Another question for anyone who might know! Translating sentences, and I'm trying to translate, "Please don't turn off the TV. (Because) I'm watching the news." My professor told us that we shouldn't put ~から at the end of the sentence (He said it looks strange), yet the workbook shows that as an example, so I'm slightly confused. 私はニュースを見ますから、テレビを消さないでください。 or テレビを消さないでください。 私はニュースを見ますから。

For the sake of finally having something to post on here, I have a translation question. Am I correct in reading, "あなたの日本語の先生は、りょうりが上手ですか。" as, "Is your Japanese professor good at cooking?" That's a really weird question to ask, imo.
