhere, probably to go to the bathroom.
Then, Nam-gyu approached you as you were just finished with feeding your baby. You furrowed your eyebrows, searching for Thanos around the room. When you didn't see him, you looked back at Nam-gyu.
"What do you want?" you asked, a little too coldly. Nam-gyu had pissed you off since day one, you had no urge to get friendly with him now either.
"Just came to see your baby," Nam-gyu smirked and leaned in to take a closer look on her but you put more distance between the two of you. "Come on, i just wanna see how much she resembles Thanos."
"Oi, Nam-su," Thanos called from the distance, his steps coming closer to you. Thank fucking god. "I go to take a piss for a second and you're already bothering my girl, huh?"
"I just came to say hi," Nam-gyu answered, smiling innocently, but you could notice the way his jaw clenched for the name.
"Yeah? Well she doesn't wanna talk to you," Thanos said and crossed his arms.
“I think she can talk for herself,” you stated.
“Yeah? You wanna talk to this little shit?” Thanos asked, raising his eyebrows.
“No thanks,” you huffed and stood up, the baby in your arms. You shook your head and left the two guys to argue by themselves, heading towards Gi-hun to see how he was doing, sitting on his bed by himself.
When you were gone, Nam-gyu pulled Thanos slightly more to the side, making sure they were far enough from you that you couldn't hear what they were talking about.
“Alright, give me another pill,” Nam-gyu insisted.
“Nah, think I’ve given you enough,” Thanos stated, becoming annoyed how Nam-gyu was constantly begging him for drugs. Should have brought his own here if he was that desperate for fuck’s sake.
"Come on, man," Nam-gyu groaned, his hands shaking. "I know you have more, give me one pill, just one."
"I don't have them anymore, alright," Thanos said strictly.
Nam-gyu looked at him dumbfounded and shocked, starting to panic Surely he had heard him wrong. "What the fuck do you mean you don't have any? Jesus fucking christ, i need more.”
"You being an addict isn't my fucking problem," Thanos gritted through his teeth. "Should have brought your own if you're that desperate."
Nam-gyu grabbed Thanos by his sleeve, pulling him back towards himself when Thanos was about to leave. "Thanos, please –"
Thanos didn't even let him finish his sentence, pushing Nam-gyu harshly on the floor.
"I said," Thanos repeated. "I don't fucking have any."
Thanos needed drugs too, he had to admit it to himself – he craved for a pill. But he had to ignore that feeling and concentrate on what was more important: you.
Thanos turned his head back towards you, chatting with Gi-hun, smile spread on your face. Giggling at something the old man said to you. God, how much Thanos wished you'd smile like that to him too some day. He missed your smile and laugh so, so much.
Thanos spared one last glance at Nam-gyu, who was shaking and pulling his hair still on the floor, then walked back to sit on his own bed. His leg bounced up and down, sweat rising on his forehead.
Around half an hour later, you approached Thanos and sat next to him, who was still sitting on the same position, leg bouncing. He had been deep in his thoughts, the memories with you coming back to him. How you first met, your first date, first kiss… and the last time you had slept together, which resulted to the child you had birthed here. But all the fights covered the good moments together, all the shouting and objects thrown against the wall…
"Everything alright?" you asked, putting your hand on his knee to make his leg relax.
"Yeah, no problem," Thanos mumbled.
Both of you sat in silence for a while, neither of you knowing what to say, how to break the silence. You had so much unsaid things between the two of you that would have needed solving but you didn’t know how to bring them up. You didn’t want to. Neither did he.
"Can i… can i hold her?" Thanos finally asked. He had held her only once and that had been during the jump rope game. He had proved to you that he was very well able to hold a baby but you were still hesitant to let him handle her. Were mothers just automatically overprotective of their children and didn't feel comfortable others touching them? Or was it just Thanos you weren't sure to trust just yet? You couldn't be sure, perhaps both.
You ended up handing her over to Thanos who handled her again like her bones were glass.
A week ago Thanos' life was just about drugs and music while being drowned in debts and mind even spiraling in suicidal thoughts. He couldn't have imagined how things could change so fast to something completely different. If he'd get out of here alive, along with you, he would be able to pay his debts and he'd have a new reason to live again, a reason to quit drugs and get his life together – you and your daughter. His daughter. The child you and him created.
"Y/N," Thanos said quietly, getting your attention. "Why didn't you call me? Tell me about the pregnancy?"
