OOC : Logging in shortly to announce I will take a hiatus. I hope it won't last long but for now I have a lot of things to do for college and my driving license so I have little time to roleplay. I will end the hiatus once my situation becomes more stable.

That voice... How many times did he dream of being granted the chance to hear it again ? How many times did he fear actually hearing it ? It had bolted from the blue, this memory that had haunted his nights for so long and that he had attempted to hide deep inside.

He could only stare at the chimerical figure, rendered mute by the shock. Suddenly time had stopped and nothing else but her existed to him. His little sister, the one he had loved so dearly yet had cowardly abandoned. She had found him.

After what would have seemed to be an eternity to him, he managed to utter but one sole word : "Maria..."

A part of her was pleased to see the familiar form, yet she was apprehensive on what his current state was like. Taking a careful step forward, she calls out to the other. “Leon….is it really you?”

Leon was sitting under the shadow of a large oak tree, enjoying a good book after an intense session of training. He was clother in light leather armor which highlighted how lithe yet muscled his body had grown over the years.

He had exercised from dawn to dusk and the obscurity that the sky had clothed itself in didn't allow reading beyond the light of a candle.

The quiescence and the fragrance of the old manuscript were contributing to create a pleasant atmosphere for a nap. Nap that the knight was in dire need of.

He looked slightly away as she winked, folding his arms. He wasn't used to be called 'sweet' and didn't deem it to be a suiting choice of words "I believe there is not much about me that could interest someone like you. I am a humble dark knight at the service of his majesty, the Emperor of Palamecia."

“The name’s Ruby,” She grinned. It was obvious that he had been spying on her, but Ruby didn’t mind. She may have, if he wasn’t so good looking.

Leon turned around only to spot his younger brother waving at him. He sighed and grabbed his sleeves, pulling him forward as he walked. 

"If only you weren't so slow, you wouldn't have lost me. You can be such an embarassment sometimes."

In spite of how arrogant Leon could be, he cared a lot for Firion and would always give him a hand in time of troubles.

"We're in the same class, if you feel you're going to lose your way, follow my steps. And don't be late for class."

Leon made his way through the crowd, viciously bumping students away from him only to reach the panels that could provide him information on what teachers were assigned to his class. He sighed.

He cleared his throat, slightly embarassed. "I... err..." He scratched the back of his neck out of unease. "I was merely intrigued by your fancy appearance." He did not try to deny he had been observing her though.

As Ruby was relaxing in the park, Ruby noshing on a finger sandwich she had bought from the cafe across the street. As she chewed, she was sure she could feel the presence of someone near her. She craned her neck back to check behind her, and found a handsome young man looking down at her.

“Why heeeeeello.” She looked the man up and down, checking to see if he was worth her time. “What’s your name sweetie pie?”

How was she able to detect him so easily ? “Well that is interesting.” he commented, genuinely impressed by the woman’s skills. “You’re quite the sharped-eared one, aren’t you ?” He removed his helmet and smirked, tending her his hand. “I fear you misread my intents, rat-lady, while it’s true I have observed you a bit, I did not plan on hurting you.”
