MIRAI NO MIRAI

Are you looking for a film that can make your day better? Today’s film is this kind of film. It’s simply stunning.

Through this movie, we can learn a lot about life and how important is to value ours ancestors and their stories.

Mirai no mirai (literally means “Mirai from the future”) is a japanese animated feature film and it was written and directed by Mamoru Hosoda and produced by Studio Chizu.

The film was nominated for Best Animated Feature Film at the 76th Golden Globe Awards, Best Animated Feature at the 24th Critics' Choice Awards and Best Animated Feature at the 91st Academy Awards; it is the sixth anime film, and the first non-Ghibli anime film, to receive an Academy Award nomination in the category. The film also won Best Animated Feature — Independent at the 46th Annie Awards.

Basically, this feature film is about a boy called Kun who live with his parents, his dog, Yukko, and his toys in a house constructed around a tree. He lived well until his sister, Mirai, was born.

At first he was happy, but soon he got jealous when their parents started to focus all their attention on her. And that's when the fantastic adventure begins.

Everytime he got mad and had a bad behave, either he travels through the time or someone from his family travels into his actual time, always in order to help him to be more understanding or to teach him something important. And the tree has a special role in these events.

Mirai no mirai is gripping and really moving, I recommend it to everyone to see it! You won’t regret it.

How are you, guys?

It’s a pleasure to introduce to you my blog! First, I’m gonna give the reasons why I (finally) started this blog:

① I love to read and to watch good films and I would love to share my recommendations and thoughts about it with you guys.

② I really want to improve my writing skill through this experience. I’m still a amateur though.

③ Actually, I’m brazilian, but I’m learning English and I’m really looking forward to improve it too!

I may post my own texts, like poems or stories, in Portuguese, Japanese or Korean (I’m still learning this last two, so it’ll be very simple things).
