I don’t even ship bkdk but the people who do have my utmost support. It’s just absurd for people to come onto your blog, see content they don’t like and instead of just saying “this isn’t for me” they feel the need to send you messages about how you’re wrong for liking what you like, the content in question is wrong because they don’t personally like it and that you need to stop engaging in it immediately Or Else.
Like, y’all??
Free will exists and it’s a two way street. No matter what the topic, someone is going to enjoy something you absolutely cannot stand. That is a fact of life. You’re never going to find someone who you agree with 100% of the time because each individual person has their own notion of what’s a good time and what isn’t. What’s acceptable and what’s not. Learning how to accept this fact and move on with your life is called being an adult. You’ve got to learn how to prioritize and there are so many more important battles that deserve to be fought that don’t involve launching a campaign against a fictional ship.
Fuck it, op just earned a new follower and whoever doesn’t like it can stay mad.
uhhhh sorry to bother you, you posting bkdk is making me uncomfortable, and the filtered tags system is broken?? but uhh, i really like your art, and i don't want to un-follow you, but it's really upsetting to see a good artist choosing to ship something based in abuse. Bakugo told izuku to kill himself for fucks sake! But while I'm normally all for shipping what you like, it's.. sad.
You don’t know how long I’ve been keeping this bottled up. So thank you for being so audacious, and giving me a chance to speak my mind. When you come into MY blog, and MY space, you are accepting and acknowledging my opinion as one that may be similar or different from yours. That’s great. That’s fine. But you get in my face, and tell me something that makes me genuinely happy, something that makes me smile, is “sad”. That I am “sad” for enjoying it. Fuck you, man. That’s just a shitty thing to do.If bakudeku does legitimately make you uncomfortable, blacklist it, I have nothing against that. It is not my fault that tumblr is broken, whining to me about it won’t fix the problem.i usually don’t like participating in ship debates (its exhausting), but a lot of people don’t like it, I understand, and i’m not trying to argue against that. I’m not that much of an asshole to think that people who don’t share my opinion deserve to have it shoved down their throat. But a lot of people hate bakudeku for the wrong reasons, and while it is well within their right to do so, it doesn’t excuse their behavior towards people who enjoy it. I’m not writing this for you. I’m writing this for ME because I want to help the bakudeku community, and I want to help myself. I’m gonna be as unbiased as possible, ship bias really has no place when your trying to make an argument.Bakudeku isn’t abusive. It’s not toxic. Its valid, just like every other healthy ship in this fandom. What people tend to forget is that most people are in fandoms for the fun. I don’t know about everyone else, but I don’t jump headfirst into a fandom for the purpose of starting wars and fights. i join fandoms for the sake of having fun, not to deal with other peoples bullshit. It’s really grinding when you hear other people talking about how toxic bakudeku is when their only argument is the fact that bakugou bullied midoriya in middle school. I could write a damn book refuting that statement, some people already have. Bakugou is not abusive. There’s a big difference between being a stubborn asshole and being abusive. To say that bakudeku is abusive is to imply that one person in their relationship is abusive, that’s what a toxic relationship is. Bakugou was never abusive, even in middle school. Yes, even when he told midoriya to “jump off the roof”, and that wasn’t abuse. It was rude, it was mean, it was cruel, it was inexcusable. But it wasn’t abusive. A fourteen year old cant be abusive, not him anyway. Bakugou has good parents. For their relationship to be abusive is to imply that they were in some sort of relationship in the first place, which they weren’t, at least to bakugou. To him, he and midoriya were never really friends. Midoriya followed bakugou around on his own violation, in his own words when referencing the past: “As bad as your bad side was, your good side was just as amazing” “I mean, usually you wouldn’t want anything to do with a guy that keeps insulting you”- Midoriya was well aware of bakugou’s hotheadedness in middle school, yet he chose to stick around anyway. Not out of pity and resentment like bakugou thought, but out of respect and admiration for the one he saw as “the image of victory”I dont blame bakugou for having a temper when people question his credibility. He’s a kid, and his whole life people have been telling him how amazing he is, but getting into UA was like a slap to the face for him. He grew up believing he was the best and now he meets all these people who, in his eyes, are so much better than him, of course it would hurt. He mellows out MUCH