An old and homely grandmother accidentally summons a demon. She mistakes him for her gothic-phase teenage grandson and takes care of him. The demon decides to stay at his new home.
Summary: arthit reflects on his life with kongphob.
Note: i worked super hard on this. it’s very long and i hope you all enjoy it! for the anon who requested “art + kong living together, cooking together, adopting a kitten together, meeting each other’s family (who are very supportive)”
arthit curses when he unlocks the door and is suddenly bathed in darkness. he scrambles for the light switch, but stops himself when he notices christmas lights lighting up around him. the room is illuminated in a soft magenta, a swirl of colors from the small red and pink bulbs.
photographs are tied to streamers hanging from the living room ceiling.
“oh my god.” arthit whispers to himself, grabbing the one closest to him. it’s pretty low-quality, a standard selfie of kongphob lying his head on arthit’s while they cuddle on the couch. from a photographic standpoint, it’s completely insignificant. but arthit remembers it as the picture they took to celebrate the first piece of furniture they bought together.
you know when you’re motivated but like, in the wrong way?? like “i’m ready to do all my laundry and clean the whole apartment and do dishes and vacuum and -” like ok champ that’s great but why don’t we focus on those two projects due monday first
