Motorcycle ride through the Rocky Mountains FOUR CORNERS from Skúli K. Skúlason on Vimeo.

vimeo.com/113740912 In September 2013 a group of riders on 16 Harley Davidson’s started a journey through the Rocky Mountains, from Denver Colorado to Needles California. They rode a circle of 2.300 miles or almost 3.700 km, which eventually led them back to Denver.

It was a 10 days ride, where each day topped the one before, with new and exiting adventures.

Part of the ride was on Route 66, where they relived the glorious times of the forties. It was a fantastic ride over mountain passes, through canyons and beautiful valleys. Everywhere they went, they only met nice people and the weather was good to them, although it time to time, reminded them who was in charge.

This is their story, filmed by few of the riders, edited and produced by Skúli K. Skúlason, who was also one of the riders.

The Music Video for Baltazar’s Lluvia addresses the pressure that the indifference of the world can have on one person, it’s bigotry depicted by a town and a father showing the repercussions that their actions cause on a romantic relationship. A woman is sentenced to death because her beliefs and sexual orientation do not align with those of society and the different institutions that compose it. Hate and lack of compassion come together to take away the light between two women, between two humans and destroy real love.

Process Video of my personal project " PTEROIS" - vimeo.com/76320930 Work kept me quite busy, so this one took me a while to create. As always, I've learned so much along the way - crazy. Can't wait to take advantage of all that in future projects.

Used this piece to step out of my 'comfort zone' and try out new tools, etc ... Therefore there are a couple of first timers in there: Subdivision modeling // UV layouts // Using Vray as main render engine //SSS ( SubSurfaceScattering), etc ...

I kept some descriptive text in case anyone wants to know more about the technical bits and pieces.
