But I should get back to the competitions at the very latest in autumn, when I have hours of commute with nothing else to do but scroll tumblr and schedule polls again... So, I could just keep making the polls with the info you've already seen, which has been provided upon submission, oooor I could gather all the textual (because there is so much art that it wouldn't fit in the ten-pics-per-post cap, so just text) propaganda we have so far and put it into the info about each contestant with their polls.

Pros: you will see everything in one place instead of checking out the tags (which btw each OC has a specified #ocs_*OC name* where the propaganda and their polls are all stored)

Cons: more text to read or uh scroll past to get to the poll, and it has the potential of getting longer with each passing round

This is Saberattle, her three words are athletic, mischievous, and sage. She’s a mouser on a pirate ship and a pirate in her own right, though she’s trying to wind down a bit now that she’s past her prime. He doesn’t have any children, but every time he can visit his extended family he spoils all the kittens rotten. One time, she got in trouble with her brother for teaching his kids how to make Molotov cocktails (nobody got hurt thankfully).

They are a silly little guy :) He's a deltarune oc and he's half cat monster (with wings) and half human (although the human side doesn't show much), so they've got a bravery soul. I made them for an rp that I'm doing with friends and throughout the course of the rp they've slowly become less insecure and have made so so many friends. They are very soft and I love them.

Vote for them cause they're a silly little guy! And they've got a cool dagger and they love to cause chaos sometimes. And they have wings that look like the bi pride flag because they are bi and queer rights ❤

Lane (Helane)

she/her

Lane is equivalent to a teenager age wise. She is a combination of lynx and horned owl. She is big, and fluffy, and winged. Her lauer of fur coats a layer of feathers, which is hell to dry. She's mottled and striped in many shades of brown. Her ears have tufts on them. Her eyes are more owlish, and her feet are big and fluffed like a lynx's. Sometimes she gets some aches from having big wings on a cat spine that wasn't meant to hold them, so she is very familiar with painkillers (and in the future might get a brace to help support everything).

She's traveling alone, but along the way adopted two girls as her sisters and looks out for them (one is a bat/kangaroo and the other is a clay construct that came alive). Though she's pretty withdrawn with most people, she does all she can to look out for her little siblings. When it was just her, she was planning on being a lone traveller forever; for them, she's looking for somewhere safe to put down roots.

He is a stray in a post-apocalyptic world and mostly a loner, tough fiercly protective of his friends. This cat would probably fight gods for his friends. He might even win, tough at a steep price, as soemthing else sometimes stares out of his eyes, with claws and teeth and howling for blood. He wasn't named by his mother or imself and instead was given his name by others he encountered. The creature that rules the world now is of the opinion that he should be dead by now and nothing more then another dead creature on the street. That he isn't is practically a betrayal. Darkfur doesn't care and continues to fight for every second of his life.

He actively withstands a god. Pretends to be mean, but is sectretly cuddly.

When I was a real little kid, Dad would have ongoing characters to tell me bedtime stories about each night, like episodes of TV shows. Cherry Lipstick was one of those beloved bedtime protagonists. I loved hearing about her adventures with her friends. The one I remember best was when she made Green Been Ice Cream. She went on and on about how tasty it was as she ate it, and asked her friends to try some. None of them wanted any, very dramatically exclaiming their disgust for green beans. Until finally, one was brave enough to try. That friend gave it a taste and discovered that Green Bean Ice Cream is actually green-colored chocolate ice cream. Cherry Lipstick had been playing a joke!

A former housecat in the same post-apcalyptic world as Darkfur. Incredible fluffy, but with sharp claws. She is possesed by a sort-of eldritch horror, which allows her to understand most languages and see things that others don't. She does risk madness with this however and has to deal with the pressure of hearing and understanding the howls of the god that rules the ruined world. Stubborn and optimistic, but with a core of steel. Mina is friends with Darkfur and is the main guide of the group of survivors she belongs to.

She can see who you vote for and will be dissapointed if you vote wrong.

They're from a whole planet of unicorn cats and they crash landed on earth with their kittycat spaceship. They hate wearing clothes.

Their name, Exoskeleton, comes from my two names, X and Echo. The naming process here was: How can I combine X and Echo? -> Exo -> What words have Exo in them? -> Exoskeleton -> CAT WITH BONE PATTERN so yeah :3

SHES MY LITTLE MEOW MEOW (LITERALLY) I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!! Out of all the ElementCats characters, her story is the one I've put the most thought into. If I had to describe her really badly it'd be "toph beifong but cabinet man" because she is also secretly a computer. Thank you.

