Look, I'm not sure, but I've heard that at that time Dick had already been caught by Batman's editorial team. So, this saga kind of exists just to put an end to the relationship and the Titans themselves. I don't doubt it, because this saga is too strange.

The worst moment of their relationship was during the Mirage saga, when they got married. At that time, Dick was being mind-controlled, which made him often angry. Furthermore, Mirage manipulated Dick into seeing her as Kory and they had a one-night stand. Which for Kory meant betrayal, and she accused him. With the mentality we have today, we know that Dick was abused.

If by some miracle DK from the 1980s came back today, I would delete or reformulate this saga.

Aren’t Dick and Barbara also a thing in the animated Harley Quinn show? DickBabs definitely have been together in shows like Young Justice, Batman Beyond, Batman: The Animated Series and the Titans live action series.

I don’t get why they are whining 🤣 they have their adaptations, yet they say that DickKory shippers never read the comics and that DickKory is only popular because of the 2003 Teen Titans series.

I honestly don't know what's going on in their heads.

You know, I love TT03, it was my childhood and I still like watching it. But I don't think this cartoon has the power to erase an iconic couple lol. The DCAMU was full of hints that they were together, but we only got moments of the couple in Teen Titans Judas Contract, in the live action of Titans and in TTG we got DK, but we also got DB. But the one who stood out the most was DK, so I don't know what they want.

I think they dream of having an adaptation of the Nightwing comics, just with the two of them working together, so much so that they are dying for Gunn to adapt that TT'run. But, if the couple was good, they would have already won over the audience without being the focus. So much so that DK was like that lol.

It’s ironic when people try to belittle someone for liking a certain couple just because they discovered them through an animated series, when the vast majority of modern comic readers, whether from DC or even Marvel, got into these universes through animation during childhood or adolescence. And most people were first introduced to couples like BatCat, DinahOllie, Clois, PeterMJ, etc., through animated shows.

Unfortunately, many of those DB fans get bitter because DickKory receives a lot of mainstream recognition thanks to TT03 and the DCAMU. But if it were DickBabs, none of them would say a thing. I don’t see any of them complaining about their own adaptations in YJ, BTAS, the Titans live-action series, or even the hints in LEGO Batman. If I’m not mistaken, there was even a reference to a past relationship between the two in Gotham Knights, though I believe that’s the game where Barbara ends up with Tim, but anyway.

These cartoons and movies exist precisely for this lol. To introduce these characters to other audiences.

I would venture to say that a minority of DC and Marvel fans read comics these days. Comics, unlike other types of literature, do not have linear stories, which confuses and alienates many people, so it is much more beneficial for DC and Marvel to work with adaptations. However, it is impossible for everything to be adapted, so go for the best.

I don’t ship Chalant but there were so many pissed off people because of DickBabs. They wanted to see the Zatanna and Nightwing relationship continue but DickBabs came in the way. No one cared about DickBabs besides their their fans 🤣

Well, I'm not a fan of Chalant either (I didn't even know he had that name lol) but if DB is so iconic, why do people hardly talk about him in YJ. By the way, the YJ couple I hear the most about is Superboy and Miss Martie.

Why do DickBabs shippers claim that we didn’t read the comics? They always say that DickKory shippers would turn into DickBabs shippers in a heartbeat if we read the comments. But I did…and I don’t like this pairing. Then they attack me for this.

I think it's because TT03 is a very popular show to this day. Many of the post-2000 generation were introduced to the Titans and the couple through this cartoon, including me.

And yes, there is a part of us who have never read comics, who like the couple because of TT03 or the DCAMU, but then I ask you, what's the problem? People have no obligation to stop enjoying a couple or reading comics.

Besides, they forget that we had DB in YJ and the DCAU, and they were completely ignored.

Remember, adaptations cost money, if someone comes to attack you because of this, just answer that if DB was that good, it would have received an adaptation a long time ago. If Dickbabs barely gets any adaptations, it's not the public's fault
