Once in high school, during the pandemic, I was having trouble finding the motivation to turn things in on time. So whenever I was missing assignments, my dad would make me come with him places like family friends' parties or home depot as punishment. I was thoroughly motivated afterwards to complete my assignments.

I once convinced myself that "mimicule" meant "a small unit" and I was imagining ways to insult people when I decided to check how it was spelled... only to realize I fucking made it up.
