Hello everyone! As we are entering the final hours of the factory, it's finally time for my own prompt. I'm sure you guys have been enjoying the factory so far, or at least I am assuming so as we are enjoying another good pretyped message from yours truly.

See, I have been admiring the work you guys have done so far but I feel like some worlds need a little oomf. This prompt, I hope you guys really like the stars! Like literal stars, not your paygrade stars. I love constellations a lot actually and I can't wait to see what sort of space themed stories you guys could create!

Alright let me clear some air.

This part isn't pretyped, it's me. So. let me explain.

You see, this factory was made as a form of... research. If you haven't been following along, thanks you're a great worker who just does what he's told with no questions. But things are changing and I need you to play catchup.

See, me and my brothers have journeyed across the stars looking for the perfect world. Our old home was destroyed by a disease called the Gula disease. It's... a disease that makes you lose your sanity when you don't eat. You become obsessed with food. Eating anything and everything. You just want to eat and eat and eat and eat and eat and eat and eat and eat and eat and eat and... it's bad.

My brothers and I escaped to get away from it. We were... supposed to find a cure. Or at least the perfect world to live in for our Queen Totoko. My brothers and I have tried to avoid the disease the best of our abilities. For those who have been here since the start might have noticed we never had an admin Jyushimatsu. That's because he contracted the disease.

The problem is, Jyushimatsu alone ate all of your past worlds. They were appetizing to him apparently. He alone has the disease. And he's very dangerous if you do not try to stop him. Who knows how much damage he can do if not stopped.

So. This prompt I want you guys to remake those old worlds. But not just the usual remaking. I noticed we have yet to have a 5 star world. So, I'm curious if it is because those old worlds needed some help. I want you guys to combine those worlds together in a cohesive manner. After all, your teams are combined from old ones. I want you guys to go back. Go back to your former teams old submissions and recreate those worlds by combining with a different world.

Team choukei would go through team oso and team kara.

Team sue would go through team jyushi and team totty.

I would really prefer if you didn't go back to worlds that already won first place (sorry nenchuu lads). Pick out just two worlds from each team that deserves being revisted.

Bursting loud and proud for season two comes our two new admins! This was written by our CKO!

Break out your spell books and hold your charms tightly because here is a magical prompt that is fun for all ages! Witches!

There are a series of crafts and specialties to choose from, so it can be hard to pick who does what. Choromatsu the healer? Osomatsu the fire mage? Karamatsu's fantastic beasts?

The possibilities, and crafts, are endless! Additionally, what about the world around? Are they modern witches or old school medieval or future? Are there only humans? Familiars? Witch hunters? Is magic even legal??

All this is up to you to decide! However there are some requirements to fulfill the prompt.

This challenge was our last challenge of season one fun fact! It was written by the lovely and wonderful, CHRO!

Well this past challenge sure was a... challenge. But you all pulled together to give us some really fun ideas! Let's hope this time goes a little more smoothly!

It's my turn to give you guys something to think about and I'm excited to see what you guys come up with! Now, the phrase 'time' might seem confusing, but I promise it's not that bad! The idea this time around is to merge some aesthetic era or decade with a genre of your choice.

Something like a Futuristic Mystery or a 50s Thriller or an 80s Romance. You can pull inspiration from movies and shows and books if you like, to try and get a more authentic tone (But don't just take a pre-existing work and replace the characters with Matsus, please.)

Unlike the other prompts, I don't have to tell you to 'not make' something. Because if you were to go out of your way to make a TV show or movie, I... I don't know what to tell you. Please don't do that. I value your lives and your sanity. That being said, here are the requirements!

This challenge was actually done by the one and only CTOtty! They made sure to pick out the best of the best for this challenge!

