omggg so, my oldest brother was a die hard fan of the sims + the sims 2 and talked me up on it that way, but i didn’t start playing until ts3 was out & i was able to check those out from the library (and also got some random packs as holiday/birthday presents).

tbh the community (for me, ts3 and early earlyyyy ts4 era youtubers, a.k.a. the icons and the blueprints + early days of sim twitter) is what keeps me locked tf in and coming back time after time.

One day, my sister checked out the Sims 4 from the library on a whim. We didn’t expect much, because we were under the impression that it was pretty much just a Marriage And Baby simulator.

Then we created a little gremlin man that ran around clogging drains, implying mothers are llamas, and performing voodoo. We loved it. My mom bought me the PC version for Christmas and I’ve been simming ever since. My sister, not so much lmao

Hey y’all, Eliza here! There’s never a dull moment in a QUIVERFULL household, and I have lots of updates to share with you!

First of all, PRECIOUS JOY has started courting a Watcherly young man named James BANKS!! You probably know his family from their TV SHOW ON SLC!! Yes, THOSE Banks!! Our family is prepared for LOTS of Watcher-honoring TELEVISION APPEARANCES!!

Here’s Joy and her BEAU!! I always knew my family would be FAMOUS on TV one day!!

I’m NOT surprised that Joy is the first of my girls to start courting! I have ALWAYS said that ALL my girls are beautiful, even the PLAINEST ONE!!

In other news, my eldest son Ignatius and his wife Miracle have just welcomed their FIRST little BLESSING from the Watcher! They had a SWEET baby boy and named him Robert after his POOPOP, my husband Bob! PooPop and MeMe LOVE you, little Robbie!!

And I saved the BEST news for last!! I was TWICE as blessed as Miracle, and this week I gave birth to TWINS!! This was totally unexpected, since I never have any ultrasounds or medical care during my pregnancies. I’m just SO FERTILE!!! I’m so PROUD to welcome my two youngest sons, Hunter and Fisher!

Dear diary,

I still can’t believe mama let me go on a mission trip. Maybe she just wanted to get me out of the house so she wouldn’t have to look at me for a while, but I don’t care. Every day I thank the Watcher for making this happen, because this has been the best two weeks of my life!

Windenburg is an amazing city steeped in history. Our group toured some ancient ruins that are literally thousands of years old! Even our hostel is older than the whole town of Willow Creek!

And it turns out, the people of Windenburg have actually been following the Watcher for hundreds of years. We saw a stunning ancient cathedral where they honored the Watcher with hauntingly beautiful chanting. It was nothing like the Megachurch back home. I’d get in trouble if I said this out loud, but it was BETTER than the Megachurch back home.

This is the first time I’ve been away from home without my family around. At first, I was scared. But I’ve started to love it… the people in my mission group are so kind! It’s been a whole two weeks with no one interrupting me, no one calling me stupid. We’ve all been talking about travel and history and photography. We’ve been eating Windenburg pastries and no one is telling me I need to stay trim.

And there’s this guy… James. How do I even write about James? First of all, he’s so CUTE. He’s been so sweet and such a gentleman. I mean, the other guys in the group are nice, but James is something else entirely. I’ve never felt this way before. Like, socializing with most people is an effort, even if it’s fun. But with James, it’s no effort at all. It’s as natural as breathing. Dear Watcher, please let him feel the same!!

Last night, James gave me this adorable elephant necklace. No one has ever given me jewelry before. I never want to take it off.

Going home tomorrow, but I wish this trip would never end.

I love my mom, respect my dad, but I almost never expect them to truly be right on anything. But I have to admit it, them sending me on this mission to Windenburg? They were right on freakin’ target.

Our mission trip group wasn’t huge (eight people total), so it wasn’t like I didn’t notice the sad-eyed girl in yellow hanging back from the group before we had a chance. We just didn’t really take each other in until she interrupted my 1:00a.m. desperate attempt for sleep hot chocolate session.

James (singing): And when the cops closed the fair, I cut my long baby hair-

Joy: Oh! I’m so sorry!

James: WOO! You scared me so bad. Also, please don’t tell anybody you heard me singing songs from that vampire movie. The soundtrack is just so good and I-

Joy: Um...I- I don’t really know anything about a v-vampire movie. But...my name’s Joy. Joy Pancakes.

James: I’m James Banks. And yeah, from those Banks. How about this, Pancakes -- I’ll make you a cup too, and we can talk since we both can’t sleep

James: “...And there’s so freaking many of us, that I just feel...lost in it all. Like, nobody cares that I like to write, or about the Adventure Club, or that I was lead in the musical last year. I mean, Ivy - my sister, we’re the triplets - came, but everyone else was...I don’t know. Like our family’s famous, but I’m still nobody. But, enough of me. What about you?”

