I use Firealpaca for all my art! which is really funny considering i literally have Clip Studio Paint. Spent money on a fancy art program with way better features and a huge brush store only to keep using my simple ass program that i keep out of date on purpose.

Now about my process...technically speaking the steps are

rough sketch -> cleanup -> color -> render -> finishing touches

HOWEVER. I don't fully do those in order. I'll have some parts of a drawing fully rendered before i even finish cleaning up the sketch on another part of it. I'll also have times where i have to fix up the lines more even after coloring. Prime example here vvv

rendering on most of the body is done but the hand is still a rough sketch, and the posters in the background are still just solid colors. Since this work is unfinished i also still haven't got many of my nonsensical brightly colored highlights in there yet.

Overall I'd say my process is just as deceptively messy as my results are, which I'm fine with. focusing too much on order and cleanliness was such a drag anyway. That's why i literally stopped doing lineart y'know? fixing up the sketches is way less annoying! No extra layers, no drawing the same line over and over to get it right, just erasing wonky bits and redrawing a few lines here and there. (and also it feels less bad if you notice a pose is wrong and you have to go back and change it!)

I'll definitely share it when i've got more oc refs ready! so far there's only two on there. And thanks for convincing me to finally try ArtFight for real; I've been too scared to participate for so many years but having people tell me they wanna see me do it was just the right push i needed!

That said, I probably won't be able to do too much art for it. I'm also trying to apply for zines now, and I've got commissions on top of that too, so I'm certainly busier than usual. ^-^; Hopefully being involved with more stuff gets my name out there a little more though!
