“Been busy lately, but also kinda lonely on my end. Mostly been breaking up fights. But beside all that, pretty lame day.”

Benny shrugged, it’s been a boring day for him really. There hasn’t been much to do recently.

He squinted, although now kinda uneasy that Cohozuna kinda just. took it that way. Should’ve kept your mouth shut, goldie. Dude wasn’t trying to be weird. Sure, he’s fruity as hell but he wouldn’t- yeah you get my point.

He removed his fins from his head, then put one in his mouth. Chewing on it, he was thinking. What was he planning now. It was awkward silence for a moment until he spoke up.

“..H0W AB0UT THIS..”

..I think he means the head pats.

He looked away again, scratching the back of his head.

“Huh? Oh, hello! What's a salmonid like you doing out here?”

“PR0BABLY. IS THERE ANY WATER ?”

His voice was dry and low, now perking his head up a little to look around and process where he’s at right now. The Salmonid coughed, even some bits of sand popping right out as well.

“I’M FRYING 0UT HERE.”

He yawned, dusting the remaining sand off of him and scratching his chin. Ew, his mouth felt dry. PB felt completely uncomfortable right now. Once he heard the Smallfry, he looked around and then spotted him. The Chum blinked, he was silent until he fully processed its presence. “MM?” He was. really out of it.

That much, Smallfry could tell.

"Are you dying??" Other creatures preferred to ask 'are you okay', but it thought this was much more to the point. There were a bunch of different answers to 'are you okay' that meant a bunch of different things, but if they were dying was a simple yes or no question.

Smallfry chittered as it waited for a response, either unable or unwilling to stay put as it moved around in the sand. If he was dying, then it could just haul him over to one of the nearby water fountains and reverse-drown him to life. Was... there a word for that?
