One of the boys (don't remember if it was Elio or Kiran) accidentally came upon Sasha - or Trashley, as I believe is her English name - and they became friends... and he bought one of her mystery boxes. He got a drawing of sunflowers that now hangs proudly over the family computer desk.

The wonders found the forgotten grotto. For someone who's had this game for 8 years, it took me way too long to locate it.

Also, I just realized as I am queuing this post that five out of six sims are in their cold weather outfits in the middle of the desert. No words.

This kid is purple. He is also the son of Liberty Lee, with a mystery donor. Seriously, he has no father on his family tree. He's not an alien either, despite the skin tone. Oh well.

Oh, and the reason for us being at Liberty's house is that the quests wanted us to visit that neighborhood, and that house is the only one that isn't an empty residential, so all 6 wonders just showed up at the door.

At least, while two siblings (Farren and Elio, I believe) were off doing quest stuff, the other four had fun socializing.

Funnily enough, Farren, who took care of the adoption, is a cat lover.

The girls spent their evening woodworking. Melantha already had a bit of the skill, and Nixie is the other artsy one, so it made sense. I'm not sure how Nixie is working with tools on those teeny baby heels tho...

The first day of independence of the wonders! Kiran and Elio decided to celebrate by having a picnic in their brand new front yard.

Later that day, the household headed to Oasis Springs to fish, since for some reason the neighborhood they live in had no fishing spot (they live in the businesses and hobbies world).

Back home, Kiran was tasked with selling the fish his siblings caught. Yes, six sims went fishing all afternoon, and they only brought back three fish. That is an impressive level of incompetence.

I gave my seven wonders a CC makeover and built them a house. Why? No clue. But I ended up playing the event with their household, and I took like 5 screenshots during it, so why not post them?

Since Auretta was in my BACC, I didn't include her in the new household (but she is still in the save living with Vanica, since I couldn't bring myself to remove her, so she got a makeover anyways).

Skininator S4

Anyone know of a decent tutorial for this program? I have had terrible luck finding something for the last version - found mostly stuff pre-tan/burn.

With the introduction of Fairies, what updates to this program are needed beyond adding a couple of codes for occult type? Changing/adding a few of the codes to the XML file allows the addition of the new occult (and corrects the Alien renumbering) but I don't know if that's about it to get it working well enough to use it.

Trying to update a few skin types for WW and the latest expansion. Have a skin that does not work correctly with tan/burn and now the fae occult type ....

CAS stuff perplexes me and ferreting out solutions in the age of (unwanted) AI guided searches is like trying to find a salt grain in a bag of sugar.

Hello lovely people,

Here are 5 of my 12 indoor cats, all of them became blind due to an infection. If I don't act quickly, the 7 remaining may lose their sight too, or worse their lives. All 12 of them need to be treated asap.

The treatment of one cat doesn't cost much, but treating all 12 of them is something I cannot afford at the moment (money is tight), escpecially because of the fact that I have a small shelter/sanctuary for homeless/stray cats, where I have to take care of 20 cats and kittens.

I would really appreciate it if you could help me save my cats' eyes and lives, feed my strays, and pay the vet bills.

For those of you who are curious as to what my cats have exactly, well to be honest I'm not 100% sure, and my vets are more lost than I am. I am convinced that they have Cryptococcosis, and my new vet agrees with me but is not sure, as we don't have the necessary tests to prove it available in my country.

All 12 of my cats are showing at least one of the symptoms of this infection. So my vet decided to start the treatment any way.

If any of you is a vet or has dealt with a similar situation, I would love to hear your opinion. PLEASE!!! Thank you!

I wanna bring a little positivity around here and try and turn this into a bit more of a learning thing, so if anyone is interested, this is how I make my stars in blender! (I'm using 3.6)

I've done it for the earrings, but also for my mooncaster hat and moon maiden set, its quick and kinda fun honestly :3

1. Under "Add", create a 'circle' mesh and under the add circle settings (bottom left), set the vertices to 10 (this will give you a 5 pointed star as the final result, you can play with that number as well! I did 8 for that 4 pointed star charm on the hat! The bigger the number, the more points your star will have!)

2. English is not englishing but like, grab a vertice (point), then skip, then grab the one after, kinda like a sequence, you'll end up with 4 selected. Press S to scale it until it magically forms into a star!

3. Press A to select all, then press f to fill. Now we have a flat star!

4. To give it volume, just keep the whole thing selected and press e, this will extrude the star, you can send it upwards to however thick you want it :)

5. Select that little loop cut tool I highlighted there, then hover on your star and aim for the center of the edge and apply the loop cut.

6. Unselect the loop cut tool (so you dont accidentally make more LOL) and make sure you have your newly made edge selected only, then press S. play around with it until it has the volume you want!

7. You now have a little star :D

Like I mentioned, you can set the number of vertices when creating the circle to get different stars like im showing here below, they make for very easy shapes to make maps for and they look cute when smoothened with the shade smooth :3

(in order here, first is set at 10 vertices, 2nd is 8, and last is 14)

Lunar Layers

My first foray into CAS content, a collection of recolours, mesh edits and frankenmeshes of the base game clothing added with the 2019 Lunar New Year update.

Whilst I was aiming to make content that would fit into a Star Wars save (e.g. muted colours, natural materials, no visible zips/buttons/fastenings, etc.), the items are all fairly generic in nature so hopefully might be suitable for other situations as well - I'd love to see if anyone does find them useful!

Thirteen items, all Base Game compatible.

Each item has thirty swatches (twelve neutrals and eighteen muted colours).

Three adult tops (two for feminine-framed sims and one masculine).

Four items for child sims (three tops and one dress).

Four items for toddler sims (two tops and two dresses).

Two tops for infants (I'm not entirely happy with how the collar of the infant version of the tunic sits, but it's as good as I can get it!)
