That's it. I'm done.

I was keeping this blog on hiatus until summer and then considering coming back but nope. I'm done.

I have my personal blog and I'll stick to that. I don't need this stress on top of everything else I have going on in my life and I don't need the blatant accusations. I get enough of that from my parents.

I'm not going to just sit here and let myself get hurt like this.

I will be keeping my blog up though, so don't worry guys. You will still have access to all of my walkthroughs, screenies, posted CGs, whatever, to help you and and let you enjoy your games.

I just won't ever do any more of them. This is the last post on my blog and I won't be checking the messages or anything.

For those who have been with me since my blog's creation: thank you. I loved watching our blogs grow together and watching the community spread. It really was amazing to watch all of that happen together.

For those who've befriended me over the past year: thank you so much. I loved talking to you guys. I loved watching our obsession develop, I loved RPing with you, and I loved just being with you. You guys are all wonderfully amazing people and I know you'll continue to be even after I'm gone.

Noel, Soffia, Tomey--you guys keep at it. Your walkthroughs and everything else are really amazing. I'll be popping in to use 'em from time to time. :)

Everyone else: thank you so much for following me. I am so honored to have achieved over 700 followers and I love every single one of you for wanting to follow me despite everything. You guys are truly amazing people, each and every single one of you.

Okay, you know what? If we’re going to play that card lemme just say this: I was bullied every day in school for my entire school career, Pre-K through 12th grade. I was further verbally abused by my mother since I was six and was physically abused a few times as well. So, thank you, I like to think I know where I’m coming from.

Furthermore, I don’t know why you’re getting so defensive over something so asinine. If you recall, I WAS asking in the beginning, perfectly innocently and quite hoping to be wrong. All of the sudden it exploded to a personal attack by TWO people and I’m just not appreciative. I was assuming, yes, but I was asking and hoping I was wrong.

Also, I wasn’t cursing AT you. If I was, I would have used nouns but never once did I call you anything. I simply was upset at being so personally attacked and fell back on those verbs to try and express my emotions.

And you’ll have to forgive me but I read this entire comment as snide and blatantly accusatory. I don’t feel the apology was sincere or worth a single letter that was typed for it. You certainly didn’t even bother to use my name when it’s common knowledge AND RIGHT THERE ON MY BLOG.

And it’s nice that Deneca is aware of that and she’s taking it lightly but that still doesn’t mean the comment is appropriate. Or called for.

I’m sure your friend does have a heart. I’d just like to know why you conveniently decided to forget that I might have one over here, too.  And why you’d think it was okay to so personally attack me and jump down my throat for expressing my opinion and then turn around, express your own, and then tell me *I* shouldn’t run around doing the same.

This isn’t a silly misunderstanding anymore. It was a silly misunderstanding 4 reblogs ago.

This is a blatantly offensive attack and I’m not going to sit here and pretend otherwise. It’s obvious you don’t care how I’m really feeling and it’s obvious you’re not really sorry.

Okay, you know what?! How many anti-cyber bulling seminars have YOU attended?! Because I've attended TWO and I can TELL you that that is not the right message to send, thank you very fucking much. At least in terms of the actual person sending them, IT IS NOT THE RIGHT FUCKING THING TO SAY.

And I don't give a shit. No, it's not okay. Yes, I'm going to bloody well say something about it when I see it because it's NOT OKAY. And yes, thank you, I DO comment when I think people are saying things that are entirely inappropriate and they can take it or leave it. Some people just don't realize how bad something is until someone else points it out.

Next, I'd LIKE to talk To Deneca but, seeing as she's not answering messages, that's a little fucking hard, don't you think? And I don't think you can read minds, either, so let's drop the whole I'm-a-better-friend-than-you game because I'm not playing.

All I am referring to is the bully and the target (which, for the record, is what you call someone who has been hurt by bullying--target, not victim). According to every book and seminar I've been exposed to on cyber bullying, you support the target with positive reinforcement and you try to pull them back from the bully. It's much easier to support a target than attack a bully--AND it's much more effective.

So, yes, I do think that's what's best. And, thank you so fucking much, but the researchers are saying the same damn thing, too. Support positively. Don't return bullying behaviors (such as telling someone you want to murder them). Don't believe me? Look it up online and educate yourself, because that's what I spent four years doing, thank you very much.

And I'm sorry Deneca's support post has turned into this, but you know what? I just don't see how that first reply is helping any.

Okay, now I'm actually annoyed.

For the record, I was just concerned about the post. Either she was the one sending the anons or she wanted to murder the one who did--and in either case, it's in rather poor taste and it's not the sort of message we should be sending out. Murder's not okay, even in jest. I don't care how upset you are; you should never be saying you'd end up in jail because you'd murder the culprit/whomever. No. That's not okay.

And, to be frank, if I was upset, that's not the sort of support I'd want to hear. Focus on the hurt party, not the culprit. You're not going to force that culprit to feel bad and it's definitely not sending them the right message. You're only encouraging their behavior by RETURNING their behavior. Be the better person.

And, furthermore, I wasn't trying to cause conflict. I was simply concerned about the nature of the post and wanted clarification because, dammit, I saw it as inappropriate. It's not helping Deneca feel better, it's not going to solve the problem, and it's not going to make the culprit stop so why say something like that--especially if you have no intentions of following it through?

And if you DO have those intentions, PLEASE TALK TO SOMEONE because that's concerning.

Otherwise, don't say that kind of thing. Instead, tell Deneca you care. Tell her you're worried. Let her know you miss her. There are better, more positive messages you could be sending out that will help support her a lot more--trust me.

First of all: how is saying you hope you don't go to jail for "murder" being overactive in a seemingly positive light? To me, that's suggestive of you being the culprit in the anons, but maybe I'm just missing something. I'm not sure what how you're trying to help but to me, I'm not sure your intentions came off right. And, for the record, dear, it's terrible about your friend (or whomever it was) but please don't act like you're the only person in the world who has had to deal with suicide. It's (sadly) more prevalent than you think, and it rather irks me to be used as a defense for some phrasing that I don't understand.

Second of all, I was asking because I was HOPING that it was something out of context and we just missed it. Thank you, but bullying someone over their post is EXACTLY what we're all trying to avoid here. 

Third, it's silly to start something over this when you could have just clarified what you meant. Simpler, easier, and less antagonistic.

Think back to why you first joined tumblr. You probably stumbled across some post and figured, hey what have I got to lose? Looks fun. The people look kinda cool. And they've got these really cute gifs that make me smile. And they like the things I like too.

So you signed up because you had nothing to lose and every time you logged in, you smiled. You smiled and you laughed and you interacted with people and it got to the point where you stopped logging out because you didn't want to miss out on that fun, that sense of community. You stopped logging out because you didn't want to leave.

That's what tumblr is for. It's a happy place. It's your happy place.

And because it's your happy place, it can be whatever you damn well please. It can have whatever ships you want, whatever gifs you want, whatever headcanons or fandoms you want, whatever pictures or music you want--anything. Anything you like is welcome there because it's YOURS.

Don't let someone take that from you. Don't let someone ruin something that has become so uniquely you that it could never belong to someone else. Don't let someone take control of that away from you.

I'm not pointing fingers and I know those hate messages are upsetting and you're looking for validation when you answer them. But the best thing you can do is delete them. Take the power back, keep control of your blog, and don't let someone else make your blog about them instead of you.

It's therapeutic to delete them. Because you're basically saying those messages are so full of shit that they're not worth the time it would take to read or answer them. You're saying that you know you're better than them, that you're a better person than they are, and you know what your own worth is.

And you have the right to only post what makes YOU and only YOU happy.
