Looking through my sketchbook, found some drawings im still p happy with; I ended up googling pictures of severe burns to make Yosuzume's scar look more realistic, Im trying to make their wounds somewhat unsettling as opposed to exposed cartoon skelebones

Peridot Sketch Dump! Im working on being a bit looser when I draw. I think way too hard when I draw, so my art often comes off as rigid. Im very pleased with how this turned out so i’m looking forward to improving my skills

Did a little screenshot redraw of Amethyst from Catch and Release, really pleased with how it turned out! I especially love how I drew her nose and colored her gem, haha

Inktober Day 1! Today I went with the Homeworld Gems. I didn’t add Jaspers markings because I didnt think they’d look good as an outline. I will color this later though

I love seeing her in color! I never considered her eye color before, so it may change in the future. I was gonna do some shading, but I really liked the simplicity of the drawing. I may shade later

Finally an update! Catch and Release has become one of my favorite episodes, and peridoy was absolutely adorable! Cant wait for Thursday! - Im definitely going to be coloring this, probably tomorrow

I dunno why i drew her with her hijab on if it’s supposed to be for clothing reference, but i guess most of her outfits would involve it in some way. Perhaps I can try different patterns and colors for it? Next up is Kazehana!
