no one plays weird little guys with the same commitment and verve as Brian Kevin Murphy. kugrash doesn't just go to the park to find some pigeons, he raises his 'little rat arms' and summons them en masse to kingston's gorgeous, pristine apartment. riz doesn't just hide behind a car, he rolls into a ball, hides in fabian's backpack, promptly throws up out of excitement, gets lobbed across the parking lot, and then bites gorgug's shirt in half to make himself a toga, because gorgug's big and he's so small, and so covered in his own vomit. murph just gets it. shoutout krudbert. shoutout gerard prince of greenleigh.

Honestly, I love the idea of Jedi lineages.
The idea that the public thinks of the Jedi as having no family and being alone, until they overhear a padawan talking about their grandmaster or sibling padawans. Or they overhear one of the Council talking about how their newest grandpadawan is getting on.
For the Clone Wars, there needs to be the drama of people finding out Dooku is Obi-Wans Grandmaster (grandfather). I want genuine plot around their difficult relationship.
People in the Senate who doubt General Kenobi because he’s the grandson of the Separatist Leader, people in the Seperatist Alliance who doubt Dooku could kill Obi-Wan. Dooku doubting if he could kill Obi-Wan.
People who think both are more powerful for being able to fight their family for what they believe in.
People finding out Dooku was Yodas padawan and making jokes about that.
I want Clones realising there are families, I want civilians finding it out. I want the Jedi becoming more human to the rest of the Galaxy over the course of the war, as more is revealed.
Clones who fall in love with their Jedi and then have to work out their place in the family.
People who see scary Master Windu and then see him interacting with his tiny grandpadawan Caleb.
People who see Unflappable General Kenobi joking with his sarcastic teenage grandpadawan about his padawan (her master)’s clothing choices.
People realising that the Jedi don’t just refer to Yoda as their grandmaster because he is the Grand Master of the Order but because he is like a grandparent to all, especially when he visits the Crèches.
People who realise Jedi feel loss. That Masters who lose their Padawans losea child. That padawans who lose their Masters lose a parent. That masters who loose a knighted student lose a child, just a grown up child, and that if they have a new student, that padawan lost a sibling.
That Dooku may have fallen when Master Jinn was killed because he had lost his son, and that was why the Jedi forbid attachments. That they love but don’t get attached and that there is a difference.
I just want lineage feeeeeelssss.
There’s so much potential.

I've been up for about 36 hours now inventing ninja politics, altering timelines, and poking at my drafts... Oh yeah, this is gonna take a while 😓
