How does one join low tier pokemon tournaments?

Also, considering swapping out my Altaria. She's got max IVs and EVs but she's also easily my lowest hitter and despite cotton guard even my frosmoth has a better damage given to damage done ratio

Her current set up is cotton guard, moonblast, hurricane, and dragon pulse. I chose altaria for cotton guard but she doesn't do enough damage to be useful. (I know frosmoth isn't spectacular stat wise and having two bugs on a team is impractical, I don't care, I love my snubby faced baby). I think the ability is natural cure

definitely gets the least use and gave me the most trouble setting up.

I'm not super attached so I'm trying to figure out if it's worth training up a new pokemon.

My other usual team of pokemon are volcorona, arborlivia, frosmoth, bellibolt, togapex

I'd like advice on improving the set up/my altaria or on what i should replace her with

I feel like people misunderstand why most pacifists are pacifists. It is usually not because they've never experienced the brutality of the world but rather because they have. Pacifism is an active choice. To come out of the world filled with bitterness, to be hyper aware of how pain feels and the consequences of violence, and to decide that no, I will be kind, I will be peaceful, I refuse to add to the suffering in the world no matter what it throws at me, that is an incredibly difficult thing to say and uphold.