Joy: “Oh, I d-don’t know. There’s not a lot to know about me...I live in Willow Creek with my m-mama, my daddy, my s-sisters, and my brothers. I mean, I’m a triplet too? If that’s interesting at all.”

James: “I get the feeling you’re a lot like me, Pancakes. You don’t really get a chance to speak up and really talk about yourself. Hm?”

Joy: “Well...”

She told me everything. How much her mom liked her sisters instead of her, how her dad was there but barely looked at anything that wasn’t a TV or the wall, and how she wanted to take pictures of things. And God, if I was not falling in love with every word, I must have had the WORST indigestion on Earth. And I fell in love with every day of that trip -- if I could pair up with Joy to hand out Bibles, walk the museums, hike to the bluffs, I did it.

I knew how sad she was the morning of our last full day before heading back to SimNation, but luckily I had one more trick up my sleeve for our last night.

James: “Pancakes...um, Joy. I’ve had such a cool time on this trip with you. And...I want to do this the right way, or at least how my parents and probably yours want me to do it once we’re home, b-but I got you something. To show you I’m not goin’ anywhere. You might have to take off your sweater.”

Joy: James? Oh my g-goodness...this is so beautiful. I, I, I don’t know-

James: Well, could start with th-hng!

Joy: O-oh my gosh, I am so sorry!

James: No, no, it’s ok, Joy. Oh my God-um, it was really nice.

Joy: O-oh...oh. Yeah. I...agree.

Joy and James (in unison): Let’s head back to the hostel.

Hi! I'm Dittany Rainbow, and this is my lovely husband, Azul Rainbow. We're a couple of God-fearing conservative Christian Berry sims hoping to spread the word of the Lord and make more warriors for Christ through our children.

Azul and I met in high school. We're high school sweethearts! Isn't that so sweet? We met specifically in our church youth group and bonded over our love of Christ. It didn't take long for us to realize we were deeply in love and met to be together.

We got married as soon as possible. It was a very lovely ceremony. I wore a very beautiful, modest dress. As we said our vows, I, being an overemotional female, became overcome with emotion and started crying. Thankfully Azul understood!

Our first kiss as husband and wife...and first kiss in general! That's right, we never kissed when we were courting or even engaged. We believe that it's best to save the first kiss for the wedding. It's more special that way.

Our second kiss. We were so filled with love and passion for one another that we banged heads. We did work it out though.

James sent us some pictures from Windenburg and, wow, the JOY and the changes in his heart you can sense even just from a passing glance at this photo or just reading his texts is unreal! Praise the Lord! I’m so happy to see the impact that this mission has had on his heart and am excited to see him when he gets home in the next few days.

I can’t help but notice how close he is to the young lady in the yellow! I didn’t press him on it, as I feel that his feelings are his business until he shares them with me and nobody ever stumbled truly from taking a close group picture with the opposite sex. She seems like a sweet girl, and if there’s any news or feeling on James’s heart when he returns, I’ll be excited to hear it!

Sim Exclusive: The Banks Wives’ Taylor and Zion Welcome Baby No. 1!

Banks fans, it’s time to add the first grandbaby to the family tree!

Sim can exclusively reveal that Dawn Brinley Banks was born at 8:03 p.m. at Oasis Springs General exactly four days ago. She weighed in at 6 pounds and 5 ounces, and was 18.5 inches long. Dawn is the first Banks grandchild, but not far behind are pregnant sisters Aspyn and Eden, each expecting baby boys Servetus and Gideon respectively in the coming months.

Proud mama Taylor had this to say: “Dawn is really the beginning of a new day for us, our marriage, and my journey as a woman. She has really softened my heart, and showed me that I don’t need to be hardened to God’s plans and His design for our lives -- I can take what works, make it my own, but still keep my eyes on what matters. I’m already excited for baby number two!”

When asked about rumors of a move to Strangerville for husband Zion to join growing wildlife conservation and rehabilitation efforts, the new parents declined comment but expressed that they were leaning on faith for their next move. Good luck to the new little family!

It’s truly shocking to be at this place in my journey as a man, husband, and father. Von rang in his18th birthday by signing on to play for the SBA. He’ll be starting with the Willow Creek Warriors as a point guard. He has trained so hard and worked so hard to be noticed by scouts, and I applaud his bravery in skipping the conventional path of college and going right for his dreams.

