I feel like for a little while there we had a really nice and safe fandom and recently it somehow just… got horrible?? I remember when I would see anything Epic related and the only things people were doing was hyping it up and expressing excitement over the community and project as a whole. I remember when someone would make an Epic reference and everyone would go “WOAH I LOVE THAT MUSICAL!!!” “ME TOO DID YOU SEE THAT ONE ARTIST??” “YEAH I LOVE THEM!!” or even “it’s not my cup of tea but it’s a really interesting interpretation that I appreciate!” but now it’s just… kind of “if you don’t share my exact opinion and interpretation you suck and are objectively a worse person” and they even direct that towards Jorge and official cast members. I don’t know what happened to us

Saw a video in Tiktok about Epic...whole (almost) comment section helped me to understand once again why I avoid fandom space most of the time 🥲
