The Tree of Queens
Tumblr media
This is the three to show every Queen, and King, throughout Mewni’s extensive history. Some names are familiar, some more than once, even twice! Even some emblems repeat cause, why not? Even some different Dynasties!! The silver ones are the ones who weren’t Queens but whose child/ren did end up as, carriers of the bloodline.

Introducing the Artists
O: G’day everyone! Let’s introduce the Artists! I’m Orion!
A: And I’m Artemis. Welcome to our blog!
O & A: Orion and Artemis Productions!
O: A brief history, we both met during that awful pandemic in a chat room for a, let’s call it a cop show, buts much more than just about cops or police work.
A: And we just clicked. We’re not dating or anything, let’s get that straightened out, we’re just two best mates who have a lot of the same interests.
O: And obviously one of them is Star Vs The Forces of Evil, crikey that’s a mouth full of a series name. We’ve seen a lot of different versions of past Queens over the years, and decided to make our own!
A: Yeah, we’ve been talking it over for years, finally decided to put it in drawings and show it, got started this year, it’s taken a while cause of life and what not.
O: And drawing is hard mate! That’s my contribution, I’m the artist, she’s the writer. We’re like two halves of a coin that make this AU work! We got a lot of plans for not just these Queens but the world itself!
A: We’re both big fans of fantasy series, I myself am obsessed with majestic dragons, Orion is a bit with old dinosaurs.
O: When you got Salties as big as we do how can you not?
A: Well we’ve taken painstaking steps to draw out a fully functional fantasy world that Mewni is just one part of! Full of epic cultures and stories.
O: Yeah one of our favorite shows, Avatar and Korra, has just epic world building and delves deep into the lore of the past too.
A: What drew us to Mewni was the fact of how poorly it was done! No offense to the original team, but they result under did the whole Queens thing, made a big deal about them as part of the show and yet they were done dirty.
O: I mean, I get it, we’ve only just gotten in-depth lore of past Avatars over the past few years, but gosh dang it mate, if you’re gonna put them in the actual show give a little background, I mean it’s only 12 ghosts, how hard is it to name them?
A: Okay let’s calm down, sorry, he gets all riled up about done dirty characters, as do I. Seriously, a tapestry for Jushtin but not Rhina? He wasn’t even a bloody damn Queen! Rhina deserved one! And Estrella deserved a better one too!
O: So in case you didn’t guess, we’re redoing them, in fact we’ve created a whole new tapestry style Inspired by one of the greatest series of all time! We dug DEEEP into how we’re gonna do this series, so that it’s both fun for use and our audience.
A: That’s right mate! It’s been real fun so far and we hope to continue to have fun with these! We might be late to the game but that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun with it!
O & A: And Happy Pride Month!

The Second Set of Queens
The first 4 are the Queens of Moon Age 1, and the 5th is the start of Sky Age 1.
Tumblr media
Luna the First Moon
The first of her name, went to war over territory and power challenges. Though the 6th Queen her Kingdom was still new compared to the neighbors, and some didn’t like she challenged their established power.
Celena the Conqueror
Child of political alliance, Celena I grew up with no real ideas of love, only understood power. When her domain was threatened by invaders from the South, she took it a step further, as a conqueror.
Crescenta the Proud
You’d think that people would learn not to challenge Mewni by now, but Crescenta I had her war too. This time not with fellow Mewmans but against the monsters who once again were threatened by her people’s magic.
Gibbous the Wayward Moon
One of only two children and both sons, Gibbous rose as the first boy Queen of Mewni, later known as Gibbous I so not the last. Rather than war with his neighbors be spent much time exploring beyond their boarders, developing relations and alliances.
Urania the Cultrualist
She was the only one of her name to rule, she spent a great deal of time traveling to other realms, falling in love with one’s culture, and marrying a man from yet another Kingdom.
