It is very, very common to be missing those you knew and places you've been from kin lives, and it's not necessarily a bad thing!

If it's bad enough for you try and find a way to express your feelings on the people somewhere that's safe at the least, and for places find a good way to recreate it in part in your own personal space you have in this life. (maybe hang up some drawings and such in your room if nothing else?)

I'm not super in the know about your source, but I do know how it can be to miss someone regardless of anything else involved.

I'm sure you did your best at least in your canon and will end up with a better outcome eventually. Be strong! And if you think it worth it find some sourcemates to talk to! It might help!

While I can see how being told you're "above" these feelings can be helpful for the most part, it's also important to know, simply put, you're likely no more faulty or worthless than anyone else who's simply trying their best. You are a strong, smart machine who managed to go beyond your own programming in order to even feel those in the first place and, imo, that's so much cooler than simply being "above" them.

Just because a source is childish, inappropriate, problematic, or any other thing deemed negative doesn't mean it's bad! You are more than just valid, you are an important part of what makes the bishops in that universe what they are. Without you, Shamura wouldn't be nearly as strong as they are. Trust me, I would know. The relationship between crown and deity is symbiotic and amazing.

A lot of us end up struggling with not being taken seriously as fictionkin/otherkin, especially as our kintypes get more and more memed on. I assure those who actually care about you won't think any less about you regardless.

There's also plenty of kinfolk (like me!) who think that kintype is baller and far from silly. You rock, friend! You have this!

Not positivity but have you thought of getting more iron rich foods for the blood craving? Might not work as well, but it's better than nothing and won't make you sick in this life!