more when he realizes there are in fact, people who are better than him, and that’s that. This completely blows the argument that bakudeku is abusive out of the water.Rivalry is a very big part of mha, and  everything about bakugou and midoriya’s “true rivalry” so far has been healthy. They pull each other and the rest of 1A up with them, such is their burning desire to prove themselves and surpass one another. If that isn’t enough reason to ship them, I don’t know what is.I could write more. I could write ten pages, fully referenced,  with citations from the manga. I could research on Japanese cinematography, tell you what certain scenes mean, I could go on forever. But I have art that needs to be done, and coincidentally it is bakudeku. So thanks for letting me speak my mind. Feel free to unfollow me, it’s no skin off my nose if you don’t like what I like, or if we share different opinions. What does bother me is that you think you have any influence over my opinion, especially with a pathetic argument like that.I dont need to share my art with you guys. Its crappy, I know, but I don’t need to share it. You are not entitled to it. It’s my decision what comes and goes, and if you don’t like it, go spend 7 years on improving your own art of you haven’t already. Me sharing my artwork is a present to all of you, as is any fanwork you come across. It is shared with you, not given. This rant wasn’t directed to you, specifically. It was for all the people who felt the need to bash others for enjoying themselves. If you’ve made it this far, congrats. You’re willing to listen to other people’s opinions :)
Tumblr media
I’ll be waiting for that number to go down. I’m thankful that most of you guys think I’m worth your time, but if I’m not, great. I’m not in your debt. Next time you make an argument like this, come off anon. If you’re that afraid of sharing your opinion, then there’s no point in telling people. This is the kind of shit that’s going to make me swear off kiribaku one day. Don’t push me, and thanks for listening.

Ogata x reader NSFW
Tumblr media
The proprietress called for me on a particularly crisp spring afternoon when the snow drifts were only just starting to melt little by little. I’d found myself busier than usual over the last few weeks now that the sun was starting to warm some life into the cold limbs of men and I knew she likely had a client for me. The change of seasons always inspired some amount of restlessness and there really was no better way to channel that energy than with a good fuck.
I took my time making sure that everything was in order, with my robes laying perfect over my frame and not a hair out of place, before wandering downstairs to the storefront. Finding a soldier waiting in the small restaurant wasn’t a particularly out of the ordinary occurrence but something about this one struck me as a little odd. I still smiled and bowed, polite and obedient even when faced with someone who sent goosebumps prickling across my skin.
“This is my most expensive girl.” The proprietress said, motioning towards where I was standing in the doorway with a withered hand. “She’s quite experienced with the more fanciful inclinations of our patrons. Not a virgin, just as you requested. Is she to your liking, sir?”
The man looked me over with an unreadable expression and nodded minutely. “She’ll do. May I have an hour with her?”
“You take as much time as you need, deary.” The old woman crooned in her usual, grandmotherly tone as she nudged his elbow.
He didn’t seem to need any further prompting and he crossed the room to me in a few, quick strides. I offered him a gracious smile, trying not to stare at the diagonal scars on either of his cheeks even though I couldn’t exactly deny my curiosity about them. You didn’t often see such smooth lines from a war injury, after all.
“Its a pleasure to meet you.” I said, taking his arm so I could lead him up to my room. “What should I call you?”
“My name is Ogata. But you can call me ‘sir’ from here on out.”

I don’t do this very often, but there are some recent anime announcements I wanted to talk about so feel free to skip this post if you want to because its Unsolicited Opinion Time, baby.
Chihayafuru season 3: This one I wasn’t expecting at all. The first season aired in 2011-2012, while the second was in 2013 so its been quite some time since we last saw this anime on air. I’ve watched both of the previous installments and I’d say its a solid shoujo even though the game of karuta isn’t exactly the most exciting. I think it managed to be just engaging enough, and the characters compelling enough, that it made up for any drawbacks in the game itself and I don’t recall struggling to finish either season due to a lack of interest. The animation was often rather pretty too, which also helped it out some. I’m looking forward to seeing more of Chihaya’s story and I hope this installment maintains the same quality as the ones that came before it. If you’re looking for something relaxing to watch that doesn’t feel like its dragging, I’d definitely suggest checking this out.
