Once upon a time there was a girl called Anna Johnson, although she might remind you of Tiger Lily. Anna lives in Mystic Falls and is a 554 year old vampire. 

             “You have to be careful who you meet. You can’t unmeet them."

Tiger Lily

The tales of female heroics are usually the ones of Mulan or Pocahontas, but one of the bravest of them all was Tiger Lily. She was princess of the Picaninny tribe, her father was the chief in Neverland and her life was relatively simple until the treaty was broken. Hook poisoned her father, although he never admitted it. He got him out of the way so that the tribe wouldn't help Peter once he tried to take the lost boys. He hadn't counted on Tiger Lily taking her father's place. It was uncommon for a woman to take the place of head chief but nobody disputed her ability. She joined Peter for the beginning of the war and remained by his side throughout, commanding her tribe and helping to rule the lost boys. She fought during every battle, never backing down and always defending those who couldn't defend themselves. She was almost captured, once, during a fight for the coastline against the Captain, but managed to fight him off with a swift swipe of her blade that cut off his hand.

Anna Johnson

In a school report when she was ten, Anna's teacher described her as a firecracker and the nickname has stuck ever since. It's terribly accurate. Anna is the kind of person who knows what she wants and goes after it no matter what the cost. Even though Anna is a naturally determined person she is one of the best people to be friends with. If you show her that she can trust you she will do anything to protect you and do whatever she can to help. Now that only counts for the people she likes. If you are unfortunate to get on her bad side you will quickly realise that Anna has a very explosive personality. Anna cannot remember much of her 554 years on this planet, she blames that on how old she is. She can remember the important things but everything else is a blur. She can remember being without her mother and father since she was very young. When she was fourteen years old she remembers watching both of her parents get staked by a hunter, although she doesn't remember exactly what happened. All she knows is that she wants revenge no matter what she has to do to get it.

Once upon a time there was a boy called Tyler Lockwood, although he might remind you of Hercules. Tyler lives in Mystic Falls and is an eighteen year old hybrid. 

                                      “I can go the distance."

Hercules

There are many strong men who have sown incredible bravery over time in fairytales but Hercules is one of the most renowned. There was a time when he was once vain and cared for little, he lived with his parents in a small village where he never particularly fitted in. He spoke to people but he was never popular, always too strong to play any decent games, which made him seem like a clutz to many. He had a strength that he didn't quite understand and had no idea how to control it. His parents tried to help him but there was an occasion when he reached eighteen that they could no longer deal with. He was going into town to fetch the groceries for his mother when someone attempted to steal the purse of a woman walking away from town. In an attempt to help, Hercules pulled the attacker off and threw him aside, going to the woman's aid. It wasn't until after that he noticed the man's neck was broken. His father then told him that he was not his true father, that he had been fathered by a different man years ago, before he and his mother were married. They sent him off with an address to find out who his true father was. Discovering a beast in his place.

Tyler Lockwood

Much to his dismay Tyler Lockwood is a hybrid which means that he is sired to the Original hybrid, or he would be had he not broken every bone in his body in order to get away from having to obey Klaus' orders. Tyler has always grown up in his fathers shadow, also being compared to him and being told he would never be the man his father was. All of the comparisons just made Tyler want to work harder to prove everybody wrong. Even though he has an arrogant jock persona he hasn't always been that way. Since his step father moved in to live with him and his mother Tyler has been rebelling from the dad who has taken the place of his dad. As far as sports are concerned Tyler has always been an overachiever. He is captain of the football team and runs rings around everyone in gym. Being captain of the football team obviously comes with perks, one of them being that he is one of the most popular boys in school. Somebody who has defiantly noticed this is Yasmin Jacobs. The girl has been trying to talk to him more and more and he's been tying to find a way to nicely tell her that is isn't interested. The person that does however catch is eye is the one and only Caroline Forbes.

Once upon a time there was a boy called Jeremy Gilbert, although he might remind you of Robin Hood. Jeremy lives in Mystic Falls and is a seventeen year old human.

Robin Hood

Well known for stealing from the rich to give to the poor, Robin Hood is a everyman's hero by most people. But not all reputations are completely true. There is a grain of truth to it, however. He did give riches to the poor and he certainly stole the money in the eyes of the kingdom's justice, but perhaps it isn't as straight cut as you would think. Robin White was born out of wedlock by a baker's daughter. His father allegedly contacted him when he was young, yet he can't remember any visits. The year he turned fifteen was the year a terrible plague hit his village, when his mother passed away he didn't know where to go. He had an uncle who would take over the shop but they didn't want any part of his upbringing, not seeing him as truly being any relation to him. With all other options lost, he left. He had been living in the woods for two years when he stumbled across the great war between Captain Hook and The Evil Queen. He didn't particularly care for which one of them would win, until he found that there was a third party. The lost boys. Their armour wasn't as good as the others and they were a good deal younger but they outnumbered the other armies ten to one. Lost boys weren't uncommon, apparently. Peter allowed him to help but denied him the right to fight in the war, claiming it was too dangerous. He helped out in his own way. Stealing from the adults and giving to the lost boys. Oh, and he never misses a shot with a good bow and arrow.