You heard that right, this prompt is music! Gather up your favorite vocaloids, rock, jazz, classical whatever is to your teams liking! Choose one or two songs and use it to your advantage in the AU making progress. Two songs maximum! We don’t need to listen to theme songs for each and every character. Please don’t kill us!! (But if you do do that like the little shits you are, prepare for us to SCREAM)

On a more specific note, your AUs can be based off the general tone or lyrics of the song. For example, if you’re going for classical maybe you’re making musician/orchestra matsus, maybe with jazz you’re going for high class cafe matsus! Or maybe you want to be silly little sinners and use a song based around a pair (or multiple pairs) relationship. We are not asking you to make a MV or a video/audio format! That is not required at all! As usual, the only requirements are designs, roles, and a basic plot. Though we always encourage world building and interesting dynamics ;3

Our second week was hand picked by the CEOso, himself, for an exciting theme around video games! From his words directly:

It’s finally time for the challenge that I, personally, your dear CEOso, has picked out! VIDEO GAMES! (A lot easier this week to grasp, I hope.)

This week, I want you guys to delve into the depths of the world of video games. After all, the Matsus already have a grand amount of video games out there from PS Vita games to mobile apps! They’ve made many features in other games and some games will feature a full event for them! Let’s dive a little deeper! Have you ever seen a video game style that you think would fit the Matsuno’s greatly? Detective Conan as the Detective Osomatsu? Zelda Choromatsu? Yume Nikki with Todomatsu? Just Osomatsu? Tetris Karamatsu and Jyushimatsu? Amnesia with Ichimatsu? Video games are vast and wide in their ranges, so please take advantage of their mechanics for your AU’s!

Now, don’t worry, you don’t have to make a full video game for us this week. That’s a lot of work! However, I do want you guys to consider a type of video game that you enjoy a lot. Adventure games, puzzle games, RPGs, Visual Novels, any game type! Now throw those good boys in there. I would like you guys to concept some character designs, their world, and how the aspect of the video game melds with their AU. I really want you guys to focus on the story/mechanics a lot this week, this is where your writers need to shine in telling us all about the gameplay.

Starting down memory lane, our very first prompt: the introductions! From your dear CEOso:

Welcome aboard everybody! We are now entering the first challenge of this Osomatsu AU Factory! I’m sure you’re all so so eager to get familiar with how things work around here. I’m sure you’re more than happy to start making plenty of fun little AU’s for us! So, why don’t we get started already.

The first week is…………….Introductions!

What? Were you expecting me to pull the big guns right out of the gate?

You’re kidding! Well. Too bad I have no intention of changing my mind since this is all pre-typed and I can’t see your reactions as you read this anyways!

In this challenge, we want you guys mostly to take this as a chance to get familiar with each other as a team and see where everyone’s strengths are! Get familiar with the mechanics of this server! Introduce to us what kind of strength your tiny little teams have~! This challenge, I want from you guys the pure essence aesthetic of your team matsu. Look at your team leader. Look at your team. That matsu is who you guys represent! Osomatsu, Karamatsu, Choromatsu, Ichimatsu, Jyushimatsu, and Todomatsu! This week, I want you guys to look at the aesthetic of your team’s matsu! Now………….throw it on the other five losers! I want you guys to make an AU around the aesthetic feel of your matsu. I don’t care how but consider it like, “What if everyone was similar to Xmatsu!” What kind of world would that feel like? Or maybe it’s further away from that? What about the core values of your matsu, be it the money, the fame, the success, the need, the power, or the love? What if your spread it across the world like a paintbrush? What do they mean to you? Give me the raw fighting will, the need to please, the ambitionless, the cowardice, the uncontrollable mind, or the blended identity! They have key themes each, right? Think of the money, the exaggerations, the work drive, the fragileness, the sports, the frills!However, please keep in mind your AU’s must be new designs. They will every week. The Matsuno’s Addictive Circus!

Welcome and join us as Team Choukei--huh? Or was this Team Sue? Who did this AU? HUH? BOTH OF THEM? That’s right ladies, gentlemen, and everyone in between, the church of hell has moved to the falling grounds as Team Choukei and Team Sue combines together as one super team to try to take down their competition with this AU! Journey into their traveling circus of wonders digitally! Four AU’s melted together for a loud cacophony of music and celebration!

