It’s been over a year since I posted this and I’m curious, with the increased backlash and crickets from SJM on no update, what do you think the first announcement will be, because it’s become obvious the next post will have to be next ACOTAR related and there’s the fact there’s most likely shit going down between her and Bloomsbury behind the scenes

If you think something different than below let me know I’m so curious! Do you think she will hide who Elain’s love interest will be and completely pretend g x az as a ship doesn’t exist because that’s what I think, I think she will focus on the “love triangle” if you can call it that between Elain, Az and L (if you can call them one)

So it’s no secret that I believe the next book will be Elain’s with Azriel as the love interest, but I have an important question

It’s important to note she announced it will be Nesta and Cassian’s book WHEN she announced the title, NOT when cover was released. She didn’t do a “soon to be announced” post for acosf. It was something she’s never had to do because she’s never done full duo povs before, we’ve always known who will be the main character(s), even if NESTA AND CASSIAN WERE OBVIOUS!!!

Let me know if what you think will happen is different than what you want!

Please I hope they don’t drag out the ship wars it’s been too fucking long and for WHAT, I swear if they hide who the couple is until the synopsis release (which I can’t remember when it’s dropped in the sequencing) I’ll actually cry. Idk if it’ll be good tears or bad tears but there will be waterworks nonetheless

Also considering next year will be the 10th anniversary since acotar I hope they do something special in general

hey so. the only reason the e/lucien mating bond exists is to be an obstacle for elriel to overcome. it exists to give them a barrier. a reason they can't be together. to add political intrigue. a forbidden relationship. otherwise they could just hook up rn and nobody would care. there wouldn't really be a plot. just like g/wynriel.

I’m gonna be very blunt here but it needs to be said, the most unbelieve part of ACOSF for me is that Cassian and Nesta didn’t do anal play

Like I do no believe for one second there aren’t Illyrian midwives who could’ve helped in this scenario, my midwife friend and I just laugh at this scene because wtf, even with my (incomplete) doula training it goes against the most important thing which is informed consent and autonomy??? Madja tf

I have no idea how feyre using her powers once to change her pelvis during birth would’ve been so bad because it was either that or die… it may not be documented in Illyrian texts because they hate women but I’m SURE oral accounts of births are a real thing, plus they expect us to believe feyre is the first shape-changer who got pregnant?

Can we all agree that Madja is a shit healer--maybe even the worst healer out there and deserves to be fired and get her healing license revoked?

Lies to her patient and doesn’t tell her that she and her baby will most likely die in childbirth

Follows another person’s request to keep her patient’s condition a secret, apparently not having any moral qualms about it

Her patient is also her High Lady - potential death of High Lady and heir to the throne would cause enormous political ramifications. No nevermind to Madja. She’ll keep quiet.

Doesn’t think to prepare for the delivery–she had 10 months!–didn’t think to figure anything out, engage with other healers, bring them over to help out during labor

Doesn’t really know how to perform a C-section

Lets her patient bleed out before even attempting to do a C-section

Why is she not wearing gloves???

‘Take her pain away’? WTF? Why haven’t YOU taken her pain away this whole time?

Why are there like 27 people in the birthing room? Why is Feyre not in some infirmary/hospital type setting, considering that the birth will be difficult?

She gives shit advice like ‘hey, don’t shape shift. It MAY harm the baby.’ Really? How about killing mom and baby, is that okay? Like, she tells Feyre not to color her hair, but fails to mention that a winged baby will probably shred her from the inside

Never comes to Rhys and says, honestly–hey, High Lord, I really don’t know how to deal with this issue. I am not qualified. I’ve never delivered a winged baby. Let’s bring all the help we can.

Bonus:

When trying to diagnose Elain, her solution was basically ‘alright, let’s ask that guy. Maybe he can figure it out.” He can’t. ‘Fine, then let’s ask that other random guy.’ He did figure it out. 

Period pains–her solution is just to knock Feyre out and render her unconscious. What?

I wouldn’t trust Madja to give me an aspirin, let alone deliver my baby. 

She is probably at least 700-800 years old, but could be significantly older, since she looks old, but in all that time, she hasn’t figured out how to do a C-section. Case closed.

SJM didn’t even post that the HOSAB paperback was released today, she previously announce the paperback is a thing and the release date which is still pinned on ig but CRICKETS… there’s definitely something suspicious happened on the backend of her and bloomsbury’s relationship

I guess they also knew the backlash with no announcement, plus she didn’t even post for ACOTAR 10th anniversary

God it’s such a shitshow, hey people who joined SJM fandom in the 2020’s, here’s a sad fun fact: she used to RELEASE a BOOK every 6 MONTHS!!

My latest piece was inspired by the painting by Dean Cornwell, 'The Other Side', 1918. The beautifully intimate kiss between reunited lovers and the fully extended wings sparked my creativity to incorporate a dusk palette for Elain and Azriel. I did a lot of exploring with this piece and I'm very pleased with the new stained glass look I went for. 🥰

I can’t stand when diehard Lucien fans say Elain has led him on. The girl has done everything but show interest. She’s literally more enthusiastic about watching water boil than she is about engaging with him. If anything, she’s made it painfully obvious she wants nothing to do with him.
