something ive been curious about. i like the concept of a visible star marking because "illegitimate" leaders would have to fake one, the marking could change if the leader falls out of favor with starclan, etc. but there are times when it feels a little too obvious, too.

Time for a lore drop! And Oriolepaw is getting more curious about her clan's past

This chapter was really important to me to develop the culture of my clans. I'm not the first person to point this out but it is so boring a lame that the canon clans don't have any kind of holidays or celebrations and they don't sing or have festivals??? BORING ITS SO BORING!!

So here are our Duskclan cats having a festival of their own and we learn a little more about that day a year ago... Also, who is that stranger on the last page...?

froststar is to shadowsight dying insofar as things that feel like they were planned out ahead of time and have a myriad of foreshadowing and narrative groundwork to support them and just in general feel like the most logical and satisfying conclusion to the character's story but for some reason ended up being left on the cutting room floor

Here's my full cover for the Warrior's Cover Zine! This features Rootpaw, Bramblestar (fake) and Bramblestar (ghost) at a gathering, with Bristlefrost as the larger, faint profile. So thrilled to be able to post this, was really happy with how this turned out. This

Definitely learned not to go so dark on colours for print though, big thanks to @harriertail for helping sort that and hosting the project :)

at long last: my complete piece for @harriertail's cover zine!!!

this was such a cool thing to get to be part of and such an amazing and talented crew of people to get to do it with!!! thank you to harrier for doing all the horrible parts of running a massive zine like this and to everyone who provided helpful feedback as i went through about 533568 versions of this cover before settling on this one. :3c