SYNTHESIS

Hashimoto woke up one day in a very...odd building. Team Nenchuu worked together for this au that combined from two of their previous prompts. Not only did they do that, but they also completed a small demo of an RPG for any to play. Their two worlds combined has created a world of mystery and horror!

EXOTIC FLOWER POISONS

Team Sue really wants to make sure you know what flowers aren’t safe for you this round. This AU focuses on a darker side of their magic. Due to a magical accident from Totoko, a seaweed witch, most of the Matsuno brothers and Totoko herself are cursed. Her intent was to bring out her own inner beauty but the spell backfired and ended up bringing out her, and those around her, inner bitterness instead. Their flowers begin to rot from the dark magic afflicting them and transform from beautiful flowers to deadly and toxic plants.

WELCOME TO WITCH HAT INC.

Team Nenchuu brings us the tale of Jyushimatsu! In this AU we are mostly following Jyushimatsu on his adventures in finding Homura.  Homura is a witch that committed the worst crime a Witch can do, teaching a human magic. Before he could confess his love to Homura she suddenly disappeared. In trying to search for her, Jyushimatsu takes advantage of delivering Ichimatsu’s elixirs to be able to enter the upper parts of town and explore. In his travels he makes many friends as well as get plenty of opportunities to check on how his brothers are doing.

The fairytale from Team Choukei, bringing a tale of drama and betrayal and blame. The mystical forest of two beasts trying to survive while being hunted. A rise of revolution against a sinful ruler. All the best to read and go through on a night like this. This fairytale doesn’t have a happy ending, but is still a tale worth seeing through to the end.

Runway 2000

This is Team Todomatsu’s submission for the first prompt: Time

Runway 2000 is the name of a televised drama show. The show takes seven designers and seven models and makes them compete in challenges. Every episode one character gets eliminated until there are two finalists going head to head. The reward at the end is the opportunity to start their own fashion line and have an exclusive photo shoot respectively. Petty drama pursues through the challenges as each contestant is eliminated one by one.

An Egyptian Mechanic’s Odyssey 

This is Team Ichimatsu’s submission for the first prompt: Time

It's funny. The Mythic race was once regarded the most powerful race. The strongest. The smartest. The most advanced. Not anymore.

Many did see this coming, the fact that humans can lead them to their doom. But did they listen? No.

Since humans are weak, easily broken and basically useless, there isn't really much a human is worth for. How the tables have turned. With the sudden boom of cybernetic, humans, the creators of this technology, now has the power to climb up the social ladder.

Isn't that ironic?

Join Osomatsu, a Human Mechanic as you follow his journey running running errands and meeting lots of interesting and distasteful creatures just for a speck of magic.

This is Team Choromatsu’s submission for the first prompt: Time

It’s the 17th century and Iyami has found himself in possession of a large, derelict Italian theater for a suspiciously low price. Always the enterprising type, Iyami plans to renovate the theater and resell it to another buyer at a profit, but, little does he know, a family has already claimed the theater as their own. The Matsuno sextuplets were members of a commedia dell’arte troupe that used to frequent the area when they were alive, decades ago. Now, the sextuplets spend their time in the afterlife loafing around the the theater and terrorizing the locals. When they hear that Iyami plans not only to renovate their home but also to sell it to rich patrons who probably live proper lives, the sextuplets vow to make the theater as unappealing to potential buyers as possible. Come in come in! Have a laugh!

The City of London

This is Team Karamatsu’s submission for the first prompt: Time

The Matsuno brothers, in early 20th century Japan, have been obsessed with British culture for some time now, and Kara, Choro, and Totty have even been studying English in their free time. When their single mom dies one day, the matsuno brothers are left with a large inheritance. With this money, they decide to fly over to Britain to start a new life there. Staying in Japan is too much for them to bare, as it reminds them too much of the past and the pain.

The matsus finally land in Britain, and one of the first things they do is pop into the first clothing store they can find and spend most of the money they have left on the most traditional British clothes they could find. They find a way to make money by selling Japanese nick nacks and novelties from back home, as well as becoming pawnbrokers. From then on, the Matsuno brothers are left to face this new world by themselves. Travel the streets of London with some hasty orphans!
