You can change your name, it doesn't matter how often you change it, it doesn't matter however many names you go by, if you want to, you can change it, you could change it every week, every month, every year, it doesn't matter, you can change your name, don't feel bad about it

I don't mind my birth name but because it's frustrating hearing none middle eastern people to pronounce it, I changed it to Zy it's a nickname from a nickname haha I like it because it's also feels gender neutral for days I feel agender or non binary. Although it's only changed on tumblr I really like it XD
The Saskatchewan government says schools must now seek parental consent when children under 16 want to change their names or pronouns.
Education Minister Dustin Duncan said Tuesday that the province wants to standardize pronoun and naming policies, as they varied from one school division to another.
A similar move earlier this year in New Brunswick was faced by intense opposition by LGBTQ groups.
Sometimes i don't feel like any name is good enough. I've come out at least 4 times officially, each under a different name, and none of them stuck. And the most recent name is starting to feel weird. I've tried so many names, Aspen, Moonie, Jekyll, Cody, just going back to my birth name, and now Jerzy, and none of them feel good anymore. I think I'd be happier without a name. But how would that even work?
i actually feel you there, names are tricky! i'm plural and have alters, so naturally names are going to be a challenge for me because there are multiple people living in one body, but i understand how it can be challenging for singlets as well. names are a very permanent thing which can make one feel very stressed when it comes to choosing a new one- other people can be very judgmental about names and name changes too, it makes it even more stressful to try to decide on a name
i think it's okay that you've changed your name so many times- i have too! i've gone by a lot of different singlet names and i've accepted that it may not be possible for me to keep one name forever. i honestly think your idea of going without a name is awesome, and if you want to do that, i think you should. people could refer to you with pronouns only. obviously i don't think there's a legal way to remove your name from paperwork or identification, but you can absolutely choose to just not go by a name with people you know if that's what makes you feel the most comfortable
i think that's an awesome concept, and if you want to go for it, go for it! names are stressful as hell, it's a very human concept that eludes me at times
