Chinese Culture and Traditional Martial Arts Appreciation Group in Singapore
We at Singapore Martial Arts (Pinyin : Xing Zhou Guo Shu), strive to preserve and promote Chinese Culture & Traditional Chinese Martial Arts so we do it by Posting articles regarding Chinese Culture, Background and organising group training in Traditional Chinese Martial arts training. Traditional Chinese Martial arts training aside from Self Defence, could also help someone Maintain Good Health and Develop Character. A sound body, we mean not only being free of illness, in addition, it includes the opportunity to work energetically, react quickly and think clearly. Furthermore, unlike combat sports, Traditional Chinese Martial arts training should be practice in any respect ages, even well past 70 years old, the longer the person practices, the greater the person becomes.

The teaching of Traditional Chinese Fighting techinques also emphasizes moral development, stressing fundamental traditional Chinese values of Loyalty, Filial Piety, Benevolence and Righteousness. All these qualities, acquired through Traditional Chinese Martial arts training training, might help a person in family and work life, and it can also assist anybody educate his / her children. Currently our club is organising monthly Kung Fu Workshop using the combine drilling of Qigong, Southern Style Kung Fu, Chinese Sanda Kickboxing and Traditional Chinese Fighting styles Weapons of Sabre, Spear, Sword and Staff guided by our volunteer committee members. Our Kung Fu Workshop is meant to function as a platform for newbies to understand more about Chinese culture also to experience Traditional Chinese Fighting techinques in the fundamental level. On account of we've got met trainees being affected by asthma and chronic join pains, we've took up a significantly “Gentle Approach” to coaching in comparison to commercial gyms. We won't push our trainees to coach hard, they may also take breaks any moment during training.
