Hi everyone, I have a huge favor to ask of you but I know that the tumblr community can come together to help each other. When my girlfriend was young she took out student loans under the impression that she’d be able to find some job after she graduated. Now she has a bachelors in Graphic Design and a Masters in IT but they might as well be toilet paper with how useful they’ve been. After having been let go from her part time job at a library, she has been searching for a job for months and we are down to our last penny. We have a safe place to live but besides that things are pretty desperate. We’ve sacrificed everything we have in order to try and keep up with her student loans but they are soon going to overtake us. If you can Help even a little or if you can reblog this post and spread the word it would mean the world to me.

A Chance to Ask and to Educate!
Alright So this is very different from my usual post but I need you to stick with me. So I’ve been going to church for a very long time and as a queer lady in a world where the LGBT community is consistently oppressed under the guise of religion that decision has always been tinged with a slight bit of apprehension for me. But this Sunday for the first time in a very long time I felt welcomed in my church. You see I go to “southern” baptist church and over the last few months our attendance has been going down exponentially so today the pastor decided to give a sermon addressing that issue. He talked about how our church has always been different from others and how in the 60′s the people of our church were actively involved in the civil rights movement. The sermon quickly turned a lot more personal when he told us the story of how his close cousin had died of AIDS. He talked about how much he’s struggled over the last few months. He knew people were leaving the church because he refused to condemn those us who are different and yet he was also aware that he couldn’t stop preaching what he knew was right no matter how many people left. Now I can’t possibly get across how powerful his sermon was. Preaching It was in his own words one of the most difficult tasks he’s ever had to fulfill. Now in honor of his cousin he wants to do his best to help the LGBTQ+ community in any way that he can and I promised I would help him do that. So this is where I need your help. He would like to make a video answering your questions but more importantly taking in your stories. At this point he knows very little about the LGBTQ+ community and he wants to be educated. So If there’s something you’ve ever wanted to ask a Pastor about the community or if there is something you’d like him to learn please send it in to my inbox. All of the question/stories I receive will be addressed in a video.
I know this is an unusual request but please take some time to send something in. You definitely do not have to be religious. He truly wants to help the community as a whole despite our differences.  If you can’t send anything in then I would love it if you could reblog this post and help spread the word!

Hi Diana. Have you ever been on the 7 cups of tea website? I noticed it on your master post for how to be okay, and I was thinking about trying it out. The only thing that I was worried about was when you “connect to a listener”, do you know if it’s chat boxes and text-based, or if you actually see/hear the person? Because I wouldn’t want the latter at all. I would only want to do it if it’s text chatting. I tried looking into it, but I still am not sure. Do you know?
I honestly don’t know I re blogged the post because I thought that website might be helpful but I haven’t used it personally. I do think that after signing up you would be notified if you actually had to speak with anyone.

How to Fake Confidence
1. Hold your head high, and look others in the eye
2. Smile
3. Stop apologizing
4. Relax and be quick to laugh at yourself (but not at others!)
5. Dress in a way that indicates you have self worth
6. Use good manners (like saying please and thank you) as this is actually a mark of self respect
7. Expect other people to believe in you, and to see and appreciate your good qualities.

Throughout our lives we’ve all gone through struggles whether it’s been bullying, financial struggles health problems; discrimination or life in general. Give Help, Get help is a new initiative run by both The Ouat Safe Haven and Operation:Spread the Rainbow. It’s goal is simple, to get Oncer’s like you to share their stories and hopefully help others in the fandom who may be going through the same troubles. When it comes to helping people I’m always pulling from personal experiences. So I believe the more we share our stories the more people we can be help.  I hope that with this new project the fandom will learn to help each other out rather than tear each other down. If you’re interested and have got a story to tell or some advice to give, you can submit it to either Operation Spread the Rainbow (if it’s LGBT related) or to The OUAT Safe Haven!
Things to Remember.
Advice can be given anonymously or not!
Let people know if your blog is open to messages.
If you would like to help more please ask about joining one of the blogs for help with campaign
If you have any questions please be sure to ask
Don’t forget to spread the word to let others know of this new project!

tips for what to do after a really long cry because you’re probably feeling all kinds of exhausted and drained and i don’t want that for you in the slightest:
take a shower and change all of your clothes even your socks and underwear. this is the first step to everything.
pour yourself a big, cold glass of water and drink it. all of it. once you’re done, get yourself a refill. this will boost u physically and emotionally instantly please trust me.
grab a snack, something light that you don’t have to wait to prepare. i recommend a pudding cup, a piece of fruit, yogurt, a popsicle, or some crackers.
get under the covers. turn on something - tv, a movie, music, anything distracting. or consider calling a friend or talking to anyone nearby, even your sibling the next room over!!
know that you are loved. you are important. you mean more than you know right now, more than you will maybe ever know. you are worth all the stars in the sky. you deserve to feel good.

facts about the female body:
everyone has rolls when they bend over
when someone says that your beautiful, they aren’t lying
any girl you ask will have a stretch mark, they’re beyond normal
you should have more confidence, it’s really attractive
you’re allowed to fall in love with yourself, and you should
it’s okay to not love every part of your body(but you should)
everyone’s boobs are uneven.
you are fucking beautiful

100 Reasons NOT To Kill Yourself
Wow my post has gone up so many notes in such a small amount of time. I really hope this helps you guys and you really do use this a reference when needed. (boys-and-suicide)
1. We would miss you.
2. It’s not worth the regret. Either by yourself if you failed or just simply left scars, or the regret everyone else feels by not doing enough to help you.
3. It does get better. Believe it or not it will eventually get better. Sometimes you have to go through the storm to get to the rainbow.
4. There’s so much you would miss out on doing.
5. There is always a reason to live. It might not be clear right now, but it is always there.
6. So many people care, and it would hurt them if you hurt yourself.
7. You ARE worth it. Don’t let anyone, especially yourself, tell you otherwise.
8. You are amazing.
9. A time will come, once you’ve battled the toughest times of your life and are in ease once again, where you will be so glad that you decided to keep on living. You will emerge stronger from this all, and won’t regret your choice to carry on with life. Because things always get better.
10. What about all the things you’ve always wanted to do? What about the things you’ve planned, but never got around to doing? You can’t do them when you’re dead.
11. I love you. Even if only one person loves you, that’s still a reason to stay alive.
12. You won’t be able to listen to music if you die.
13. Killing yourself is never worth it. You’ll hurt both yourself and all the people you care about.
14. There are so many people that would miss you, including me.
15. You’re preventing a future generation, YOUR KIDS, from even being born.
16. How do you think your family would feel? Would it improve their lives if you died?