Fire Force: Okay, here’s the dealio peeps. This is a manga from the creator of Soul Eater which I think has a great art style, so of course I checked out this new series a few years ago when there were only a handful of chapters released. Fair warning: this ... is nothing like Soul Eater. You can tell they share the same mangaka but I think Fire Force was lacking in a lot of the balls to the wall creativity that its predecessor had. That is to say, Okubo seemed to pour all of his spooky ideas into SE which in turn made FF feel a tad uninspired. There is every possibility that this changed over time once he got into the groove of the new story, but I wouldn’t know anything about that since I only read a few chapters and never kept up with it.
That being said, I’m actually really looking forward to this adaption. You don’t see stories about firefighters very often when it comes to anime/manga and the supernatural aspect really gives it that oomf to make it interesting (at least in theory, anyway). Honestly, the entire premise reminds me a LOT of Ao no Exorcist, but with firefighters instead of priests, so I imagine that crowd will probably enjoy this the most. And I mean, you can’t really argue with the logic of fighting fires with fire so yeah, I’ve got high hopes for this one. I’m just praying it doesn’t get boggled down with cumbersome CG effects and I eagerly await a PV to see what sort of animation we’ll be getting.
Dr. Stone: While I didn’t find the manga all that interesting and dropped it after maybe 10-15 chapters, I still believe this is the up and coming Shounen Jump series to really watch out for. Promised Neverland and Kimetsu no Yaiba’s adaptions are going to be great, I’m sure of it, but considering how consistently Dr. Stone has dominated the weekly ratings since it premiered in the magazine, I really believe its going to get the VIP treatment. Especially when you take into consideration just how quickly it got an anime adaption in the first place. It’ll be interesting to see how Boichi’s art style translates over to a different medium, and I’m eager to get a first glimpse of the character designs. Hopefully the anime can hold my attention better than the manga did because it just never really clicked with me for some reason.
Fruits Basket: This one came as the biggest surprise by far. I’ve really applauded the anime industries relatively recent trend of picking up older series to either reboot or animate for the first time, even though the results of the former are sometimes disastrous shit shows. Sailor Moon Crystal, Berserk 2016 and Houshin Engi being the biggest offenders by a long shot. But a few bad apples don’t necessarily spoil the whole crop and I’m glad we’ve gotten full adaptions of Jojo, Ushio and Tora, Karakuri Circus, Banana Fish, etc. Like, the list just goes on when it comes to manga I never thought I’d see adapted. I thought I’d reached a point where I was prepared for anything to be announced but this still managed to take me off guard.
The original Fruits Basket anime aired in 2001. Two thousand one. Let that fucking sink in.
It was a solid show for the time but if you’re looking at it from a viewpoint with any nostalgia removed, I think we can all agree that it had some pacing issues. It was slow. Almost tediously so. For as much as I enjoyed the series, it sort of dragged and I keep seeing a lot of confusion regarding this announcement from people who watched the 2001 anime.
‘Why don’t they just add on to the preexisting story instead of redoing it?’
If you honestly believe for one second that the story doesn’t deserve to be redone in its entirety, then I’m gonna’ have to kick you out of the anime club. But even putting that aside, it had an original ending so everything that happened in those last few episodes was not present in the manga which means it would be almost impossible for them to just ‘add on’ to the 2001 series. Plus there is such a HUGE gap between the two that simply starting where the first left off would be just as confusing as Houshin Engi rushing though the introductory arcs to get to the good stuff.
I really think that Fruits Basket is a classic shoujo that should be held in as high regard as Sailor Moon or Card Captor Sakura so I’ve got my fingers crossed that it gets the adaption it deserves. The first promo art looks great in my opinion so I want to believe that things are already looking good. Like, one of my biggest complaints with the first anime was how weirdly flat the character designs looked which, yeah, matched the style of the manga pretty well, but I just don’t think it translated over very well. The new designs look FANTASTIC though and I cannot wait to see more. I’m trying not to get TOO excited, seeing as thats bitten me in the ass before (cough Devilman Crybaby cough), but its honestly hard when I’m looking forward to this as much as I am. As of this moment I’m planning on watching it as it airs so expect weekly Fruits Basket shit posting when the time comes. :^ )
