Sombra

From all the work and yelling sombra went through from reaper she was so exhausted and ready to go home to just sleep and spend the next day with you.

The moment she opened the door she was smacked in the face with such a nice smell drifting through the house, that devilish smirk grew on her face as she made her way to the kitchen where the music only grew louder.

Walking to the kitchen she noticed you in your pajamas,hips swaying to the music as you were cooking her favorite food.

She was shocked because it was late at night but you really touched her by doing this, this actually made her time 100x better.

She walked up behind you wrapping her arms around your waist as you let out a squeak, both of you swaying back and forth as you finished making dinner,a light chuckle tickling your ear "wow cariño, didn't know you would do this much for me."

you gave her a playful smack on the shoulder "it's done so go sit down and i'll dish us up."

she gave you a peck on the lips and sat down at the table, it may not seem like that much but this honestly surprised her, it felt so special to her.

Mccree

As soon as this boy opened the door you could tell he was home, Letting out huge grumbles and sighs while tripping over his own shoes he took off.

Those grumbles would fade right away after he heard you giggle and call his name to come here.

He would walk into the kitchen setting his hat down on the kitchen table and giving you a big smile as he wrapped his arms around you “i missed you darlin.”

Lots of neck and cheek kisses from this cowboy, until you turned around letting him know you made his favorite food

He took a little second to process but it left him in a great mood and ready to eat, the whole time it was silent but it was filled with affection.

Holding your head with your hand just watching the cowboy happily gobble up his food then with a bit in his beard asking for more.

Letting out a giggle you gladly got him more as he watched you walk over to the stove, with Jesse thinking about how much of a lucky man he was.

Mercy

Mercy had a lot on her hands today and was ready to come home to relaxation, having to take care of a lot of patients along with going on a hard mission working her hardest.

Today she was worn out completely, unlocking the door she put her keys in her purse and took off her coat.

She called out she was home, only to hear back from you running down the stairs “hold on! I’m not done yet, wait there!”

Zooming up to her and giving her a peck on the lips and running to the kitchen, only leaving her confused but she stood there with a exquisite smile on her face.

Hearing you cuss a couple times and the sound of plates she chuckled to herself “by how much your swearing liebling, we should make a swear jar soon.” you only laughed at the comment as you called her to come to the kitchen.

That smile she had on earlier had only grew as she saw how nicely the table was set up with her favorite food along with side dishes.

Once you guys were done eating only to be sitting across from each other holding hands across the table exchanging smiles, as you guys talk about her day leading to other things as you both enjoy the night.

To my fellow female gamers.

(This is about Overwatch, but it can be applied to most competitive games.)

Alright girls. Today I was playing some D.Va in competitive Overwatch. As usual, I was communicating on the voice chat, and as usual, people noticed I was a girl. One guy said to me, “congrats for being the only girl I’ve ever seen who’s not playing mercy.” 

Now, obviously I had noticed how many girls default to playing support - usually the game’s most standard and obvious support (OW Mercy, TF2 Medic, DOTA2 Crystal Maiden). I had some cheeky banter with my friend about a “basic bitch” in a match who was a girl playing mercy.

Yesterday, I queued up with a friend who invited his friend - a girl - and let me tell you something. Her quickplay stats were baffling to me. This girl had 98 hours on Mercy alone, her second most played only having 5 hours. She only had about 7 heroes with play time in total.

Being a fellow girl, I think I know why this is. Guys often like to show off by picking DPS/carry, even going so far as to refuse to change when it’s not a good pick. I’ve never seen this same scenario with girls. Of course I’ve met stubborn and toxic girls in-game, but even when asked, they will change. For example, I was playing a competitive game of Overwatch - attack on Hanamura. There was a girl playing Junkrat. I asked her if she was able to switch to Tracer or someone else who can dive so we could breach the defenses and she got extremely hostile at me but still changed to who I asked. She even played Mercy the next round (and blamed the loss on me because I asked her to change.)