Literally my sona because if I put my cat oc, they're a reality breaking no-clip pink visually scarring creature that might've eaten the microwave. So I just put my sona, a skeleton (i'm UTMV fandom) whose ears and tail are made of ink and he has inky pawpads, half anthro legs and feet, and claws on his fingers.

He's gay and his inky paw pads leave pawprints everywhere he goes

Caro is a deeply paranoid and self-absorbed girlfailure of a cat. She is very orange, and has the stupidity to go with it.

After witnessing a cosmic event which she believes to have been the death of god, she began to see herself as a prophet of the endtimes, and started preaching on streetcorners and distributing fliers in an attempt to gain followers for her new religion - preferably ones who would stroke her ego and do her bidding. Because she openly describes her new group as a cult, however, she has only managed to gain one follower, who is also her boyfriend and a sociology student planning on using her and her cult as the topic of his dissertation.

She lives together with her boyfriend in a hollowed out hill, which they treat as a doomsday shelter and use to stockpile food and resources. However, she can't seem to commit to the world ending quite seriously enough, and often leaves the shelter or spends her days idling and bossing her boyfriend around. She's obsessed with making sure he doesn't leave and doesn't doubt her vision of the future, even when she sometimes doubts herself.

I created Caro in high school English class while having extremely high school feelings. I am so devoted to this beast that she has become Real (i.e. I commissioned my friend @/meroaw to make a custom charm of her so she exists in the physical world):

A very sassy but kind cat, Comet goes out of his way to help his friends with investigating the strange goings-on in town. With how much he tries to be helpful and useful, it almost seems like he's trying to compensate for something...

HE'S MY BABYYYYY I'M OBSESSED WITH HIS DESIGN HE LOOKS SO COOL!!! I've been working on his lore recently and it's really fun! He has Dissociative Identity Disorder - I've done research and I'm trying to write him as respectfully as I can - and one of his alters is named Crimson Whiskers. The description is just describing Comet though.

Tumbledown

she/they

Tumbledown is a Warriors OC who was found alone as a kit and brought into a clan. They have always been withdrawn, dreamy, and strange, looking at the world in their own particular way that their clanmates can't always keep up with. They love hearing other cats' ideas and ways of thinking, but they aren't eager to change their own ways just because other cats think they should.

Unfortunately, Tumbledown came of age during a fierce war between the clans, and the death they witnessed around them shook them deeply. Although they'd always been lazy and reluctant about their battle training, they began putting all their energy into becoming as strong as they could. She was a coward who ran from battle at every opportunity, but she was sure that if she was attacked, she would be able to defend herself.

As the war wore on, Tumbledown became close with the clan's healer. Healers are forbidden from being in relationships, but the two of them fell in love anyway. As the war came to an end, Tumbledown was relieved, and began to hope that they could have a happy life with their mate, who might one day give up his life as a healer to be with her openly and raise a family together. This would never come to pass, as her mate never came home one night while travelling alone to fulfill the religious duties of a clan healer. He was found dead, with his wounds making it clear that he had been killed by another cat.

Tumbledown blames the clan they were at war with for this death, despite having no real evidence to support this. Where they once cowered in fear, their feelings have twisted into spite and anger at the cats who took their mate from them. They grow increasingly violence and reckless, greatly concerning their clanmates. To make matters worse, they've revealed the nature of their relationship with the deceased healer, and now claim that they have a right to be chosen as the next healer of the clan as a way to carry on their mate's legacy, despite their lack of personal connection with the clan's religion.

Tumbledown is all fucked up in her little heart and brain and for this you must support her.

the voting discrepancy between polls might be bc people might not be able to pick one or the other? at least, there have been a few polls that i really don't know which one to pick because i like both, and then i abstain from voting (or until some new reblog with propaganda comes around and makes it easier to choose). idk if anyone else votes this way too

This could be the case, too, yeah! At least, that also happens to me (although here I still pick someone just to see the results, and usually it ends up being the least-voted for option anyway)

That's almost the amount of followers we have here, yay! But really I'm just excited to be getting whatever number of votes, and I don't really get why some got 70 while others are still in their twenties (because it doesn't really look like it happens because of the creators of the characters that are in those polls, because different polls with characters from one and the same person get different numbers). Honestly, after running best fictional cat getting 70 votes in a week is... A bit weird :D

So I'm not really good at judging how many votes is a lot (esp looking at other OC tournaments that have a way bigger reach). But anything is probably good enough for a niche OC bracket where we didn't even really manage to fill up a full 64-chara bracket while accepting up to 3 characters per person...
