Can't wait for the new titles announcements! Hoping for some follow up news on Tokeijikake no apocalypse with character art and seiyuus! It was my most anticipated game since they first announced it yet there's nothing so far. Also if they announce another Hakuoki or any other sequel I'll just die cuz enough is enough. Stop milking old series and focus on newer, better titles please.
Seiyuus presenting the live show are:
Morikubo Shoutaro, Toriumi Kousuke and Suzumura Kenichi

ハメフラ
Tried watching some anime with Japanese subs this season! I always give up halfway when I try watching raw anime but this time I found 2 anime I was able to watch without giving up halfway through because of the hard vocabulary. I did have to search up a few words per episode but I'm glad it's not too often otherwise I'd be sick of pausing and playing.
So, first of all, Hamefura! One of my favourite anime this season! It's so so so good, otome lovers would enjoy it the most. The language was really easy to follow along for me. Really wish it was originally an otome game so I could have played it myself lol.

イエスタデイを歌って
This anime didn't get many great reviews from people online or even my friends, but it's quite good! And it's especially good as a resource. I'm still a little past halfway through it, but the language and words used are so common and useful. I'd totally recommend it even if it's just for language learning purposes. I really liked the story so I highly recommend it.

レムレスブルーの午前2時
Just finished this bl game which surprisingly isn't that well known even when it has a full English version and is completely free! It's called Lemures Blue's 2 am. The translator did a really good job on it ^^ the story is so good too. Totally recommended

漫画
Unrelated to visual novels, but for the longest time I've been searching for a way to buy digital Japanese manga raw and I finally found a great site! Has a great selection of manga in all genres and they accept foreign visa/mastercards. Other payment methods are only for Japanese citizens as far as I have seen. Not all manga titles are available sadly but I've noticed they add new titles every now and then. Every manga has a couple of pages free to check the art/language if it's to your level. Some first chapters are available for free as well if you browse the 無料 section. I quite enjoy reading on it and supporting my favourite mangakas!

ダイロク
Finally gave in and bought Ayakashimori. I wasn't planning on getting it because of the difficult language in the demo videos, but the op was so mesmerizing that I had to. Won't start it till I complete Reine Des Fluers. Only 2 routes left.

グノーシア
Got Gnosia a few days ago. It's a really popular visual novel in Japan, its basically a werewolf game where you try to find out who the enemy is by suspecting each other. The game loops after and you have to replay with different people being the Gnosia and it could even be you. I think it's a good concept, I haven't played enough to understand it fully but I played 8 loops already.
I had problems understanding exactly how the game plays out and how to see all scenes throughout the game because there aren't many walkthroughs available for it. Trying to clear it on my own but I'll redo it with a walkthrough a second time if I end up not getting all the scenes.
15/5 Update after completion:
GET THIS GAME!
I was an idiot and a dumbass. It was such a masterpiece I'm glad I didnt stop playing cuz of confusion and feeling lost. It definitely clears up after loop 20 or so and then you'll get hooked trying to understand all the characters. It's a fantastic game with lots of mystery. I can definitely say it didnt disappoint and I'm glad I had a chance to play it.

オランピアソワレ
Just completed Olympia Soiree. Aside from the stunning visuals I'm sad to say the game was tiring to play and long (took me around 75 hours and I'm by no means a slow reader). The setting and story were good but it was hard to get into I kept forcing myself to continue. The best storyline imo was Kuroba (shockingly) cuz he wasn't my favourite looks-wise or voice-wise even, but he had the best story overall. The other best stories were Rikuu and Himuka. I usually enjoy vns that pull you in and are hard to stop playing cuz you'd be looking forward to what happens next so that's why I found it hard to play (also because I played enough lighthearted otome in my life) but I do recommend it if you're looking for that. I don't deny that I squealed at absolutely every interaction between the mc x any dude lol

殺人探偵ジャックザリッパー
I just completed Satsujin Tantei Jack the Ripper and it was a really good game. It's about a detective who gets a second "personality" as the murderer Jack the ripper and that was very interesting. The only thing I hated was the blonde police girl she was so whiny and "righteous" that her lines were always repetitive and I really dislike naggy people even irl so this triggered me lol but regardless I enjoyed it fully while trying to ignore her existence (which was hard cuz she was a main character who appeared lots)

These three games are currently on sale in the eshop at the moment. I'm considering getting all three after playing the demos (Daedalus and Voez have a demo)
Some of the games from the Atelier series are also on sale

Currently playing Ai: The Somnium Files. It's a very interesting visual novel about murder mystery. Solving murders this time by going through people's dreams to get clues. The dreams are pretty hard to solve on my own but luckily there's a complete guide at steam. It's not a very long game which is good it doesn't drag on and all the characters are likable. There are lots of dirty jokes here and there which are funny lol

Lately, I've been playing a lot of switch games. Mazm: Jekyll and Hyde which was released a few days ago was one of them and it's such a great game. I didn't know the original story of Jekyll and Hyde so it was even more interesting for me. I think even if you did know the story it's nice to see it in game form. It's a pretty short game but nonetheless enjoyable. I like how it didn't drag on to get boring. AND best of all, it has an amazing art style! Mr. Hyde looks so handsome lol

BUSTAFELLOWS - Nintendo Switch (JP)
Playing a new otome game now called Bustafellows for nintendo switch. AMAZING so far and that's a very rare word to use for an otome since most of them are just repetitive nowadays. The story has some unique parts and the art is fabulous. The protagonist is voiced which is also a plus and makes it easier to understand her lines but the language is kinda tough here and there. Definitely not for beginners in Japanese but so worth it.
There are videos of the first episode on YouTube which is free to play in the phone version as I read in the description better to check it out before buying. I watched that and immediately fell in love and bought it! All the characters are interesting and cute! No complaints whatsoever and done with episode 2 so I have high hopes for what comes next.
Update after completion:
This game has taken the #1 best otome rank in my heart along with 7scarlet. It's a must play!

贄の町 - PC (JP)
Didnt disappoint me so far but I cant help comparing it to koshotengai no hashihime even though they are completely different (koshotengai was a masterpiece truly) but this is enjoyable in it's own way. Doing koko's route first even though my favourite is asuku. Saving the best for last is my motto but I am so tempted to save and start a new game and do him.
Update after completion:
Enjoyed it fully and was one of the best bls I ever played.

古書店街の橋姫 - PC (Eng)
Currently playing Koshotengai no Hashihime. Kawase is my absolute fav boi and after I finished his route everything seems sad and depressing, cant bear to see his face when I'm doing the other routes. It's such a good game.
Update after completion:
#1 BL game.

Chouchou jiken rhapsodic - PSVita (JP)
I've left this game on hold for exactly a year now and to be honest other than good visuals it's not that exciting.. maybe it's because there are many otome games with the same theme. I do love the story + theme even if it's overused though so I will definitely finish it, albeit slowly compared to other games on my list.

Currently playing Black Wolves Saga, Mejojo route. All the characters are interesting and it has 8 routes (sugoi desu) I really do enjoy games with many routes as long as they’re not redundant. I’m halfway through the route and all I can say is PLAY IT IT’S SO GOOD
