Okay reblog if you’re an artist who STRONGLY PREFERS reblogs with commentary

People are apparently under the impression that reblogging someone’s art and adding a comment is frowned upon and that can’t possibly be true, every artist I know of sees a reblog-comment as like the ultimate definitive reward for their hard work.

Obviously don’t feel bad for NOT adding a comment if you’re shy or just don’t know what to say, but if there’s something you would like to say about a drawing you’ve liked enough to reblog, I’m pretty sure most artists crave hearing it.

I want to go out skateboarding with Iwaizumi at asscrack o'clock and go to some random park so we can sit on the swings and watch the sun rise.

I want to sit in some grass with my back pressed against Asahi's, a set of earbuds split between us and playing a playlist we made together, the sun beating down on our heads.

I want to lay with my head in Ushijima's lap, a book in hand, reading the same six lines over and over while one of his hands absently rub against my hair.

I keep seeing all the videos on tiktok about how your anime comfort character wohld adore you, and now I'm cryingat 330 in the morning imagining what it would be like to get hugged by Asahi and told I'm perfect the way I am🙂

For my handful of followers out there, I love and appreciate you. I'm gonna try and upgrade my blog over the next little while, since winter break is at the end of the week and I'll have some extra time. I'll be upgrading tags, theme, adding a "Table of Contents" (which will include a Masterlist and Tags and all that good stuff), and I'll try out some different post formats.

I keep thinking about the haikyuu boys and how some of their career paths as adults were a surprise to so many people. Like, if you really think about it, how many of them ever really had any of their interests outside of volleyball shown? Yeah, we see Kenma's video games and Nekoma being a bunch of nerds in general, but what do we really know about them?

Maybe Matsukawa didn't have a lot of friends until highschool, and it was because he would constantly tell people facts about mummification, or the birth of the funeral home business after the American Civil War, or how to bleach bones without breaking down their strength and composition. Maybe he would keep beetle carcasses in his pockets and give them little funerals im his yard as a little kid. Maybe he has a book on ancient death rituals he got as a gift and it influenced the rest of his life.

Maybe Nishinoya went fishing with somebody close to him, and even though he didn't like it as a young kid, he began to look forward to it as he got older. Maybe he did tons of research on fish breeds and what species are safe to fish for and which should be released, or on invasive species of fish. Maybe he can name 14 different methods of casting a fishing line and the best recipe of chum to lure certain breeds of fish off the top of his head.

Maybe Semi only became a "civil servant" by following in the path of somebody in his family, even though music is his real passion. Maybe he would hum melodies he created in the shower while doing mundane things like cooking or cleaning. Maybe he would make videos of himself singing and send it to his friends at 3 am to ask what they thought.

Maybe Tendou learned to make sweets because he wanted to try and use them to convince other kids to be his friends, and ended up having a true passion for it. Maybe he had a family cookbook owned by genrations of grandparents before him, and as he perfected new recipes his mom would let him write them down to add to the family recipes. Maybe, as a highschooler, he would spend late nights making sweets and watching anime, and the next day he would bring On-Peice themed sugar cookies to practice and refuse to let anybody leave the gym until they had one.

Yeah, there was a lot of amazing character development for the crucial characters, but even with them, there's barely anything to them beyond their volleyball lives, and tbh, I kinda feel slighted.

I havent posted in a while and I'm really sorry about all that. Ive been dealing with trying not to fall my classes, and I just came out to my family. Theres a lot thays been happening. Im also trying to revamp my blog, so if you guys have any suggestions or tips, I welcome them! Ive never ran a fanblog before now, so all the recommendations are valuable 💖

Haikyuu characters I think would be the best to 🍃🍃🍃 with

Suna: hes got the best dank at all times, and a customized playlist. Kita will drop by with snacks within ten minutes of a text sent his way. Suna would be super chill, and he would probably be a little less reserved, so he would smile and laugh more.

Tendou: My man is hittin you with the edibles. All homemade, all capable of leavin you fucked up and seeing god. He likes to turn on LED lights and watch cartoons really loud.

Iwaizumi: First of all, I am in love with this man and will do anything and everything for and/or with him. Second, I think hes a laugher. He would make you hotbox in the bathroom with him, and then youd go to the nearest park and just laugh until you couldn't laugh any more. All it would take is some eye contact, or even the slightest sound of a repressed laugh sill send you both into a new fit of giggles.

Sugawara: I feel like you would both go skateboarding and climb up to the top of a bridge or an abandoned building. You would share headphones, and he'd pull out a giant bento filled with lukewarm pizza rolls from his backpack.

The Tanaka Siblings: Saeko is a seasoned vetaran. She knows everything there is to know about what to smoke and how to smoke it. She always has the best edibles, and her rig setup and rolling skills are godly. Ryu has all the snacks and cool video games you could ever want. The three of you would also look at skin mags and laugh like children.
