i'm gonna start with the cliffclan save i had a while back that i documented every single moon of bleh,. it'll be under #cliffclan long save

“Eyes glowering with the last rays of the sunset, the small hunting party heads out into the gathering dusk. But, sometimes, hunts just go bad. It’s no one’s fault, but today is one of those times. The cats console one another as they walk home.”

“On their way to mark the far corners of their forest territory, Splitface starts telling a story of the ancestors to keep every cat entertained. Waterstripe takes Splitface aside and reminds them coldly to focus on their duties.”

“Morningstar sees two kits from DreamClan playing close to the border. She wouldn’t be able to forgive herself if something happened to those kits. She orders the patrol, save for Blueberry, to return to camp, and she and Blueberry to go bring the kits back to DreamClan.”

“Sneezestep heads out on an herb-gathering patrol, searching for the ever-green, ever-reliable horsetail to harvest for the herb stores. Lemonpaw trots after him, asking him why horsetail grows so weirdly without leaves. But Sneezestep is distracted today, and it affects his work. The patrol is unsuccessful, and Lemonpaw looks up at him with disappointment.”

“Quietly, Silversheen brings Goldenpelt aside as they work on their chores, asking for help with wording something difficult. Goldenpelt talks about how choosing the right words can sometimes feel impossible. But that it's always better to try than to never talk at all, and talking things out can create wonderful connections.”

“While on patrol, Swiftshine notices some suspicious pawprints in the mud beneath the canopy. Boldly, Swiftshine follows the pawprints to a trespassing rogue and confronts them. Fur puffed up and scowling, the patrol demands the rogue leave CliffClan territory. Intimidated by their confidence and the number of cats, the rogue gives in and leaves without a fight.”

Traits: grumpy, nervous

“Shatterbug goes out with a warrior escort, both for safety as she tries to stock up under the clear leaf-fall skies, and for carrying capacity should she find anything. It's an exhausting day. Shatterbug starts chatting with Redwind to pass the time, but they have nothing in common, and the other cat bluntly refuses to talk about boring herbs.”

Members: Paintedflame, Slicespots

Traits: sincere, responsible, childish

“The rain seems a constant, unceasing beat, punctuating the steps of the hunting patrol as they march towards their hunting ground. But there's one less set of footsteps than there should be. Salmonfloat can't see Paintedflame in the watery haze. The patrol backtracks. Paintedflame is found, huddled under a bush - they lost the path and sight of their Clanmates but sensibly remained put. It's one more obstacle in a miserable day of hunting. They return with prey, but it's exhausting and barely worth the effort.”

-A small amount of prey is brought to camp.
