Working on leveling my Necromancer, Zazirin Nightshade, and have started pulling him out for RP, even though I hate using un-leveled characters, but he’s hard to resist playing. X)

Inspired by Vani’s new Bifrost, ironically not actually including it. >.>  This is my main, Vanaliel, my beloved Sylvari Tempest.

This WAS supposed to be a warm up sketch, and then I kinda went nuts… ^.^;;;   I’m discovering how valuable it is to stop and draw something for myself in between commissions, because otherwise I get hung up on what I think the customer wants instead of having faith that someone who has commissioned me did so because they like what I do.

Anet Appreciation:

So, kinda curious but I wonder if anyone else does this. I kinda got inspired to share this little thing I do after reading that “Common Decency by Saying Thank You” post floating around.

Anyway, whenever I see a person with an Anet tag walk by I always leave a PM for them thanking them for all the hard work they and everyone else at Anet does. I mean yeah the game has a few flaws but what game doesn’t? GW2 is a great game that’s got a special place in my heart and I am always willing to show my appreciation to the wonderful people who bring it to life.

So thanks ArenaNet!

One thing that happened during the NA Trahearne Memorial: Walking through Bloodcoast Tide and Cobalt poked its head up and killed 6 of us instantly.

I'm still thinking about Trahearne and Eir but I also keep thinking about my commanders and how some of them had to handle LS2 & HoT.. SO how did your commanders deal with (or may still be dealing with) everything? And does the current threat affect them as well and how?

It still feels like yesterday that many of us lost a person who was close to us, and perhaps, our characters as well.  The pain of that loss, while acute, has bloomed a memorial in the name of the loved one that has passed like a great flower, calling those that remember him fondly to its petals.  We all still mourn his loss, and revile the undignified manner in which he left our grasp.  So, we say:  If Arena Net prefers to move on, then we will take our time, and show everyone what this unique, deep, friend-to-all means to us!

You are invited, friends and strangers alike, to participate in a march to celebrate a wonderful person.  Firstborn of the Sylvari, Trahearne, had an important journey ahead of him, as we all do, and to commemorate his trek from simple scholar to leader of a unified army, we will be marching from the Grove to Fort Trinity.  We welcome all characters on all level achievements to attend! Please keep in mind that there are going to inevitably be rules regarding this march, so that we may all keep cordial and understanding of everyone.

Please be respectful of everyone’s headcanons, ships, and stories.  Some of us may have our characters shipped with Trahearne, but there isn’t any reason to play “I’m better than you” with anyone.  Let everybody have their fun.

Do not claim Trahearne.  He is as much yours as everyone’s.  We all love and respect him for personal reasons.

Also be respectful of people in general.  Use names and pronouns they prefer when speaking to them or of them.

Protect low levels in high-hostile, high-level areas.  We’d like to keep everything running smoothly!

Please keep crude humor or comments to a minimum!  We don’t want minors exposed to anything unnecessary!