You were silent for a moment, building the answer inside your head before answering. "I didn't think you'd care."
"The hell you mean i wouldn't care?" Thanos asked, sounding offended.
"You hadn't exactly paid attention on me, I felt like you didn’t care about me. It was all just about rapping and drugs and i just," you started, not sure how to continue. “I just wanted nothing to do with you anymore.”
Your words and the fragile tone of your voice, the way you avoided eye contact with him, broke his heart. Thanos hadn’t realized how shitty he had been towards you, but now thinking back, he had truly messed up.
“I promise I’ll change. For you,” he said.
You could see that he meant that but wasn’t confident that he’d be able to keep his promise when you’d actually get out of here and settle down to your normal life again as if nothing had happened. You didn’t say that out loud, only turned your head away from him. He had disappointed you so many times. Sure, now you had a baby together but it didn’t automatically mean that he’d be a changed man.
He’d change for the baby, not for you. That’s what you felt like it to be.
☆☆☆
The final game started the next day. You were so, so close to the end, you couldn’t die now. The rules were simple: you had to choose to kill three people among you. So, one player on each pillar. The thought alone made you sick, but whatever to entertain the VIPs, you assumed. If the rules were followed and only three were to be eliminated, five of you would walk free, but you weren’t confident of that happening; there would definitely be more death victims.
“I’ll protect you, don’t worry,” Thanos whispered to you, holding your cheek with his hand. “I won’t let anyone push you off the pillar, got it?”
You just nodded your head.
All the players were now standing on the first pillar, trapped extremely high from the ground. You’d only have to push someone off the pillar and they’d die by hitting the ground. Before you had only voted whether you wanted to leave or stay playing the games, but now you were about to vote who you wanted dead.
Whoever came up with these games had something very, very wrong in their head.
The first round seemed to be easy, even though deciding who should die would never be easy. Not in the real word — this didn’t feel like a part of the real world. It was a separate world which you previously knew, here there weren’t any rules or morals.
Everyone seemed to agree that the player 100 should go down and that’s exactly what Nam-gyu ended up doing: pushed him off the pillar with the metal pipe.
First round, finished. Seven players left.
This round was a little more difficult, since you had personally become more familiar with each person around you — some much more than others.
Gi-hun, Jun-hee and Thanos were definitely out of question. You didn’t know Min-su well, he barely talked to anyone except Se-mi, but he seemed like an honest and kind kid. Nam-gyu, on the other hand, was a complete asshole and had even killed people for fun and for the greed of more money to him. Although, you weren’t sure how close he had become with Thanos. Would Thanos care about him dying?
The arguing and shouting who should die was making you lose your mind, Nam-gyu, Myung-gi and Thanos doing most of the shouting. The time was running down second by second with each word.
Then, Nam-gyu approached Min-su, making him back towards the edge of the pillar, afraid what Nam-gyu was going to do to him. Min-su and Nam-gyu were now standing face to face in front of each other.
“Now, maybe you should be the one we’ll eliminate, hm?” Nam-gyu thought out loud. “That way you could finally get back to the bitch you called your friend. Se-mi, was it? Don’t you want to be with her, hm? You could bond over the fact that i killed both of you.”
You could see the anger starting to boil inside Min-su, his fists tightening and jaw clenching. Nam-gyu only found it hilarious, laughing at his face. That was it. The breaking point.
Min-su grabbed Nam-gyu’s shirt, switching places with him so that Nam-gyu was now the one to stand at the edge and ready to fall down.
“What the fu—“
But Nam-gyu wasn’t able to finish his sentence, because right then, without another thought, Min-su pushed Nam-gyu off the edge, sending him to his death. However, before Nam-gyu fell, he managed to grab Min-su by his leg, taking him with him.
If Nam-gyu was about to go down, apparently so was Min-su who was now holding on the edge with his hands. Min-su wasn’t very strong, so it didn’t take longer than a few seconds for his fingers to slip and make them both hit the floor — their corpses lying on the ground next to each other.
All of you stood still on the pillar, shocked at what had just happened, not having expected that sort of result. Thanos walked to the edge to look down where his ‘friend’ was lying on a pool of blood, but you didn’t want to take a single look at them.
Second round, finished. Five players left. You, Thanos, Jun-hee, Gi-hun and Myung-gi.
One of you had to die. But apparently Myung-gi had already decided that he wasn’t the one to die today, instantly grabbing the long metal pipe ready to push one of the four players down. Although, basically three; he and everyone else knew he wouldn’t harm Jun-hee like that.