Jeremy Gilbert

Jeremy Gilbert had always been a bit of an outcast, never quite managing to fit in with any clique and never particularly caring enough to try and change that. He was pretty content with being the emo in the corner with a sketchpad for a best friend until things changed. All his life he had lived with his mother, never knowing his father and never particularly caring to know him. His mother passed away three years ago and he was devastated. He wasn't sure of what was going to happen to him, assuming that he was going to go into care or move in with some distant cousin. He hadn't expected that his father had been living in the same town as him all along. His transition into a Gilbert went a lot smoother than he had expected. Everyone was surprisingly welcoming, especially Elena Gilbert. Once he had his sister's name and began growing up his social life changed. He joined the basketball team, started hanging around with better people. When his father and step-mother died it felt like he was losing everything all over again but he had Elena, who became his legal guardian.

Once upon a time there was a boy called Matt Donovan, although he might remind you of Pinocchio. Matt lives in Mystic Falls and is an eighteen year old human. 

                   “You must prove yourself brave, truthful and unselfish."

Pinocchio

Pinocchio is a story that every parent has warned their children with; if you tell a lie, your nose will grow. They never went into the gory truth of the matter, though. Pinnocchio's parents lived happily with their daughter, Marie, until one day his mother and her daughter went out into the city. It was meant to be a quick journey into town and they were supposed to be back for lunch. Geppetto, Pinocchio's father, stayed up all night waiting for them and when they didn't return he went looking for them. He found out that the town had been pillaged by pirates, his daughter had died in the crossfire and his wife was taken by Captain Hook. Not being able to deal with living alone, he started working on a marionette doll. He became engrossed with the doll and made it to exact detail, creating a life-like wooden doll. Wanting his son to be real he went to a sorcerer known as Rumpelstiltskin, asking for the spell to bring him to life. Rumpel could do the spell, but he needed to trade a life for a life, Geppetto offered his. When Pinocchio awoke he had no idea what to do with himself, not having known life before. Eventually, he found his way to the lost boys and the war against Hook, who still had his mother.

Matt Donovan

On the whole Matt Donovan is the kind of person who parents would want their daughters to date. He is genuinely nice guy and is always there for anyone who might need him which in Mystic Falls isn't always a good thing. Matt is a nice guy despite the fact that he has no family. His mother died when he was young although he's not exactly sure when, his sister died less than a year ago leaving him with only his father. One day when walking down the street there was a shooting in the towns square. Matt tried to calm the situation down but was shot at, thinking quickly his father got hit with the bullet and died later on in hospital. Shortly after Tyler's mother asked Matt to move him with them and he accepted the offer, feeling like it was better than living on his own. Recently Matt has had to adjust to both life on his own and finding out that also everyone he's every know is a supernatural creature. The news doesn't make Matt see the people he cares about although it does make him see life very different. He's started having a lie about a lot of things and keeping secrets from people he cares about and even though he doesn't like it, he feels like its important.

Once upon a time there was a boy called Oliver Crow, although he might remind you of The Mad Hatter. Oliver lives in Mystic Falls and is a 200 year old hybrid.

The Mad Hatter

Although The Mad Hatter is known for being insane, it must be obvious that he wasn't always this way. It takes something special to drive someone as insane as The Hatter is, a particular kind of heartbreak. This particular heartbreak he owes to one person in particular; The Evil Queen. He was a portal master for the Queen, always taking her to and fro faithfully without so much as a questionable quirk of his eyebrow at the strange places that she wanted to go. There came a point where he couldn't be silent, however, a deed that he couldn't let happen without saying anything. The Queen wanted to be transported to the land of the dead, where Hades ruled. He would be apprehensive anyway, but the fact that she was going there in order to kill a young girl was the last nail in the casket. He refused to do so and thought little of her wrath afterwards, she needed him around and so he didn't fear. The next day his sister was gone from her room. The Queen had ordered her out of the castle and then had the guards chase her into the woods. He never saw Goldilocks again. Refusing to work with her he stole a very important item from the castle and then used his skills to take him to a different land. 

Oliver Crow

There are many people who it's probably best to avoid in Mystic Falls, but Oliver Crow may just be on top of many people's list in that respect. He may seem as though he has no idea what he's babbling about half of the time with riddles and rhetorical questions that will leave you wondering for hours but in actual fact he's one of the most devious residents in Mystic. He's just better at lulling people into a false sense of security, making them think that he's harmless and then using them for his own means. Most importantly, learning their secrets. He believes that you can bring anyone down if you know enough of their secrets and luckily for him he happens to know most of them. It's best to try and stay on his good side for that reason, otherwise things can go badly for you. He has a certain amount of charm, behaving as dignified as the good sheriff, Elijah. The main difference being that he doesn't hold any of the honour that the other man does and he won't think twice before stepping on you to get further up the ladder.
