A list of fall exhibitions in Italy
I am listing a couple of must-see for me:
- ROME:
1) Bacon, Freud and the school of London at Chiostro del Bramante (which by the way is a particular building and you can check why here and it also has a fresco made by Raffaelo )
2) Canova. Eternal beauty at Palazzo Braschi (which is also stunning)
3) Pompei and Santorini at Scuderie del Quirinale this is not certainly a typical art exhibition but indeed I think it will be a nice thing to see
4) The mechanics of monsters. From Carlo Rambaldi to Makinarium. I love monsters in films so yes, this exhibition is actually on my list and also the museum is actually hosting for free a retrospective of the film he worked in  ✨  Very excited. The films are all in Italian, but there are English subtitles. Admissions to the films are free until there are places available to sit.
- BOLOGNA AREA:
- Durer at Museo Civico Bagnacavallo. Unfortunately, the museum doesn’t have an English version of its website. (It’s in a small town in the middle of fields) but they have been promoting a lot of good exhibition in these past few years. Plus, it’s free. The exhibition will be about Albert’s incisions works.
- Carosello at Parma. Carosello was a popular  television advertising show. The series mainly showed short sketch comedy films using live-action, animation, and puppetry. I was born many years after its ending, but everybody in Italy knows Carosello by name and many of the shorts are classic for the Italians.

Pinewoods in Rome is truly quite something. Love them, they really do let your mind wander to the ancient times.

✨ Swans are definitely among the most mystic animals of the entire human culture. Throughout times and territories, various myth concerning the purity of the world or women. In the greek mythology we have the example of Leda that turned into a wild goose and after having sex with Zeus turned into a swan she gives birth to the Dioscuri. Swans were also linked in the Northen European cultures to travels and wisdom (it is often used as a decorative figure on boats). In other cultures and times, it is believed that the world came from a swan egg. This 📷is almost a century old and it's from the Internet Archive Book Images. Love and Light 🌈 🌈 🌈

Hello to you all ️ Arthur Rackham is one of the most famous children and fantasy illustrators ever. His style is unique and definitely shaped many other illustrators that fell in love with him. Sleeping Beauty is actually one of the most creepy and yet haunting stories of my childhood. I used to be obsessed with the Disney version as a kid, but back in my teenage years, I've studied at school the original tale. I remained shocked.Anyway, this illustration of Rackham is spot on since it captures indeed the beauty of the sleeping princess and yet the darkness around her. What story were you in love with as a child? This illustration is from the book  "Sleeping Beauty", publicly available online thanks to the contribution of the amazing website artpassion.net Love and Light

✨Hello! Good September to you all!
☀️ I've just come back from a wonderful holiday in Vienna, and I'll definitely share something about it in this profile soon. How are you? Are you already focusing on your new starts and beginnings?🎇
This is an illustration of the Passion Flower.🌸
Due to its highly symbolic nature linked to sacrifices and rebirth (it is heavily associated with the passion of Jesus Christ, whether you are Christian or not, the connection to the idea of sacrifice to achieve a great rebirth is still strong) I thought it was a good way to remind myself of the transformation and sacrifices I will face in the next months.🍀
This 📷 of the Passion Flower is from the book 📖 "The Annals of Horticulture and Year-Book of Information on Practical Gardening",1848, printed in London and publicly available online thank to the contribution of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and McLean Library.
Love and Light 🌈 🌈 🌈

I’m a big fan of lilies. 🌼🌼🌼 They are one of my favourite flowers ever. With their sweet meaning, all over the world, they are very easy to love. Don’t you agree? I mean, they are always connected to positive things such as protection from the evil, happiness, good luck 🍀, heavenly visions or tears turned into flowers. Its bell-shaped petals are considered, by many close to the fairies folklore, to be home of the enchanted creatures 🧚 ✨ Possible uses: unfortunately for internal use, it is completely toxic -everything, even the berries - please be careful. Used just for its good scent is fine. This lovely 📷 credits: Wilhelm Weimar, Maiglöckchen, 1898, Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg (Public Domain). Love and light 🌈 🌈 🌈

✨ Hello world, this is a new starting adventure for me, I hope I will be successful in this little project. This quote is from the amazing book "Women who run with the wolves" by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. A book I want to recommend to all of you 📖📖 (beware because I'm actually going to recommend a lot of books and readings, so you have been warned 😄). I thought no other words could describe what I'm feeling in these days, and I wanted to remind myself to have a little courage. I hope you will remember as well how brave we all are in our small ways. Good things take their time to grow after all. 🌱
And they do it only with love and care 💗 To all of us fighting and caring souls out there, I bid you welcome! 🌈 🌈 🌈 Much love and light,
@orionsvisions   ✵ ✵ ✵
