1) im not sure when i had this preference, but being referred to as enby gives me such a euphoric rush that i haven't felt when being referred to as nonbinary, girl or boy. being referred to as a man or woman or nonbinary just feels hella icky

2) after years of playing around with names, no i settled with Sapphire. to me, it screams pastel floral petals dancing with vibrant baby blue flames. the perfect analogy to my genderfluid-ity

i came out when i was 9-13 and my family never used she/her (i am afab) for me again! yes i was very young

I get genderqueer euphoria from the most random stuff

like wearing lipstick and button-ups at the same time

or being compared to a boy and a girl in the same sentence

or being told my voice sounds like a 12 year old boy.

i know this is such a silly thing to be this happy about but my friends respect my pronouns and it makes me so happy like even if i didnt outright tell them i use they/them they picked it up and use them all the time for me and its just so jbhsdffjkl i just feel so seen i love my friends so much sometimes

One time at I told this girl I was nonbinary, and she looked me up and down and went

“Oh, I thought you were a trans. … Are you sure you’re nonbinary? Not that there’s anything wrong with that but… really? I support you though!”

It didn't really sound like she meant it, and I get really tired of people thinking I'm trans masc, as if masc enbies don't exist.

i dont know how to come out to my parents (again) they both know that im nonbinary but they still only use she/her with me (probably bc i came out in middle school) and idk if they will use my preferred pronouns!!(although i think they will bc im like 50% sure one of my dads siblings is agender/nonbinary too) Also i want to use a different name :( its not like i dont like my name its really pretty but its just not me!!! and i dont want my mom to be offended by me asking to go by a different name and get scolded for being "rude"

another thing im scared of is them telling me that im not nonbinary bc i present fem most of the time

i saw everybody talk about their names so here’s mine! my deadname is literally “jessica”, it’s a really feminine name, i went to find gender neutral names, the name i liked, which is “asher” was so catchy that i told my therapist about it, i then made it my username!!

you literally don't have to tell anyone what you were assigned. that's personal information that you have every right to keep private. you're allowed to not want people to know things. it's perfectly understandable if what you were assigned is sensitive information or something you'd rather people not focus on.

you can just present yourself as you are. you wouldn't be doing anything wrong. it's good to do what makes you happy, comfortable, and safe. if anyone tries to tell you otherwise, they don't have your best interest in mind and you shouldn't listen to them. just be you <3

for me, non-binary means both masculine and feminine, (not bi-gender ok?) the other sign for me is that i like oversized clothes.

Hi! Happy pride month! I wanted to share a good story with you

I’m nonbinary and uses he/they pronouns but I’m only out as a transmasc who uses he/him pronouns

So the other day, I was talking with my cis friend and she told me she didn’t really understand the concept of the neutral pronoun (in our mother tongue which doesn’t have one like they, it’s a neo pronoun). I was waiting for some enby phobic stuff but instead, she continued the discussion. And when we talked about a common friend who uses they/them pronouns, she never misgendered them and used the good words, the good name and everything.

It makes me happy to see that even if my friend doesn’t understand the neutral pronoun she will never misgender anyone using it and now I think about coming out to her with my right identity

When I say nonbinary people can look like anything I am aggressively including nonbinary people who have beards, body hair, and who are assumed to be cis guys, firstly because that’s also me and secondly because we’re always overlooked or subjected to cringe culture. Nonbinary doesn’t just mean skinny, pale and absent of gender signifiers.