Unlike many guys, girls most often avoid any confrontations or drama buy defaulting to supporting their other teammates. I’m not innocent of this either, I main Lucio, and used to be a support main in TF2 and DOTA2. However, once I realized, hey, I’m allowed to play DPS and carry my team, I started picking heroes besides supports and doing well.

I just wanted to get it out there: Girls, you’re allowed to carry. You’re allowed to be the star. You can do better than guys in games. Someone picks the character you wanted to carry as but is a much lower rank than you? Ask to swap. 70% of the time it will work. They don’t swap? Don’t just pick support and rely on them. I realize “picking whoever you want” can cost the game, but you’re all good and smart enough to still pick wisely, I know it.

Don’t feel bad about maining supports, I still main one in Overwatch. But I only ranked up by branching out, putting my foot down and saying “No, you’re not doing well on that hero, give me a go. Support me instead.”

"How would Hanzo, Genji, and Lucio react to their crush confessing their feelings to them?" Request from @kiryuva Tysm! ;; Hanzo -hanzo would be difficult to approach about this. -he would more likely be in the stage of refusing to accept romance. -he did take interest in you -eyes on you when you weren't looking but he still denied it. -deciding you have nothing to lose today was the day. -you made your way to the training room to find him there, locking eyes the moment you walked in. -He had stopped what he was doing and noted his posture came to a stiff halt. -making your way over to him you had told him you needed to speak. -letting out a sigh before giving you a small nod of approval. -your confession rolling off your lips as he had heard in disbelief. -he would look annoyed and shocked, but then his face would soften realizing he had liked you too. -might take a little bit for him to agree that he likes you too but he will definitely tell you. -this poor boy needs time to think -would be smiling to himself, feeling joyful as if everything happened so fast but ended so well. Genji -it was hard to catch the ninja at a good time to talk. -whenever you found him he was with zenyetta or with others. -he was always fond of teasing you very much, you both had become close and had a good bond. -you had come to conclusion you should tell him because tracer giving you the thumbs up and saying he had liked you was encouraging enough. -when you had finally caught him at a good time he was outside meditating.It had felt rude interrupting but it was the only good chance you had at being alone together. -getting up and making his way over to you, greeting you with that bubbly voice of his -stopping when he realized how serious the look on your face was, becoming skeptical and worried he had asked what was wrong, only leading to your eyebrows furrowing. -"I really need to tell you something." -he stayed calm agreeing to listen to what you had needed to tell him. -after listening to you rambling on and eventually breaking it down to the confession, he very became silent. -the feeling of doubt and frustration growing as the silence continues, only to be left dumbfounded to hear a loud chuckle erupt from the cyborg ninja as he made his way over to engulf you info a big hug -his hands rubbing your back as he calms you down "i like you too." hearing the smirk in his voice. -letting out a long sigh you felt so relieved as you hugged him back. -he will be teasing you about this later of course. Lucio -You both could basically be the power couple if you went out already. -you got along so well that there were no boundaries between you two. -realizing you liked him, telling him was a definite because even if he didn't feel the same he wouldn't treat you differently. -hanging out in his room with music blasting, he was showing you his new songs. -of course you were the first the hear them, you lucky dog. -a big smile grew on your face you decided maybe dropping a major hint would be a great start. -he started playing the new song and you leaned over his shoulder smiling at the screen. -"I've heard this artist before! I love him so much I could date him!" -kicking yourself mentally for being so god damn cheesy you looked down to see lucio staring up at you with a flushed face,but nervously laughing he brushed it off "haha.. You almost got me there y/n." -"i wasn't joking, I'm dead serious." You stare at him as the poor boy is trying to think of what to say as jumbled up emotions fill him. -he turns to face you "does that mean you like me right?" Swallowing your confidence and nodding slowly, you see Lucio's face flash happiness. -you swear you haven't seen the boy smile this big. -getting up and spinning you he has never felt happier to know that you were his now.