When a young man finds a woman to direct his path, it is a good, good thing, and I’m encouraged by the heart of Von’s young lady, Rachel Nichols. Rachel was on the board of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes alongside Von and through working closely and with God by their side, these two have formed a perfect team to walk through Von’s new career.

As for Caleb, he declined to join us for this picture celebrating his brother, but he will be taking his own next steps at the Del Sol Institute of the Arts. I’m incredibly proud of him as well.

Diverting slightly, one of Jordyn’s sons, James has been struggling a bit lately. God doesn’t call on men to be content quite in the way He asks women to be, but they should still be focused on the greatest purpose one of His men could achieve; to be a provider! However, James has expressed little to no interest in courtship, in Bible Study, or other Godly pursuits as he navigates the midst of his teen years. 

When Jordyn and I talk to him about his career interests or what God is directing him to do, he constantly brings up travelling. So, as a means to both satisfy this desire in his heart and maybe direct his heart toward some less wordly friends and relationships, we’ve decided to send him alone on a teen mission trip to Windenburg. Although we don’t attend the Megachurch of the Watcher here in Oasis Springs, they were more than happy to accept James as they had seen our show and loved how much we display our love for the Lord. So, hopefully, we’ll get some awesome pictures of him and he’ll come back with a changed heart!

It is a VERY special Love Day this year at the Banks house! Both our married girls, Aspyn and Eden, as well as Taylor, Zion’s sweet wife, are expecting! Aspyn and Eden coordinated the most awesome dual announcement. To make it even more sweet, Taylor gave a beautiful speech on how this gift of life has softened the rebellion in her heart and while she may not agree with ALL of what God asks women to do as we see it, she now sees the gifts in God’s design for womanhood through motherhood. There wasn’t a single dry eye!

Aspyn and Eden are both expecting little boys, while Taylor’s little girl should be arriving in just a few months! We anxiously await the arrivals of our first three grandbabies, whose names are already picked and who I’ve gotten permission to announce: Dawn Brinley (named for being her mom’s new beginning - how sweet!), Servetus Santos (named for Aspyn and Santos’s favorite theologian), and Gideon Elijah (of course, holding the names of TWO strong Biblical men), we love you all so much!

While we were all gathered in the living room (so plenty of watchful eyes for purity and honesty), Benjamin and Isabela, Santos’s sweet sister, struck up a conversation about how she was enjoying SimNation! We can’t help but wonder if a courtship could be in their future - Benny is the family’s aspiring pastor and Aspyn secretly shared that when Isabela brought home her list of ideal traits in a partner from the teen girls lock-in at their church, a pastor was her first item!

It was a beautiful day of fellowship, testimony, good food, and displaying the fruits of following God’s plan for your life, especially to our teens close to entering this season, and our marrieds.

SLC Digital Exclusive: Baby Banks is On The Way!

“We are so excited to announce that Taylor is expecting, due in just six months!” said Zion. “We truly were NOT expecting to be...expecting so soon, at least not until after I was done with school. But people make plans, God laughs!” He continued, sharing a giggle with his wife.

“I’m starting to feel better, not my best but not as badly as I felt at all.” Taylor shared. “The first trimester nerves are fading a bit, so now we’re excited, just trying to focus on how Zion can finish school, maybe some alternative paths he could take on to still follow his passion for animals and science but still be present in our family. But we believe God will make the path clear!”

1) She was HORRIBLY rude to me, innocently minding my own business and commenting on a recent Simstagram post HERE!

2) She wore an UGLY, FRUMPY, PERFORMATIVELY MODEST, PINK wedding dress. So much for MODESTY!!!! She also made her guests eat CAKE and drink PUNCH with NO ALCOHOL, while her and her K-1 visa husband ate TACOS!! When MY SEXY LIBERAL HUSBAND and I got married, I wore an AWESOME, REVEALING DRESS and we had A FULL BAR with absolutely NOTHING NON-ALCOHOLIC!!!!!

3) Her SimTube channel is SO annoying and she is SUCH a hypocrite. LOOK at this thumbnail she posted of herself in a REVEALING DRESS, Santos with his SHIRT UNBUTTONED, and his SISTER (#FreeIsabela!!!!!) in an UGLY dress with a MODESTY TOP UNDER!!!! You can CLEARLY tell in this picture that Isabela is MISERABLE and was DEFINITELY CRYING before the picture. If I could RESCUE her, I would BURN every denim skirt and replace them with t-shirts featuring my FAVORITE GIRLBOSSES!

That is ALL I could come up with for NOW, but I’ll be posting like this everyday until you guys stop LEGHUMPING!!!! I insult them because I CARE and it is the MORAL and RIGHT thing to do to DEFEAT THESE EVIL FUNDIES!!
