The suckers are worked with the front of the tentacle, so there's no "sew 10,000 suckers on" step at the end

Someday goal is partially-submerged octopus, but the single tentacle is kinda fun

AM radio is like literal magic. There is music all around us that we can't hear, and to hear it you just have to tap a crystal (diode) to the earth and listen to it with another magic rock (magnet) and a tin can. You dont even need electricity to make it work because this music around us is literally all the power you need. Oh and at night when the sun has set, the light of the day gets replaced by MORE music because the signals can travel further at night. This is magic. If you even care.

So this may be something you can't eat. Or soemthing you don't want to eat. It is probably the second if not the first. I am sorry.

But I did recently witness on a backpacking trip a man sadly pouring beer on his cheerios. When asked, he said he was out of milk and this was his life now. Apparently it was better than it should have been.

So just know that in the space of all possible foods, (gf) beerios is an option.

Almost made the mistake of posting about wanting cereal but how ingesting milk rn would probably fuck me over, and in a rare moment of clarity realized this would only invite a host of well-meaning but annoying people to suggest dairy milk alternatives that either a) will kill me upon ingestion and I do mean that quite literally or b) require a trip to the grocery store which isn’t happening because it’s midnight or c) suggest water on my cornflakes and by all means, you do you, but absolutely not for me, thanks.

And then there’d be the bonus points people who’d get angry over dairy milk as a concept, but also the other people angry over the ecological ramifications of dairy milk alternatives.

So anyway, I saved us all some annoying bullshit and threw a frozen gluten free waffle in the oven 👍

So fun fact for this! Last year I ran a Bloodborne-themed tabletop game, and one of my players had a large amount of food-grade dried pig's blood left over from a LARP she was running.

Apparently blood can substitute for eggs in baking, so my partner and I made Blood-kerdoodles for game. For all of them, we substituted reconstituted pig's blood for the eggs. Some of them, we rolled in cinnamon-sugar. Some of them we rolled in powdered blood as well.

The cinnamon-sugar bloodkerdoodles were decent, but very iron-y. The rolled-in-blood ones were ... not good. But then, I don't like the taste of blood.

Structurally, the blood-egg substitution worked quite well, though! If you *do* like the taste of blood, it may be worth your while to try.
