Btw: I do have a Malcolm Merlyn muse that I don’t have listed. Which I miss playing. And Oliver Queen, whom I also miss playing.

“Okay so if I tweak this..” Violet murmurs to herself adjusting the calibrations just a little bit. “And I give it a.. CRAP!” tumbling into the padding behind the treadmill she lays there in an awkward heap, staring up at the ceiling. “Too high.. Note to self.. Also start running before starting lightning fast treadmill.. Also secondary note.. Ouch..”

“Oh no darling. You see I happen to know my way around the circuit. Demons, witches, angels. The works.” Bela twirls the flower between her fingers calmly. “And not just because of what I am now. I gained that experience long before I became this. I’ve worked with a few hunters in my time.”
ourfracturedcode‌ (Bela):
“Oh goodness no.” Bella laughs, her own head tilting back with the motion. “We have no interest in your death. There is nothing we would gain from it. My boss thinks there is more to you than meets the eye. Though I wish he would allow me to handle this little business on my own.” stepping forward she clasps her arms together at her waist. “I have a bit of experience with these sort of things after all.”
That ‘s a nice change of pace. Finally. Though hearing that she’d inadvertently piqued her boss’ interest wasn’t exactly encouraging to her. “What do you mean handle on your own?” Her brows pull together before she quietly snorts. “You’re a demon. Of course you do.”

“Good, so we’re back on the same page as it were.” straightening with the flower in hand she pauses, hearing Crowley complaining in the back of her mind. “Sorry but I doubt my boss would buy the concerned third party bit. Most people who see things like this, or know of them? Things end very badly for them.”
“Mutual curiosity.” Mae resists the urge to sigh heavily. Of course they wouldn’t. It would be too easy. A laugh bubbles over her lips, though it doesn’t actually sound too humorous. She pauses before tilting her head back long enough for the light of the moon to illuminate the crisscrossed scars across her throat as well as the myriad of bite scars. “Bring it on.”

“Now now.. No need to get offended.” Bela laughs softly, stopping her pacing to pick a flower in the grass beside the road. “You seem very sweet, not exactly the revenge sort of girl. That is more along the lines of what someone like me would have done.” and would still do. “But my question.. Your interest in this..”
“Oh ‘m not offended in the least,” Mae assures her. “More curious than anythin’. I don’t get the chance to hear reasonin’ like that too often.” Sort of a lie but there was no need to add that. “Just a concerned third party.”

“Sounds to me like someone knows a thing or two about revenge.” Bela looks amused, almost downright pleased at the prospect. “So tell me,” she begins to pace around the woman, looking her over. “Why would someone like you be so interested in this? Most people would look the other way.”
“I might.” She stays still, even though the way demon was pacing around makes her uneasy. An eyebrow quirks up at the question. “Someone like me? ‘M almost feelin’ like I should be offended.” Yes, she is sidestepping the question for a moment.

“Which begs to question, what could a siren possibly want?” her mind is running through priceless items, artifacts, things that may be of interest to something like a siren. “A person would be most likely. Perhaps a hunter who killed one of her sisters. Or something with some sort of power. Which would be most likely in your opinion?”
“Findin’ somethin’ with power to make revenge possible,” Mae replies without hesitation, the night wind blowing her hair back. “The more power you have the easier payback ‘s.”

Bela considers the possibilities behind this. Why would a siren of all things set up shop? And why would a crossroads demon become involved? There was no soul to gather but.. A partnership had potential. “So a siren sets up to do what she does best. But why would she draw attention to herself? That would be the question. Clearly, she’s after something. Or someone.”
“Which ‘s where I’d run into a wall. Figured might as well use the avenues that others don’t have access to.” That and it kept her from decking the one deputy that seemed to think she had nothing between her ears.

“Well that does sound like a siren. Making herself desirable to whomever her victim is.” a trick that could be very useful in her line of work of course. “Is it all tied right into the same location or is it in others?” because this siren could be worth tracking down and dragging to hell. Although it would be tricky and not without its hazards.
“Very Aphrodite of her.” She hums her agreement before falling silent to watch the demon. “Seems to be multiple locations,” Mae finally says after some consideration. “Not tied to one place or intersection.

“I suppose I could go for a nice manicure, and perhaps a facial. A spa day is needed when you’re crawling around the depths of hell.” and she had spent plenty of time there, the stench of sulfur was never coming out.
“Now that is something I can tell you we’re on the same page about.” the last hunters she had run into, had ultimately caused her current situation. “So tell me what you can about this so called siren. I could do with a little fun.” and perhaps point her in the direction of two well deserving siblings.
“Make a whole day of it. I’ve heard massages are nice too.” She wasn’t really a big fan of someone she didn’t know having access to her body. But they really did sound relaxing.
Mae nodded, slightly amused by her tone. Mostly because she knew at least a couple that tended to grate on nerves. “She’s been seen mostly at night. With instances of at dusk or dawn. There are some that have reported a chick with long red hair. Others shorter black hair. But just about everyone felt some sort of pull to her. The ones that didn’t get out an’ then, you know, die.”

“So you decide to go ringing on doorbells that shouldn’t be rung?” Bela’s eyebrows lift, her eyelids dropping only to raise again to show a brief red. “I can assure you that I have little use for money now. After all I can simply take whatever I want.” not that being human had stopped her from doing that before.
“A siren-like woman.” Bela hums, shoulders lifting in a half interested shrug. “I think you may be barking up the wrong tree. Hunters would be more to your liking than a demon I’m sure. We don’t do anything for free, let alone out of the kindness of our warm little hearts.” pausing, Bela lifts a finger. “Although I could perhaps point you in the right direction of some hunters. If you ask nicely.”
Mae looks unimpressed by the quick flicker of red in the other woman’s eyes. Demon eyes weren’t new to her anymore and since she knew what she’d been looking for they weren’t a shock either. “Everyone can use money. Even pretty demon ladies.”
She nods in confirmation before smiling again, though this time she has to keep herself from laughing. “I mean, you’re not wrong. ‘M not exactly a fan of demons–No offense, darlin’–but sometimes Hunters an’ I don’t get along.”

“Depending on the information, a little bit of a deal may be required.” Bela admits, her eyes moving to survey the area for the usual would be traps. “Although I can see you are a woman who often gets what she wants. Perhaps we’re not too dissimilar.” eyes going back to Mae, Bela offers a pleasant smile. “What information are you looking for?”
“I have money.” No way in hell–yes, she got the irony of that statement, thank you–was she actually going to make a deal. Not with a crossroad’s demon. She smiled in return, though her expression was more guarded.
“There’ve been a rash of killins nearby. Local law are SOL when it comes to leads an’ ‘m gettin’ tired of gettin’ stonewalled. People mentionin’ seein’ a ‘beautiful siren-like woman’ here made me wonder a little.”

“I haven’t ever been at a crossroads by accident,” Mae murmured, hands in her pocket. “Just a little information. Not lookin’ to make a deal.”

The chains binding you to the prison floor smell faintly of kerosene, and they're wet to the touch (only if you think about it). how long has it been since they clipped your wings? you hate how useless you are when you can't do anything except sit still and look pretty. why has nobody come to rescue you yet?
