I’m sorry, but while I will admit that Percabeth isn’t a perfect ship, and while I also understand why not everyone would ship it, I just find a hard time trusting anyone who rants about how toxic Percabeth is and then ships either Percy or Annabeth with Luke.

Also Annabeth struggles with at least one class she struggles in, because she can’t remember to turn in the homework.

I get that the biggest complaint towards Piper’s character, is that she falls into the “not like other girls” trope, but can I just say, that having that phase is just… what being a teenage girl is like?

I’m not saying that every girl has this phase, but it’s very common, and to be fair, it makes sense. We were trying to figure out who we are, while also fighting misogynistic standards placed on us by both men and women. A lot of girls cope with not fitting this standard by just hating everyone who fit it.

We see Piper get more comfortable with traditionally “girly” things when she figures out who she is. She does her hair in braids, instead of cutting it unevenly. She is comfortable wearing Hello Kitty. She no longer feels the need to separate herself from other girls, because she feels comfortable in who she is.

I still think alot of it is Rick’s misogyny, but also… that’s just how teenage girls act.

I am a firm believer that Jason and Piper should have broken up, but it was just as important for us to see Jason move on, as it was for us to see Piper.

The show has the chance to do something rare, which is change my mind about a character. That character being Hades.

Because personally, I never agreed with the notion that he was the best godly parent, or even one of the best godly parents. Sure, he didn’t neglect his kids, but he was still abusive towards Nico in more ways than one, and he did apologize, but some of the stuff he did was, in my opinion, unforgivable (like throwing fucking fire towards him?!).

However, these are things that can be easily removed from the show. I think it makes sense for Hades and Nico to have a rocky relationship, but there are so many more ways they can show this, and show them mend their relationship. Personally, I would love to see a moment where Hades is defending Nico, maybe verbally, or maybe it’s a situation like Poseidon did with Percy, and he is saving Nico from being killed by Kronos.