Myung-gi was angry especially at Gi-hun. Why the hell had he become so close to Jun-hee and daring to carry her baby instead of the baby's real dad? Was Gi-hun trying to be some sort of a father figure to him? The thought of it made Myung-gi absolutely furious, boiling inside.
Myung-gi and Gi-hun ended up fighting, which eventually resulted to the same situation as with Nam-gyu and Minsu: Gi-hun holding the edge of the pillar with his hands, Myung-gi having a firm grip on his leg. Gi-hun was definitely stronger than Min-su, so he managed to stay there a little longer.
Thanos glanced at you, looking at the situation completely horrified but of course you weren’t strong enough to help him; he’d only unintentionally pull you down with him. Thanos had seen you spend time with Gi-hun between the games. He could tell you enjoyed his company, though Thanos didn’t understand why the hell you cared to hang out with an old man like him.
Eventually, Thanos ran towards Gi-hun to help him back up. Did he do that for simply the good of his heart or because you’d be proud of him playing the hero of the day? Probably the last option.
“Come on, man. Kick him off and take my hand, I’ll pull you up,” Thanos said, quiet enough that the others behind him didn’t hear.
Then, you realized something horrifying and your eyes widened.
Nobody had pressed the button. You ran quickly to the center of the pillar and pressed your foot hard on the red button, turning it green.
Round three has started.
Just a few seconds later, you heard a noise of Myung-gi’s body hitting the ground. After a little bit of a struggle, Thanos managed to get Gi-hun back up to stand on his own two feet.
Congratulations. You have now passed the game.
You, Jun-hee, Gi-hun and Thanos were the winners of the games, along with two babies. Out of 456 people, 4 of them would walk out of there free and alive — and you were one of them. You. You and your baby, along with your baby’s dad.
Thanos rushed to you and instantly cupped your face with his hands.
“I really, really want to kiss you right now,” he whispered, looking directly into your eyes and waiting for the permission.
You glanced at his lips and was the one to close the gap between the two of you, lips pressing against each other. The kiss was soft and slow, loving almost, careful. Thanos was afraid you’d back off if he kissed you too hard — it was completely opposite how Thanos had usually kissed you.
“I love you,” Thanos whispered.
You didn’t say it back, but Thanos didn’t expect an answer. He’d make sure to treat you well so that some day you’d be able to say it to him again. You’d be able to love him again, the way he would love you from now on. Cherish you and your kid together.
“Let’s go home, yeah?”

EPILOGUE
10 years later
In-ho was sitting at a bench in a park, enjoying the summer weather, the sun high up in the cloudless sky.
Then, he saw someone familiar in the distance. Someone who he hadn’t seen in almost a decade.
You, along with a small girl who resembled you awfully lot.
He looked at the two of you for a while, seeing how you had changed throughout these years. There wasn't that much of a change but you looked... happy. Smile wide on your face you sent your daughter to go play football with her friends.
The last time In-ho had seen you was a little while after the games when you had been brought back here from the island. He had visited you once after a few weeks to see how you were doing, though not approaching you, not letting you notice him. In-ho had gone to see each of the winners: Gi-hun, Jun-hee and Thanos as well. Looking at them from the distance. Only once, then he had left you alone for good.
Until now seeing you again. All the memories of the deadly childhood games were coming back to his mind. Memories he hadn't thought about in years.
In-ho was so deep in his thoughts that he hadn’t even realized how a ball had hit his ankle. The same girl In-ho had looked at just a moment ago came to take the ball back to her.
“I’m sorry, sir. I didn’t mean to kick the ball towards you,” she apologized, looking embarrassed.
“It’s alright,” he said, a small smile on his face.
The girl looked at him for a moment, wondering if she should say something again to make sure In-ho wasn’t mad at her for disrespecting elders like that. But then she decided to just leave back to her friends who she was playing football with in the middle of the park.
The last time she saw her was when she was just a newborn baby wrapped in the green jacket with your number.
In-ho looked back towards you, now with a man who In-ho quickly recognized as well, even though he didn’t have his purple hair anymore. Choi Su-bong pressed a kiss on your cheek and put his arm around you, saying something to you but of course In-ho couldn’t hear the conversation this far.
In-ho had liked you since the beginning, you were a naturally likable person, and he was glad that you had been one of the winners, living your life with a happy smile.
